Corey Atkinson charged in assault of fiancèe while drunk with a handgun

24-year-old Corey Atkinson reportedly punched his fiancè in the face multiple times in the basement garage of 501 Commerce building Saturday morning, three witnesses told security. Security for the building told police that his fiancèe, Haylee Hall, said that Corey placed a handgun into her vehicle. The three witnesses attested to seeing Corey hit Haylee. Corey told police that he had consumed alcohol earlier in the evening and denied engaging in physical altercations with her, nor did he know of any weapon. Police observed a large amount of marijuana in Haylee’s vehicle and conducted a search. Inside the vehicle, they found a weapon under the driver’s seat. Corey and Haylee had dried blood on their lips. Corey said that their injuries happened after they drunkenly fell on the ground. He reportedly had visible signs of intoxication and struggled to answer simple questions. His speech patterns were erratic, police stated, and they arrested him for public intoxication.

Tourist Zackary Mack tosses wife into hotel closet after assault

41-year-old Zackary Mack was jailed on Saturday after police responded to a 911 hang-up. A call text stated, “Female voice, get out! Hit me.” When officers arrived at the Westin on Clark Place, security brought Kathryn Lett to the lobby. She told officers that she and her husband only argued and nothing physical happened. When officers contacted Mack, he had a welt under his left eye with a small cut. Officers asked Mack how he got the welt on his face, and he stated vaguely that his wife threw something at him. After interviewing Lett, she disclosed that Mack got in her face during the argument and began to place his hands around her neck, strangling her while throwing her onto the bed. Lett stated they struggled before she hit Mack in an attempt to get him off her. Mack proceeded to throw Lett into the hotel room closet. Lett was then able to break free and alert the hotel security. Officers saw a mark around Lett’s neck and determined that Mack was the aggressor before arresting him.

Sadonia Kertchaval jailed after drunken fighting in downtown Nashville

33-year-old Sadonia Kertchaval was jailed on September 23rd after police responded to a call regarding a shoplifter at a convenience store on Lafayette Street. When police arrived, they observed Kertchaval and multiple others threatening to fight one another. Officers detained Kertchaval to keep her from fighting, but she continued to make threats and lunge at people until she was placed in the back of the patrol vehicle. Officers could smell alcohol coming from Kertchaval, and she advised that she had a few drinks before the incident. The officers told her they would let her go if she left the area with her friend and advised that she would be arrested if she tried to fight the people around her. She agreed, and the officers took the handcuffs off of her. As soon as she was uncuffed, she immediately walked past her friend’s car and toward the people around her to try to fight once again. Her friend had to hold her back. She was then placed into custody and transported to booking.

Kathleen Condon jailed after hands-free traffic stop reveals her license is suspended

33-year-old Kathleen Condon was driving on I-65 North Friday when THP Trooper Keith Velez observed her swerving while holding a cell phone in her hand. He initiated a traffic stop due to the violation of the hands-free law, and she pulled her red Ford Escape to the right shoulder of the roadway. When asked for her license and registration, she advised her license was suspended out of Washington state. Dispatch confirmed it was suspended in October due to a DUI conviction. She was taken into custody and transported to booking.

Kelsey Musick charged with DUI after driving without a tire

35-year-old Kelsey Musick was the driver of a vehicle blocking traffic on Conference Drive near State Auto on September 22nd. Police noticed the vehicle had a front driver-side tire missing, and the back driver-side tire was deflated. Also, a long engraved line was in the roadway leading up to Kelsey’s vehicle. At this time, a woman came up and told police that she believed that the driver, Kelsey, was intoxicated. Police found Kelsey next to the vehicle, unsteady on her feet and with the odor of alcohol emitting from her breath. Kelsey performed poorly on the sobriety tests, and she agreed to provide a blood sample. Police transported her to General Hospital for a blood draw and then to booking.

DUI: Conor Coleman says he had “25 drinks” prior to crashing his vehicle

21-year-old Conor Coleman told police he had “25 alcoholic beverages” late Friday night before they found him crashed in his vehicle on Sylvan Heights at 8:45 a.m. Saturday. He elaborated that the drinks were a mixture of beer and vodka before deciding he no longer wanted to speak to officers. He refused all testing and was taken into custody, charged with driving under the influence.

Spectator Lytle Allen jailed for attending car sideshow event in Antioch as a bystander

20-year-old Lytle Allen was one of several street racers jailed Saturday night after a meetup on Logistics Way. Officers stated they had been following the group all night in an attempt to break it up as they continued to change locations. A group of 50-100 people remained when officers arrived at the Amazon property in Antioch, and they were spinning in the pit, placing multiple people in danger, according to police. Metro Nashville Police admit that Allen “did not actively participate in such behavior” himself, but stood in the proximity of such actions with other people.” He was taken into custody and charged with rioting for his participation as a spectator.

Sydney Kendall jailed after tossing bottles at Play Dance Bar, kicking officer in groin at booking

27-year-old Sydney Kendall was at Play Dance Bar on Church Street in the early hours of Saturday morning when she left the club, got into her vehicle, and began to throw liquor bottles from her car toward other vehicles in the parking lot. Security altered MNPD, who approached Kendall, causing her to put the car in reverse in an attempt to flee. She eventually stopped the vehicle, exited, and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. Though initially agreeing to take a breathalyzer, once she was at booking she refused to comply with any testing. As she returned from the breathalyzer room, Kendall became irate and shoved officers. She dropped to the floor, kicked one officer in the groin, and pulled on their gear as she was being held against the wall.

Drunken tourist Callen Seibold believes Bridgestone Arena is his hotel in Las Vegas

24-year-old Callen Seibold told police he believed the Bridgestone Arena was the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas and was extremely upset when he could not gain entry to the building to get to his hotel room in the early hours of Saturday morning. Seibold was visibly intoxicated and could not locate his phone or anyone to care for him. With no remaining options, he was taken into custody and transported to booking, where he was charged with public intoxication.

Tabitha Tamberlin attempts to steal man’s dog; says he “doesn’t deserve it”

32-year-old Tabitha Tamberlin was jailed in Nashville late Saturday night after drunkenly attempting to steal a man’s dog outside Kid Rock’s bar in downtown Nashville. The victim told police that Tamberlin approached him outside of the bar and wanted to pet his dog, which he allowed. As she was petting the pooch, she attempted to pick up the dog and flee. He contacted nearby police, who detained everyone to investigate the situation. Tamberlin told police she felt the man “didn’t deserve the dog” and felt the dog was endangered, so she was taking it. The victim didn’t wish to prosecute; he only wanted her to leave him alone. Due to her intoxicated state, Tamberlin was given the opportunity to call someone to retrieve her, but she refused to leave and insisted on taking the man’s dog. She was taken into custody and transported to booking.
