63-year-old Brigitte Burks Tobola admitted to the police that she whipped her husband across the back with a network cable after he unplugged the modem from the wall. Her husband, Paul Charles Tobola, said that he was in his bedroom when she entered unannounced and began whipping him with the cable, upset the internet wasn’t working. Police observed multiple cuts and bruises on Paul’s back. Brigitte was deemed the primary aggressor and was arrested for domestic assault.

Sara Lackova charged in assault of ex-boyfriend at Nashville AirBNB

23-year-old Sara Lackova spoke to police regarding an incident between her and her ex-boyfriend at an Airbnb At Burnham Apartments on Tuesday. She admitted to pushing her ex-boyfriend, Nicholas French, after he yelled at her during an argument and followed her back to the Airbnb. She pushed him because she did not want him inside the Airbnb. Nicholas told police that she refused to let him inside to grab his belongings and slapped him in the face. Video footage shows the two of them at the entrance, and Nicholas puts his arms up before Sara pushes him to keep him from entering. A witness across the street said they saw Nicholas with his arms up and Sara pushing him. Police noted scratch marks on Nicholas’ arm and believed it was from Sara.

Didem Toker charged in domestic assault of her husband

35-year-old Didem Toker was jailed early Sunday morning when her husband reported that she assaulted him on Charlotte Pike. Liam Rooney Shane told police that he and his wife got into an argument over a comment that was made during a phone call with family members. Both parties stated that Toker slapped him for the comment that was made. Police observed scratches on the inside of his bottom lip that he claimed were from the assault.

Deana Wikowski jailed after slapping husband in downtown Nashville hotel

44-year-old Deana Wikowski was jailed early Sunday morning after police responded to the Moxy Hotel on Third Ave, where she reportedly assaulted her husband. When police arrived, Joseph Medlar Jr. was sitting at the bar located inside the hotel. He told police that his wife was initially with him at the bar until they had gotten into an argument about how much he had been drinking. She then went upstairs to their hotel room on the second floor. Medlar went upstairs to speak with her, but they only continued to argue. According to Medlar, this is when his wife slapped him on the left side of his face. She tried to slap him once again, but he was able to block any further attacks. Wikowski then jumped on him, began kicking him, and slapped him again, but this time on the right side of the face. Police observed scratch marks as well as swelling on and around his neck and the back of his head.

Lavinia Shearron jailed after pepper spraying 16-year-old daughter for being disrespectful

42-year-old Lavinia Shearron was jailed on September 12th after pepper spraying her 16-year-old on Franklin Road. The juvenile reported that she and her mother had gotten into an argument that led to her being pepper sprayed. Shearron told police that her daughter was being very disrespectful, and she confronted her daughter because she needed to be disciplined for speaking to her disrespectfully. The juvenile had walked into one of the rooms within the apartment, and when she came out, her mother pulled pepper spray from her bra and sprayed her. Shearron claims she did it out of a reaction because although she saw nothing in her daughter’s hands, she knew there were heavy objects in that room that her daughter may have used to throw at her. Ms. Shearron was taken into custody, and the juvenile was transported to Vanderbilt Children’s hospital.

Zaria Bibbs bear sprays man, threatens to have family & friends come for him

23-year-old Zaria Bibbs was jailed after spraying her nephew’s father with bear spray. Zaria’s nephew was out to eat with his mother, Brianna, and his father, Corey Boyd. Shortly after dinner, Brianna received a call from her sister Zaria stating that she would not hang out with Corey. While on the phone, Zaria began to threaten Corey, saying she would shoot him and have her dad kill him. Brianna stepped out of the vehicle, leaving Corey and LC, her juvenile son, in the backseat. A few moments later, Zaria pulled up in the parking lot and sprayed bear spray through the driver’s side window that was already rolled down.

While spraying the car, she told Corey she had other cars en route to help her. Although Corey was in pain and couldn’t see properly, he drove out of the parking lot to avoid any further issues with Zaria. He then drove home to Marquin Drive, where he called the police. The dispatcher could hear Corey and his juvenile son in the background, “coughing and having problems breathing.” While police spoke with Corey, he constantly wiped his face with sanitizing napkins. The blood vessels in his eyes were large and inflamed. Some type of dried residue was also observed on the dashboard and driver’s window of Corey’s vehicle. The officers asked LC how he was doing, and he replied, “Good, my eyes are clean.” He didn’t appear to be in any discomfort.

