Travis Perry yells at officers after being told he can’t urinate outside Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk

25-year-old Travis Perry was removed from Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk Bar in Downtown Nashville late January 27th. Perry approached officers, asking if he could urinate outside. Once advised that it was against the law to do so, he became agitated, yelling profanities at them. Officers noticed he was intoxicated and tried assisting him in getting a taxi or rideshare, but he refused. He was with another individual, so officers allowed them both time to find a ride, but Perry’s phone died, causing him to get frustrated with his acquaintance, threatening him. Perry was deemed a danger to himself or others, so he was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Fort Campbell Soldier Christopher Jackson assaults security guard at Jason Aldean’s Rooftop Bar

21-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Christopher Jackson had a scuffle with a security guard, Travis McMullen, at Jason Aldean’s Kitchen and Rooftop Bar in the early hours of January 1st. Officers observed Jackson hit him, but McMullen was not injured and advised officers that he wanted to prosecute for the assault. During the investigation, a firearm fell from Jackson’s waistband, prompting Jackson to admit he had consumed alcohol. Jackson was taken into custody for assault and being in possession of a weapon while under the influence.

Ethan Kaiser fights multiple officers, runs from police on Broadway

21-year-old Ethan Jeffery Kaiser was seen fighting Alexander Jobie, an armed protective services employee, on the corner of 4th Street and Broadway in the early hours of December 3rd.  Jobie was attempting to detain Kaiser while fighting with Heath Williams, security at Whiskey Row, after being denied entry. Kaiser disregarded and crossed the security rope, so Williams pushed him back. Then, Kaiser punched Williams in the face and kicked him in the leg. When Jobie was trying to secure Kaiser, they ended up on the ground, and Kaiser punched him in the face and then rolled over on top of him. Kaiser then broke free and started running. Officers pursued Kaiser on foot as he was noncompliant with their commands to stop and began to resist once they were able to arrest him actively. Kaiser was charged with resisting arrest and two counts of assault.

Ellie Bemrose drunkenly gets into someone else’s Uber on Broadway

21-year-old Ellie Bemrose got into an Uber that she did not request on Broadway in the early hours of November 12th. The driver flagged down the officers, and they escorted Bemrose out of the vehicle. Bemrose was visibly intoxicated as officers attempted to assist her in getting home. However, she did not have a wallet, a phone, or any numbers of family or friends. Bemrose was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Roy Hastings faces felony for passing out nitrous balloons at Phish concert in Nashville

31-year-old Pennsylvania tourist Roy Hastings was observed in the area of the Walk of Fame Park just outside the Phish concert in downtown Nashville this weekend. Officers described a sea of fifty to one hundred people who were all partaking in inhaling nitrous oxide via inflated balloons. Officers noted some were talkative; some were talking about how high they were; some were quiet, while others vomited.

Hastings was wearing a multi-colored shirt and blue jeans while holding a nitrous oxide tank between his legs as he passed out balloons. He claimed the tank wasn’t his when officers approached him. Police found balloons and determined them to be drug paraphernalia. Hastings was taken into custody and charged with a felony toxic vapors offense.

Thomas Alexander jailed for DUI and handgun possession on Broadway downtown

Officers observed 26-year-old Thomas Alexander turn onto Broadway, where the road was closed, and then turn in the lane of oncoming traffic on September 30th. Alexander was signaled to pull over and to get out of the vehicle. During the sobriety test, he showed multiple signs of intoxication and was placed into custody for driving under the influence of alcohol. Alexander was also in possession of a firearm while under the influence. He admitted to pre-gaming prior to driving.

Stephen Bittman jailed for public intoxication in Nashville

43-year-old Stephen Bittman walked up to the police and uttered random statements to them on the evening of September 28th in downtown Nashville. Police reported him having visible signs of intoxication and attempted to assist him to his hotel or home. He was unable to tell them the address or contact someone he knew. He was then arrested for public intoxication as he was unable to care for himself in public.

Alexis Busha jailed after fighting security at Jason Aldean’s bar

21-year-old Alexis Busha was visibly intoxicated outside Jason Aldean’s bar on Broadway Saturday. Police responded due to an incident between Alexis and the security staff earlier. Alexis was making random statements and was aggressive when police spoke to her. She noticed a woman and began approaching her as if to start a fight, so police placed Alexis into custody. She was escorted to the patrol vehicle but was still aggressive with the police. Police arrested her for public intoxication because they felt she was a danger to others if left unattended.

Joseph Tannous assaults cop who retrieved his fake ID from Barstool Sports

20-year-old Joseph Tannous was with a friend at the Barstool Sports bar in downtown Nashville early Sunday morning when he attempted to use a fake ID to gain entry to the venue. Security took the fake ID from Tannous and would not return it. Tannous then contacted the police in an attempt to retrieve his ID card. Officers reported the person on the ID was obviously not Tannous, and he was unable to provide any matching information. Tannous moved toward Officer Casey Lopez and attempted to snatch the fake ID from him, assaulting the officer in the process.
