Justin Miller hits roommate in mouth after argument over wifi

53-year-old Justin Miller was involved in an altercation with his roommate, Calvauna Easley, at their 22nd Avenue North residence on March 10th. When officers arrived at the mentioned location, they made contact with Easley, who stated that Miller got upset with her because he believed that she had turned off the wifi. According to Easley, the conversation escalated when Miller snatched her phone out of her hand. After he snatched her phone, he hit her across the mouth, causing blood under her bottom lip. Officers made contact with witnesses who corroborated all of Easley’s statements. Once officers encountered Miller, he admitted that he snatched the phone from Easley’s hand.

Duo charged with guns & drugs — Nicole Madden & Edwin Santiago

Nashville detectives on Thursday executed a narcotics-related search warrant at the residence of Nicole Madden (of Renee’s Cakes), 29, at 6625 Charlotte Pike, which resulted in the seizure of 58 marijuana plants, 42 grams of cocaine, three rifles, four handguns, hundreds of rounds of ammunition, and $4,050 cash.

Madden is charged with manufacturing marijuana, possession with intent to sell cocaine, and gun possession during the commission of a felony. She is jailed on a $55,000 bond. Detectives had been working to locate convicted felon (robbery) Edwin Santiago Jr., 42, when they saw him leaving Madden’s residence. Santiago was arrested on an outstanding federal gun charge stemming from his September 2021 arrest by MNPD detectives on a firearms charge.
