Malashia Madave jailed after toddler wanders away from home

23-year-old Malashia Madave and her boyfriend, Nicholas Safdari, left their three-year-old child alone at home on November 25th. Safdari left their child at home to pick up some personal belongings and admitted to law enforcement that he had to leave their child alone for more than 40 minutes. While Safdari was out, the child left their residence without shoes, wearing only his pajamas. The child was reported missing around 5:30 a.m. and was found nearly an hour later in a parking lot about 1 mile away from Safdari’s home. Safdari later revealed to law enforcement that his mother, Madave, was at the gas station at the time of his child’s disappearance and that this wasn’t the first time they had left their child alone. But when cops interviewed Madave, she said that she was out drinking and came home only to find out that she needed to go back because of her missing wallet. Madave was taken into custody and charged with child neglect.

28-year-old Tyia Bonner is charged with felony drug possession after crashing her vehicle on Maplewood Trace, and officers reporting that marijuana smoke was still rolling out of the vehicle when they arrived at the scene. A “large bag” of marijuana was in plain view, and a search revealed more “large bags” of marijuana, totaling 13.6 ounces. An additional 5 ounces of “synthetic marijuana” was located, along with 100 plastic bags, three scales, and $413 in cash.

Crystal Meyer reported that her boyfriend, 46-year-old Richard Allen Anthony, slapped her and gouged her eye before he left their hotel room at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel, where they were visiting from Oklahoma. Metro Nashville Police arrived, and officers documented swelling on the victim, and her eye was red. Officers located Anthony, who told them nothing happened and “perhaps she got into it with someone else after I left the room.” Hotel security checked the cameras, and no one entered or left other than Anthony.

Metro Nashville Officers working the Entertainment District Initiative late Friday night found 27-year-old Michael Terry being disorderly at Johnny Cash’s Bar in downtown Nashville. Staff told police he was attempting to start fights with other patrons and was heavily intoxicated. Officed transported him to booking and charged him with disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

McDUI: Troy White passed out behind the wheel in drive-thru with two loaded handguns

Police found 56-year-old Troy White asleep in his vehicle at McDonald’s drive-thru at 1:30 a.m. Sunday. He initially seemed unconscious but slowly acknowledged people were around, but could not follow simple commands. Police say he reeked of alcohol, and he stated he had been drinking at a nearby bar where he had “four bottles of beer.” He performed poorly on field sobriety tests, and during a search of his vehicle incident to arrest, two loaded handguns were found around his seat, once under it, and the other next to the center console.

Billy Prine found drunk on kitchen floor amid broken glass plates, charged with assault of woman

Police responded to a residence on Lake Chateau Drive late Sunday night, where they found “broken glass everywhere” and 68-year-old William ‘Billy’ Prine, the bother of the late John Prine, sitting on the kitchen floor “extremely intoxicated”. He told officers he was just throwing glass plates and fell down. A woman at the residence, Lisa Finkel, said he was throwing the plates in her direction, and she was in fear of being struck with the glass plates. Billy Prine was charged with assault, and transported to booking.
