Man says Filip Cukic brutally beat him in downtown Nashville

23-year-old Murfreesboro man Filip Cukic and another man were in a verbal altercation with a third person near 3rd & Broadway just before 3 a.m. Saturday. Officers are flagged down as the altercation turned physical. Corbin Felts and Nathaniel O’Neill both witnessed the escalating fight, as the pair began to brutally beat the victim, Eugene Buckley. The two witnesses pulled the two assailants away from the victim as they punched and kicked him in the head. The victim, who had a major injury to his face, stated he had confronted two men who were harassing a woman, and they brutally attacked him. The victim declined to press charges, and Filip was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct.

Murfreesboro Man charged with BUI on Percy Priest Lake — Gary Patterson

60-year-old Gary Patterson was operating a boat on Percy Priest Lake late Saturday night with its docking lights on. This attracted the attention of TWRA Agent Joshua Landrum, who stopped the vessel. He immediately observed a Michelob Ultra in a cup holder by the driver’s console, and he noticed that Patterson was visibly intoxicated. Patterson stated they had been eating and listening to music at Elm Hill Marina and were en route back to Fate Sanders Marina. He admitted to “having a couple” of alcoholic drinks and then performed poorly on field sobriety tests. 

Richard Shaver charged with stomping brother-in-law’s face on roadway

26-year-old Richard Shaver reportedly pulled his brother-in-law, Jeremy Rider, from the back seat of a vehicle into the front seat, and when the vehicle stopped, he pulled him out onto the road and stomped on him. They had been out drinking, along with Richard’s girlfriend and Jeremy’s wife, and an argument erupted after Shaver said something about the family. The victim suffered severe swelling to his left eye and face, a black eye, and scrapes along both legs.

Housekeeper Christianna Bush steals bag with laptop from room at Nashville hotel

28-year-old Christianna Bush was jailed this week on an outstanding warrant charging her with felony theft. Police say she was working as a housekeeper at a hotel in June of 2021 when she stole a bag from a guest room containing a Laptop, networking equipment, earbuds, and clothing. Security video shows her exiting the room with the bag on her supply cart and later exiting the building with the bag.

Wayne Seagraves charged with DUI after midtown motorcycle crash

46-year-old Carl Wayne Seagraves crashed his Harley-Davidson motorcycle at the intersection of 8th & Demonbreun on November 9th. When police arrived, they overheard Seagraves ask his friend, “Am I going to get a DUI?” Officers observed him to be visibly intoxicated and with slurred speech. He refused all sobriety tests and was transported to the hospital for a leg injury. A search warrant was granted for his blood. Due to being treated medically, he was issued a state citation for DUI and was booked on that citation this week.

DUI: Vitalina Holder white girl wasted on White Claws

Officers were on Percy Drive on another unrelated call when they came in contact with 36-year-old Vitalina Yegorov Holder, who was standing beside her Silver Mercedes, which was parked with the engine running. Officers immediately noticed her slurred speech and the smell of alcohol. She admitted to drinking “two White Claws” prior to driving. She was reportedly so intoxicated that field sobriety tests had to be stopped for her own safety. Inside her car was an opened case of White Claw seltzer drinks with two open cans nearby. She would later blow a 0.147% BAC on a breathalyzer, as she found out there are, in fact, still laws when drinking Claws — something she should have known, as she’s married to local attorney Chris Holder.

DUI: Cher’ron Teague blows 0.176% BAC after crash, claims she drank “one beer”

28-year-old Cher’ron Teague was found asleep behind the wheel of a crashed car on I-65 North. As first responders awakened her to get her out of the vehicle, she was unsteady on her feet, had slurred speech, and reeked of alcohol. Teague stated she drank “one beer” earlier in the night. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests and blew a 0.176% BAC on a breathalyzer.

DUI: Jazmyn Turner says she smoked marijuana prior to crash, police say she reeked of perfume & alcohol

27-year-old Jazmyn Turner is charged with DUI after crashing her Chevy Malibu on Bell Road in the early hours of Wednesday morning with a passenger in the vehicle. Officers say she smelled of alcohol and very strong perfume. She says she only smoked marijuana prior to driving — but the DUI charge is identical for either substance. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was taken into custody.
