DUI: Dustin Weber travels 90 in a 55 mph zone; open beer bottles & Adderall in vehicle

37-year-old Dustin Albert Weber was driving his vehicle at 90 mph in a 55 mph zone just after 1 a.m. Thursday, according to THP Trooper Joseph Chery. Chery says Weber passed his patrol car at that speed, and he initiated a traffic stop on I-40 near mile marker 52. Weber reportedly reeked of alcohol and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. Inside his vehicle was two empty beer bottles (Samuel Adams) and several pills, believed to be Adderall.

Robert Charbonneau charged with a cornucopia of drugs during Dickerson Pike traffic stop

A traffic stop on a vehicle traveling 55mph in a 40 mph zone on Dickerson Pike revealed 30-year-old Robert Charbonneau in the passenger seat alongside a female driver. Police say they smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle and conducted a search. While no marijuana was found, Robert’s backpack contained 5 used glass pipes, 10 Suboxone pills, 2 generic Viagra, 1 Trazodone, and 2.4 grams of powder which tested positive for Fentanyl.

Landon Myers floored after fight at Legends Corner, charged with cocaine possession & drunkenness

Metro Nashville Police working the Entertainment District Initiative in downtown Nashville encountered 24-year-old Landon Myers of Rome City, Indiana, who had been in a fight with another patron at Legends Corner. When officers arrived, Myers was on the floor of the venue and had dropped his wallet, which had his ID visible from the outside front sleeve. In it, officers also observed a baggie that is believed to be cocaine. After being evaluated, Myers refused any further medical treatment and left the EMS vehicle. He showed signs of being extremely intoxicated and was taken into custody for public intoxication and drug possession.

Elder Eli Milla-Rodriguez admits to reselling marijuana & edibles during traffic stop

Police conducted a traffic stop on 18-year-old Elder Eli Milla-Rodriguez just after noon on Monday when he failed to stop fully at an Antioch stop sign. More interestingly to the officer watching was that he stopped at a driveway just before the stop sign, where a female was standing at the end of the driveway, to whom he sold marijuana through the passenger side window. As the traffic stop was conducted, the officer reportedly smelled marijuana, and Elder advised he had a firearm in the vehicle when told a search would be conducted. Officers found 30.4 grams of marijuana, a Glock 22 with a drum-style magazine. Elder told police he routinely buys marijuana and edibles by the ounce and resells them, and carries the firearm for protection.

Bobbie Larkin stored drugs in backpack of 7-year-old son; charged under Haley’s Law

35-year-old Bobbie Larkin told her 7-year-old son to grab his backpack as they exited the vehicle during a traffic stop after police had observed her conducting a drug deal just moments before. Inside the child’s backpack, detectives located 4.6 grams of cocaine, Oxycodone pills, and ammunition for the handgun that was stored in the glove box. During the traffic stop, Larkin also gave police consent to search her home, which was 2 miles away. Detectives froze the home, and she was brought to her residence to sign the consent form. A search of the home resulted in the seizure of nearly one pound of marijuana, digital scales, Xanax pills, 2 grams of cocaine, and multiple firearms. Larkins is being prosecuted under “Haley’s Law,” which could result in a 15-25 year sentence to serve just on the child abuse charge.

14 Xanax Bars: Desiree Ivey charged with felony possession with intent after drug transaction

18-year-old Desiree Ivey is free on pre-trial release after Metro Nashville Police stopped a vehicle she was in with Austin Watts, which was observed by undercover detectives at it was involved in a drug transaction at a West Nashville Thornton’s. Though Austin claimed his one-ounce baggie of marijuana from the vehicle, a search of the Tahoe revealed 14 Xanax bars in a blue purse located in Ivey’s seat, along with $140 in cash. She claimed the purse and drugs belonged to her Aunt.

Is that a half-pound of marijuana, or are you just happen to see me? — Charles Williams arrested

Metro Nashville Police Sergeant Jason Sweeney was traveling on Briley Parkway Tuesday when 25-year-old Charles Williams sped past him. Sweeney sped up beside the vehicle and hit the siren to get the driver’s attention, and flashed his hand with all five fingers up twice to signal “fifty-five,” attempting to indicate the speed limit. Williams waived back at the officer and continued to travel at 70 mph in the 55 mph zone. The officer then conducted a traffic stop and immediately smelled marijuana. He asked Williams if he had any marijuana in the car, to which he replied “no.” He then admitted he had “a blunt” in the vehicle, causing the officer to initiate a search. Upon being told his car was being searched, Williams further disclosed there was actually a half-pound of marijuana in his backpack. A search revealed 238.7 grams of marijuana, digital scales, plastic baggies, and cigarillos. Williams continued to speak to the Sergeant and admitted he had sold marijuana to “two people” in the last month.

Nashville Police charge Isaiah Yancey with 0.5 grams of marijuana during a traffic stop

24-year-old Isaiah ‘Zay’ Kahlil Yancey was booked on a citation this week after Metro Nashville Police found 0.5 grams of marijuana inside his gym bag during a traffic stop outside the Mercy Lounge on July 22nd for alleged expired tags. Officers say there was a “strong smell” of marijuana coming from the vehicle, and when asked, Yancy volunteered that there was a small amount of marijuana in the Altima.

Brad Price attempts to trade a $20 bill for his freedom from Metro Nashville Police

39-year-old Brad Price and his friend Cody Stout, who were both visiting from Ohio, were kicked out of a Broadway bar Saturday evening and returned later in the night, attempting to re-enter the bar while causing a disturbance with staff. Security alerted police, who attempted to place Price into custody for trespassing. He initially walked away from officers and then attempted to place a $20 bill in the pocket of the arresting officer in an attempt to walk away from the situation. During a search incident to arrest, a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine was located in a baggie in Price’s pocket.

DUI: Corey ‘Bow Wow’ Bean crashes into house on way to visit female in North Nashville at 4 AM #BecauseIGotHigh

37-year-old Corey Bean told police he was on his way to “visit a female” in North Nashville when he somehow crashed into a mailbox and a house on LaGrange Drive at 4 a.m. Wednesday, though he wasn’t sure how it happened. Though he admitted to drinking two shots of tequila around 11 p.m. the night before, officers say he and the vehicle reeked of marijuana and note he had red, droopy, bloodshot eyes upon their arrival. Officers located a roach and a bag of “Gusher” edibles inside the vehicle. Bean struggled to stay away on the way to the hospital, during the blood draw, and on the way to booking.
