19-year-old Jason Patterson had an altercation with his ex-girlfriend, Julianna Hobbs, in front of her Harper Ridge Place apartment on the afternoon of December 31st, 2023. Hobbs advised officers that she was with both witnesses, Ryder Hayes Peele and Joseph Herrell, when they believed Patterson was following them. They were in front of their residence when Patterson came from the apartment entrance when Hobbs told him to leave because she believed he was banned from the complex. Then, Patterson threatened to fight her before he left, causing her to be in fear of injury due to previous domestic incidents with Patterson. Hobbs showed officers a picture of him in front of her apartment, and they deemed him the primary aggressor. Patterson was taken into custody for domestic assault on February 18th.

Jalana Gift serves fists to her family after serving food to the homeless
18-year-old Jalana Gift reportedly assaulted family members after serving meals at the Nashville Rescue Mission on October 21st. Officers were dispatched to a parking lot near 6th Ave. S regarding a domestic disturbance. Danielle Brown spoke with officers as they arrived and told them that her stepdaughter, Gift, punched her in the jaw, causing her glasses to fly off as they were leaving the Nashville Rescue Mission. After the blow, Julianna Hobbs, a friend of the family, attempted to restrain Gift and was struck in the neck during the struggle. Gift’s stepbrother, Jason Patterson, sustained a hit in the head before he was able to subdue Gift. Brown stated that Gift fled the scene after being told that the police were being called. Gift was taken into custody on October 24th for two counts of domestic assault and one count of assault.
Teenage Roomate Rumble: Kyle Kitchen, Julianna Hobbs, & Eric Hutchenson Jr
19-year-old Kyle Kitchen, 18-year-old Julianna Hobbs, & 18-year-old Eric Hutchenson Jr were jailed early Saturday morning after multiple violent incidents occurred between the trio. Jason told police he was home hanging with friends when he and his ex-girlfriend Julianna got into an argument, and she struck him. Police asked him where she hit him at, but he couldn’t remember. According to Jason, after the incident with Juliana, Eric told him not to talk to Juliana like that and tried to punch him, but he ducked and dodged the hit and fell to the ground. Jason went to get back up, and Kyle entered the apartment, put Jason in a headlock for a short time, and then let go. Officers observed injuries to Jason’s cheek and neck consistent with the story. Eric returned to the scene to speak with the police and told them that Jason told him he was going to kill everyone, which allegedly led to the fight.
