Officers determined to gather more information, but both individuals were very uncooperative and refused to give any more information. They began to yell at officers to “Arrest her!” but would not give any further information on what occurred or why. As officers began to speak with Yuede’s friend, Yuede yelled and screamed threats at the victim, while her friend ran up and smacked her in the face. Yuede was charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct for her drunken antics.

Cody Riggs jailed after refusing to leave the Lucky Bastard Saloon
32-year-old Cody Riggs was denied entry to the Lucky Bastard Saloon in downtown Nashville late Saturday night due to his already excessive state of intoxication. After being denied entry and making a second attempt, Metro Nashville Police officers were contacted and responded to the venue. They observed Riggs to be unsteady on his feet and given one more option to leave. Instead, he disagreed and attempted to enter the bar a third time. He was then taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

38-year-old Brian Hastreiter was kicked out of the Lucky Bastard Saloon in downtown Nashville in the early hours of Saturday morning for his disorderly behavior in the bar. He returned a title of three times, eventually causing security to alert Metro Nashville Police to have him trespassed and removed from the property. Officers arrived and took Hastreiter into custody and transported him to booking.

53-year-old Diane Thompson was observed by security staff at the Lucky Bastard Saloon in downtown Nashville as she was stumbling and bumping into other patrons due to her extreme level of intoxication. She was escorted out of the venue and onto the sidewalk, where she caught the attention of officers working the Entertainment District. She was unable to stand up straight and slurred her speech to the point that she was not understandable. She was taken into custody for public intoxication and transported to booking.
Ateet Upadhyaya resists arrest after causing disturbance in downtown Nashville
Metro Nashville Police encountered a very intoxicated 35-year-old Ateet Upadhyaya outside the Lucky Bastard Saloon in downtown Nashville on January 15 as he was repeatedly walking over to a group of strangers and interrupting their evening and being a general annoyance. Officers noted if his behavior didn’t stop, a fight would likely break out. Ateet walked away a few feet and then reached both hands out and grabbed two random individuals by their necks, assaulting them. Officers attempted to gain control of Ateet to place him into custody and eventually had to pin him against a wall to gain compliance.

He attempted to re-enter the establishment, at which time Officer Sizemore told him he could not re-enter, and he grabbed the police officer’s shoulder with both hands and pushed him backward. He was transported to booking, charged with disorderly conduct, and is free on pre-trial release.

Metro Nashville Police say highly intoxicated 30-year-old William Spielberg hid in the stairwell at Lucky Bastard Saloon in downtown Nashville, and when an employee was walking up the stairwell just before closing early Monday morning, Spielberg unleashed the spray of the extinguisher onto the employee. Spielberg was charged with public intoxication and booked into the Metro Nashville Jail.

As a young woman walked alone in Midtown late Monday evening, she says a man began to “cat all” her, and as she continued past him she says he firmly grabbed her arm. As she began to fight back, he reportedly told her he was going to rape her. She was able to break away from the man, identified as 30-year-old Patrick Schiebel, and flee to a nearby apartment building with a visible concierge who let her inside and called 911. Metro Nashville Police officers located the man but refused to charge him themselves since they didn’t witness it. MNPD escorted the victim to night court, where a magistrate signed a simple assault private prosecution warrant. The tourist was jailed for 153 minutes before being given pre-trial release and set free, despite a magistrate setting his bond at $10,000.
