Josie Brown charged with kicking police officer

20-year-old Josie Brown was detained at Vanderbilt Medical Center for disorderly conduct and was cited for assault on an officer on July 6th. The officer reported that while they were attempting to stop another person, Josie kicked them in their thigh. The officer reported they were approximately three feet away from Josie when she kicked him. She was taken to Vanderbilt for her increasingly irate behavior. Josie was booked on the citation this week.

Mattilyn Brewer slaps ex-boyfriend in face after entering his home

19-year-old OnlyFans content creator Mattilyn ‘Mattie’ Brewer entered her ex-boyfriend’s residence and reportedly went into his bedroom to look for a friend’s belongings on August 14th. Will Tubbs, her ex-boyfriend, told police that she arrived at the residence, and they then argued, and Mattilyn slapped him in the face. Mattilyn admitted to the police that she slapped him during the argument and regretted her actions. She was determined to be the primary aggressor and was issued a summons for domestic assault. She was booked on that citation this week.

Darrin Langston charged with assaulting stepmother at Opry Mills Mall

20-year-old Darrin Langston was detained by Opry Mills Mall security after he pushed his stepmother during an argument. The police spoke to the stepmother, Andrea Young, who said the argument started after Darrin was upset at his father. The push left a red mark on her chest and hit her 9-year-old daughter in the back, causing a red mark. Darrin admitted striking the child but said he did not push Andrea. A witness, Christy Perry, told police that she did not know any of the parties involved but saw the entire incident. She said that she saw Darrin push Andrea and hit the 9-year-old girl.

Shantonia Gwin says he can talk to Black women however he wants

41-year-old Shantonia Gwin reportedly made sexually inappropriate comments and threats toward Southwest Airlines staff on September 1st after 10 p.m. Police arrived, and Shantonia was not present but was found a short distance away. They identified Shantonia by his Kentucky Driver’s license, and Shantonia told them that he lost his bag at Southwest and wished to retrieve it. Police escorted Shantonia to Southwest baggage, where they met Timothy Kiernon, who said he wanted to press charges against Shantonia for assault. Timothy told police that Shantonia came to baggage service visibly intoxicated and cussed at the employees. Also, he said, “He can talk to the b*/ches any way he wants because they are black.” He left and returned several times to the baggage service, threatening to physically harm Timothy. Police arrested Shantonia for assault against Timothy via his reports and willingness to prosecute.

Andrew Larson bites wife during argument

36-year-old Andrew Larson admitted to biting his wife in their RV home outside Quality Inn Motel during an argument on September 1st. Police arrived at Quality Inn on Music Valley Dr to speak to the wife, Christina Emanus, about the domestic disturbance. She told police that she and Andrew lived in the RV together, and they had argued earlier. During the argument, Andrew began pushing her. She said she put her arms up in self-defense, but Andrew bit her right arm. After he bit her, he stepped outside to separate the two of them. Police observed a bite mark on Christina’s right upper arm.

Jacob Long has world’s worst luck at avoiding traffic stop

20-year-old Jacob Long refused to pull over after an MNPD officer flashed lights and blew a siren to initiate a traffic stop on 24th Ave for expired tags. Driving a gray Chevy Malibu, Jacob turned down an alleyway between Dowlan St. and Hyde St. after traveling on Dowlan St. While the officer followed Jacob down the alley, he sounded his air horn several times. At the end of the alleyway, blocking Logan’s path to 25th Ave, was an undercover police vehicle. Logan, once he made it to the end of the alley, honked his horn to try and get the undercover vehicle to move. At this time, Sgt. White exited his vehicle with a duty pistol brandished at Logan’s vehicle. Logan then complied with the traffic stop, and police found his license to be suspended.

Akeem Daily charged with harassing his ex-girlfriend

30-year-old Akeem Daily was jailed this week after his ex-girlfriend, Renee Liberk, told police he would not stop texting and calling her. She is currently pregnant with his child, but the two are no longer in a relationship. Daily has a new girlfriend, who is also pregnant with his child. He has reportedly sent daily texts and calls that are rude and disrespectful, along with vague threats such as, “Wait till I see you, you’ll find out.”

Logan Shane Combs charged with DUI in downtown Nashville

31-year-old Logan Shane Combs was found asleep inside his Jeep Wrangler, having urinated on himself and recently vomited by police Monday morning. The key to the Jeep was on the passenger seat, and Logan smelled strongly of alcohol. Once awakened, Logan told police that he was waiting for a friend to pick him up since he knew he could not drive. He told them he had five to six shots and showed the police the text messages where he asked his friend to pick him up. The friend did not reply to his texts nor answer when called. Video footage showed Logan entering his vehicle around 10:45 p.m. and staying until police contacted him. Logan was placed into custody and vomited while in the patrol vehicle. He refused to speak under Miranda, perform sobriety tests, or provide a breath sample. He has no history of DUIs.

Shaun Murphy slaps MNPD Officer in face & calls him derogatory names

45-year-old Shaun Murphy walked up to MNPD Officer Tucker on Sunday on Broadway and slapped him. Shaun was placed into custody by Officer Tucker, who said that the slap was not hard but was intentional. While in the patrol vehicle, he apologized for the slap and called the officers derogatory names. Police reported that there was a strong odor of alcohol emitting from Shaun. Shaun was arrested for assault after his obscene and vulgar drunken tirades, as well as his slapping of an officer.
