56-year-old Timothy Davis was cited for reportedly assaulting a woman on Thompson Lane on August 16th. She told the police that she was trying to get information from Timothy. Timothy then, she continued, decided to hit her in the head several times. Police observed no injuries to the woman, but she said she wished to prosecute. Timothy was booked on the assault citation on September 5th.

Dylan Pounds charged after traveling at 101 mph in Ford Focus
23-year-old Dylan Pounds was cited for reckless driving on August 11th. A police officer clocked Dylan in his 2010 Ford Focus on a radar doing 101 miles per hour in the fast lane passing vehicles. The officer pulled him over due to his speed having the potential to cause serious injury to himself or others. He was booked on the charge this week.
John Carey charged with shoplifting from Target in West Nashville
35-year-old John Carey was cited for shoplifting from the Target on White Bridge Pike on August 27th around 5:33 p.m. Police arrived at the Target and spoke to John. Reportedly, he returned $364.42 worth of stolen merchandise from Target after leaving with it. He was issued a citation, and was booked on that theft citation this week.
Thomas Gleaves cited for marijuana possession
27-year-old Thomas Gleaves was seen by police in the passenger seat of a gray Nissan Altima parked at The Flats on Water Edge after they smelled marijuana on August 2nd. Police drove past the vehicle during their extra patrols and noticed Thomas in the vehicle. They approached the vehicle to speak to Thomas after Lyric Moore exited the driver’s side and noticed the marijuana in the center console. At this time, Lyric returned to the vehicle, and neither she nor Thomas claimed ownership of the marijuana. Police reported that Lyric and Thomas were in constructive possession of the marijuana, but no paraphernalia was found. Thomas qualified for a citation because she has no history of failure to appear or book.

Zoey Sovereign steals mother’s bank card to buy alcohol
22-year-old Zoey Sovereign was in a Nashville hotel with her mother on September 1 when her mother woke up to find Zoey was gone and her purse had been opened, with her credit card missing. She was located at a nearby Mapco, where she had purchased alcohol and attempted to get into a vehicle with two men, who pushed her out of their car. She was visibly intoxicated and unable to care for herself. She refused to return back to the hotel room and was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.
Danielle N. Marx jailed after waking boyfriend up by punching him in face, per report
40-year-old Danielle N. Marx woke her ex-boyfriend up by punching him in the face, according to what he told police when they arrived at the residence on Thursday morning. The ex-boyfriend, Eric Schwieterman, told police there is tension between them because they are going through a breakup. Police reported that there was bruising around Eric’s eye. Eric said that he pushed her and left the apartment after she punched him. Danielle told the police that nothing physical happened between her and Eric. The police told Danielle they would arrest her for domestic assault, and she began changing her story several times, stating that she was attacked. She had no visible injuries, but Eric did, so she was determined to be the primary aggressor.
Shannon Furlough punches boyfriend’s nose, bites his shoulder during argument
On Tuesday, 43-year-old Shannon Furlough was seen arguing with her boyfriend, Michael Connors, in the lobby of Sentral SoBro by security. The security told police that he followed Shannon and Michael upstairs to their floor to contact them. The police knocked on their door several times before Michael answered and told them that he and Shannon argued. He also said that she hit him in the nose, causing it to bleed, and bit his shoulder. Police noticed blood in the loft from his nose, and Michael said he did not wish for the police to intervene and get Shannon in trouble. Shannon arrived back at the loft while the police spoke to Michael, with blood at the top of her head. She told police that she did not know where Michael received his injuries and that they only argued. Also, she said that she only returned to the loft to gather her belongings and leave. Police determined she was the primary aggressor, so she was arrested for domestic assault.
Morgan Batson smashes beer bottle toward ex, leaving him wet and blood-covered
25-year-old Morgan Batson’s ex-boyfriend, Stephen Thomas, told police that Morgan showed up at Lakeside Lounge when she recognized his vehicle outside on Monday night. He said she threw a bottle at him, but it missed, shattering against the wall and covering him with the contents. He said Morgan then picked up the glass from the shattered bottle, cutting her hand and flinging the blood at Thomas. Police observed blood on the front of Thomas’ shirt, consistent with his story. The bartender told police she saw the incident and described it similarly to Thomas’ account. Thomas suffered no injuries, and Morgan promptly left in her vehicle after the incident, and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
Josie Brown charged with kicking police officer
20-year-old Josie Brown was detained at Vanderbilt Medical Center for disorderly conduct and was cited for assault on an officer on July 6th. The officer reported that while they were attempting to stop another person, Josie kicked them in their thigh. The officer reported they were approximately three feet away from Josie when she kicked him. She was taken to Vanderbilt for her increasingly irate behavior. Josie was booked on the citation this week.
