Steffie Misner Wampler charged in road rage incident after attacking a car with her fists

Police say 38-year-old Steffie Misner Wampler was in a road rage incident with another motorist on June 14th on Centennial Blvd. She pulled alongside another vehicle that was now parked in the parking lot of a Dollar General. She began screaming and yelling at the other driver, claiming the victim cut her off in traffic. She then exited her 2013 Toyota Prius and began to bang on his vehicle with her fists, causing significant damage to his rear quarter panel. The victim recorded the incident, which was viewed by police. She was issued a citation for vandalism, which she was booked on this week.

Amanda Hill charged with shoplifting from Target

35-year-old Amanda Hill was booked this week on a citation charging her with theft/shoplifting from Target. Police say on June 14, she entered the Target on White Bridge Pike, filled up a shopping cart with various items, and attempted to push it out the door without paying for any of the merchandise. She confessed to the theft when asked by officers.

Lindsey Mulligan charged with shoplifting from Target

36-year-old Lindsey Mulligan was booked this week on a citation charging her with theft/shoplifting. Police responded to the Target on White Bridge Pike on June 13, where loss prevention already had Mulligan detained for secreting items in her purse with the intention of not paying for them. She agreed to speak with officers and admitted that she placed items in her bag with the intent of stealing them.

DUI: Thomas Brown falls asleep behind the wheel at gas station

27-year-old Thomas Brown was jailed on July 9th after falling asleep behind the wheel at the Shell gas station on West End Avenue. When police arrived, Brown was asleep in the driver’s seat with the keys on the ground next to him. There was a slight odor of alcohol coming from his breath, and he had red, watery eyes. Brown agreed to sobriety testing but performed poorly. He was transported to General Hospital for a blood draw and then to booking.

Jeffery Brewington assaults girlfriend with laptop

38-year-old Jeffery Brewington was jailed on July 10th after throwing a laptop at his girlfriend’s head as she snuck into her apartment on Welshwood Drive. Tamaira Willingham told police that she arrived at her apartment after working a long day and saw her boyfriend in front of her apartment drunk, so she intentionally took an alternate route to get into her unit so he wouldn’t see her. According to Tamaira, as she was unlocking her door, Brewigton threw a laptop at her face, which knocked her glasses off and cut her eyelid. She then let him into her apartment to talk. Brewington initially stated that he threw the laptop out of frustration but never admitted that it hit her, but later on, he told the police that he was scared after he threw the laptop at her because it made her bleed. Brewington was arrested and transported to booking.

Shacoyit Horton charged in harassment of baby daddy’s new baby mama

35-year-old Shacoyit Horton was jailed Tuesday on an outstanding warrant charging her with harassment. She and the victim, Marquinta Johnson, have children with a common father. Marquinta produced text messages from Horton that stated she would send her daughter over to “dog walk your fat ass.” Horton then posted on Facebook that she was “flip her ass,” and that she was “not afraid of doing time.” Please say in a prior incident, Horton drove her vehicle into another vehicle that Johnson was riding in and then drove up onto the curb to chase her as she ran.

Ryan Taugher charged in felony aggravated assault of influencer girlfriend, McKinli Hatch

29-year-old Ryan Christopher Taugher was jailed in Nashville early Wednesday morning for the domestic assault of his social media influencer girlfriend, McKinli Hatch. There was an initial argument Tuesday night after Ryan became intoxicated and reportedly hit McKinli. She says he then tossed her clothes around the home and threw a piece of frozen candy at her. Still intoxicated, Ryan then threw a glass bottle at McKinli, which shattered across her buttocks, causing injuries and bleeding. She ran outside and called 911 and stated she had been hit and was being chased, but seconds later, he grabbed the phone and disconnected the call.

Officers responded to the hang-up call, but Ryan pulled her into the bushes, where they successfully hid from officers. The officers knocked on the door, but no one responded, so they pulled around the corner. Once they left the immediate area, he escorted her back into the home and threw her into a room. Due to their past, she was afraid she would be assaulted if she attempted to leave. He then made her text her family and tell them she was OK, as she had previously texted them for help. He then forced her to change out of her bloody clothing. She found a moment to escape out the front door, and he chased her as she screamed. The nearby officers heard the screaming and observed Ryan holding her as she struggled when they approached. The parties were separated, and Ryan Taugher was taken into custody
