Karstea Johnson charged with selling beer to a minor during Predators game at Bridgestone

28-year-old Karstea Johnson sold a Michelob Ultra to a confidential informant with the Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission (TABC), who presented an ID stating their age as 19, which Johnson visually checked. A special agent witnessed the sale, which occurred during the Nashville Predators hockey game on December 13, and issued a citation to Johnson for the crime. She was booked on that citation this week.

Predators executive Jason Oxford found slumped over wheel after “two beers” at hockey game

48-year-old Jason Raymond Oxford was sitting at a traffic light at a Rivergate intersection and nodded off while parked in the lane. The car behind him was a Goodlettsville Police Officer, who pulled alongside Oxford to check on him after he sat through two light cycles. He observed Oxford slumped over the wheel asleep. Another officer arrived, and they blocked the vehicle from the front and back and then woke Oxford. He stated he had “two beers” at the Nashville Predators Hockey game, and officers confirmed he reeked of alcohol. On the floorboard, officers also located a pill bottle with marijuana inside. Oxford is the Director of Corporate Development for the Nashville Predators.

DUI: Christopher Atwood blows double BAC limit after nearly hitting MNPD patrol car while speeding

Police say 25-year-old Christopher Atwood was driving his 2006 Buick Rendezvous over 60 mph in a 40 mph zone in South Nashville after a Predators game this week. At one point he swerved so far into another lane he nearly struck a marked MNPD patrol car. Atwood admitted to drinking several beers while attending the hockey game and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. Atwood blew a 0.176% BAC on a breathalyzer.

Michael Ozzy charged with resisting arrest after being bounced from Predators Game at Bridgestone Arena

24-year-old Michael Ozzy was recording a hockey game at Bridgestone Area when he was asked to stop the activity. He reportedly continued as was eventually asked to leave the game due to not following the house rules. He left to appease security, then returned right back to the property. When officers explained he was under arrest for criminal trespass he fled. He was apprehended after a short foot pursuit, near 7th Ave & Broadway. Police say he pulled away and resisted arrest.