Saida Tiul charged in assault of her boyfriend, Justo Rufino Pop Pop

18-year-old Saida Tiul and her boyfriend, Justo Rufino Pop Pop, spoke to police regarding a domestic disturbance at their residence on McLendon Dr on September 8th. Justo told police that he was drunk around 2:30 that morning and attempted to enter his room when Saida became angry at him for drinking. He reported that to make her happy, he offered her a hug. Saida then refused to hug, hit him in the face several times, and scratched him. Justo said that he told Saida to stop, but she continued hitting him. When Saida stopped, she left the room to sit on the couch. He said that a witness, Marc Xcna, met up with him, and he had no further contact with Saida until the police arrived.

Marco told the police he overheard the incident from within his room and heard Justo ask Saida to stop hitting him. He said that he heard Justo tell Saida to get off of him, and then he left the room, so Marco went to check on Justo and saw that he was bleeding heavily from his face. Marco then brought Justo into his room to await the police. Saida said she was trying to sleep when Justo entered the room, drunk, and tried lying down with her. She said that Justo then grabbed her by the hair and began punching her in the face. When her nose began to bleed from the punches, she said that she began to fight back.

Police observed only a scratch on Saida’s bottom lip, which she did not comment on, but reported several scratches throughout Justo’s body as well as swelling to his eye and nose. They also found blood on the bedroom floor that Saida said was Justo’s, and Justo sought medical attention on the scene. Saida was deemed the primary aggressor due to Justo’s severe injuries and Marco’s account of the situation. Justo stated that he did not wish to prosecute, but police prosecuted on his behalf due to the injuries and domestic relationship.

Camron Ellis charged in assault of boyfriend, rips TV from wall, stomps it

20-year-old Camron Ellis was jailed Sunday morning after police responded to Woodale Lane and spoke with Aaron Mitchell, who advised that he and Ellis had been together for a year. He said Ellis had been drinking and wanted to go out to a club, but Mitchell didn’t want to go out; he wanted to go to bed. Ellis kept talking and wouldn’t leave him alone, so he ignored him. When Ellis realized he was being ignored, he became angry and started packing up his belongings to leave. In the process of packing, Ellis broke Mitchell’s ceramic toothbrush holder in the bathroom. He then walked into the bedroom yelling, grabbed the water tank from a dehumidifier, and hit it against the headboard, stating to Mitchell, “You don’t think I’ll hit you with this?”

That’s when Mitchell called 911, and Ellis went upstairs, ripped the TV off the wall mount, and stepped on it. Mitchell explained that the TV belonged to him, and he had it for 2-3 years. The police observed the broken toothbrush holder, droplets of water from the de-humidifier, and the damaged TV and photographed all of it as evidence. There was also damage to the ceiling and walls from Ellis ripping out the mount. When officers tried to speak with Ellis, he wouldn’t cooperate and stated he just wanted to leave. He also refused to identify himself. Ellis was determined to be the primary aggressor and taken into custody.

Danielle N. Marx jailed after waking boyfriend up by punching him in face, per report

40-year-old Danielle N. Marx woke her ex-boyfriend up by punching him in the face, according to what he told police when they arrived at the residence on Thursday morning. The ex-boyfriend, Eric Schwieterman, told police there is tension between them because they are going through a breakup. Police reported that there was bruising around Eric’s eye. Eric said that he pushed her and left the apartment after she punched him. Danielle told the police that nothing physical happened between her and Eric. The police told Danielle they would arrest her for domestic assault, and she began changing her story several times, stating that she was attacked. She had no visible injuries, but Eric did, so she was determined to be the primary aggressor.

Shannon Furlough punches boyfriend’s nose, bites his shoulder during argument

On Tuesday, 43-year-old Shannon Furlough was seen arguing with her boyfriend, Michael Connors, in the lobby of Sentral SoBro by security. The security told police that he followed Shannon and Michael upstairs to their floor to contact them. The police knocked on their door several times before Michael answered and told them that he and Shannon argued. He also said that she hit him in the nose, causing it to bleed, and bit his shoulder. Police noticed blood in the loft from his nose, and Michael said he did not wish for the police to intervene and get Shannon in trouble. Shannon arrived back at the loft while the police spoke to Michael, with blood at the top of her head. She told police that she did not know where Michael received his injuries and that they only argued. Also, she said that she only returned to the loft to gather her belongings and leave. Police determined she was the primary aggressor, so she was arrested for domestic assault.
