Manager Christian Tyler named as McThief of downtown McDonald’s

21-year-old Christian Tyler is a manager at the McDonald’s on Broadway in downtown Nashville. Two weeks ago, he abruptly stopped showing up for work. At that same time, Grayco Management noticed multiple discrepancies in the store’s cash deposits made between April 7 and April 30. After reviewing security footage, Tyler was observed on four separate occasions concealing cash into his waistband instead of placing it into the Loomis safe. The total amount of the missing money was determined to be $5,589. The management company left him multiple messages to return the money, and he eventually blocked their number and never returned to work.

Joseph Glapion — too drunk to fly Southwest Airlines at BNA

44-year-old Joseph Glapion was jailed Saturday afternoon after cursing at a Southwest Airlines gate agent when he was denied boarding. Police responded to Nashville International Airport for a passenger who was too drunk to board. They observed Glapion yelling and cursing at the gate agent. Police could smell alcohol coming from him as he refused to leave after several opportunities were given and was eventually placed under arrest.

Justin McCabe charged with DUI after late-night crash on interstate

41-year-old Justin McCabe was booked early Sunday morning after police found his black 2019 Audi crashed into the guardrail on I-40 with significant front-end damage. Witnesses of the accident said the Audi was weaving in and out of traffic approaching exit 221A and initially struck the back of another vehicle. The occupants of the other vehicle were transported to Summit Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Police questioned McCabe for his side of the story, and he claimed ed that someone had hit him. He smelled of alcohol and was unsteady on his feet. McCabe had pinpoint pupils that didn’t respond to light or other stimuli. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and became uncooperative and angry when placed into handcuffs. He then refused to answer any further questions and demanded to speak to a lawyer. He was transported to booking after a mandatory blood draw was completed.

Christopher Tucker charged with spitting on a bouncer at Luke Bryan’s Bar in Nashville

23-year-old Christopher Tucker was booked on a citation this week, charging him with the assault of a bouncer at Luke Bryan’s Bar in downtown Nashville on April 21. Employees of the venue flagged down a Metro Nashville Police Officer when Tucker refused to leave the bar after he was being disorderly. He was threatening to fight both security and other patrons and had to be restrained. He reportedly spat on one of the employees, Jordyn Lockett, during the altercation.

James Morrissettie jailed after being drunk and disorderly in downtown Nashville

53-year-old James Morrissettie was jailed in the early hours of Sunday morning after causing a disturbance outside of Miranda Lambert’s bar in downtown Nashville. A witness, who was a Canadian firefighter, had to rip James off his girlfriend after the two engaged in a physical altercation. Both parties were extremely intoxicated and the victim wasn’t able to tell officers where she was. Neither party wanted to press any charges, and James was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Davy Huff charged with setting neighbor’s car on fire

32-year-old Davy Huff was booked this week after setting his neighbor’s car on fire. Cheri Frazier looked outside and saw her car on fire on April 15. She ran outside and was able to record a video of Huff walking away from her car with a gas can. She easily recognized him as he used to live in the apartment below her. His identity was verified by apartment management and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Tourist Timmy Ulinger — drunk and disorderly in downtown Nashville

22-year-old Timothy Ulinger was standing on the sidewalk in front of Tequila Cowboy Saturday night while holding and drinking an alcoholic beverage. Officers approached Ulinger and explained he could not drink alcohol on the public sidewalk. He continued to drink while looking at the officer but otherwise ignored him. He was unable to locate any friends to retrieve him and was too intoxicated to be left on his own. He eventually threw his drink onto the ground, splashing several people. He was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Jada Lucas booked after steaking costumes from the Spirit Halloween store

19-year-old Jada Lucas was booked this week on a citation from Oct 2022 after stealing from The Spirit Halloween store at Opry Mills Mall. Police spoke with the store manager Rebekah Westerlund who said she saw Lucas take two costumes from their packaging and hide them in her handbag. Lucas then left the store without paying. When the store manager confronted Lucas about the items, she removed them from her bag.

Joshua Davidson falls asleep behind wheel of car in White Castle drive-thru on Broadway

27-year-old Joshua Davidson was jailed Saturday morning after Nashville Fire Department found him asleep behind the wheel at the drive-through of the White Castle on Broadway. Police attempted to wake him several times before he responded and stumbled out of the vehicle. He smelled of alcohol and had to have an officer help him stay balanced. He had glassy eyes and dilated pupils. Davidson performed poorly on sobriety tests and refused blood and breath samples.

Caleb Eidlebach charged with second DUI after illegal u-turn

26-year-old Caleb Eidlebach was jailed Sunday afternoon when police saw him run a red light on Old Hickory Boulevard. Eidlebach came to a complete stop but then continued to run the red light and make a U-turn from the left lane of Dodson Chapel Road near Old Hickory Boulevard. Once pulled over, police saw several open containers of beer. Eidlebach told police he had been drinking earlier in the morning. He performed poorly on sobriety tests and was charged with DUI 2nd, as he was previously convicted of DUI in May 2016.
