Sarah Pence charged with DUI, says she took Adderall but not alcohol

Police say 34-year-old Sarah Pence couldn’t keep her Kia Soul between the lines late Monday night as she drove on Long Hollow Pike. She drove almost to the middle of an intersection at a red traffic light and continued to cross both lines as an officer followed behind her. A traffic stop was initiated and Pence declared she was unaware she was driving erratically or incorrectly. She performed poorly on subsequent field sobriety tests and consented to a blood draw. She stated they would find Adderall in her system.

Nurse Jazmine Russell leaves boyfriend with injuries after domestic assault

29-year-old Jazmine Nicole Russell is charged with domestic assault with bodily injury of her boyfriend of two years, Seth Larson, after a neighbor called police about the commotion coming from their apartment. Police separated both parties, and Seth explained he was in bed and Jazmine was in the living room when she went through her phone and became upset, accusing him of lying. She then began to strike his back and neck, leaving visible injuries. Jazmine told police she only grabbed him to keep him from walking away when she talked to him. Though Seth did dot not want to prosecute, due to the injuries and the domestic relationship, Jazmine was determined to be the primary aggressor and taken into custody.

Metro Nashville Police received multiple calls about a man running on the interstate and in front of semi-trucks traveling at full speed. Officers arrived to find 23-year-old Colby Daugherty, who explained he had just left the Kevin Gates concert and was “walking back to a friend’s house,” but when asked for the address, he responded, “I have no idea!” Daughtery refused all medical treatment and was visibly intoxicated and unable to care for himself. He was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.

Nashville Police win showdown with St. Thomas Midtown Nurses in an attempt to arrest patient — Annie Moore

Metro Nashville Police say a St. Thomas Midtown Emergency Department Nurse called officers to have her patient’s spouse arrested for assault, but when it became apparent the pregnant patient, 30-year-old Annie Moore, was the actual assailant, the Emergency Department nurses put a ‘social services’ delay on her discharge in an attempt to delay her arrest, with officers stating the nurses were upset they did not carry out the outcome they desired when they placed the call to police.

Drunk Milwaukee Nurse takes Nashville Police officer to the ground — Julie Elliot arrested

32-year-old Milwaukee Nurse Julie Elliot was causing a scene at the Hilton Hotel in downtown Nashville just after last-call Thursday morning. Police say she was extremely intoxicated and causing a commotion in the lobby. Police confirmed she was not a guest, but had been stumbling on Broadway and concerned citizens walked her to the Hilton lobby. She walked away as police encountered her, reeking of alcohol and barely able to walk. She told officers she was walking in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Due to her extreme intoxication and inability to care for herself, officers began to take her into custody for public intoxication. Elliot resisted, pulled away, and attempted to break free. Once cuffed, and as she was being escorted to the patrol car, she wrapped one of her legs around the front of MNPD Officer Blake Lutz’s right leg and then wrapped her other leg around the back of his right leg, causing them both to fall onto the ground, ripping his pants, and injuring his right knew. She continued to grapple as they attempted to place her into a patrol car.

Nashville Nurse found pantsless & shoeless; too drunk for downtown Nashville — Noah Wallis

23-year-old Noah Wallis was found pantsless and shoeless in a downtown Nashville parking lot in the middle of the afternoon on Saturday. Metro Nashville Police report he was sitting between two vehicles, one of which he had vomited on and caused a large dent in the side of, all while officers noted he “didn’t seem to notice he was missing his shoes and pants”, which were later found thrown in nearby bushes. Wallis stated he had “drank way too much and was just drunk”. He was charged with vandalism and public intoxication, and transported to booking. He is free on pre-trial release.

Broadway bars claim another tourist in the big city — Amanda Girard charged with public intoxication

Metro Nasvhille Police found 37-year-old tourist Amanda Girard sitting on a downtown sidewalk crying for an unknown reason. She stated she had been out drinking while celebrating a friend’s birthday. Observing that she was entirely too intoxicated to care for herself, police offered her a medical ride to the hospital, transport to her hotel, or to assist her in finding her friends – all of which she explicitly refused. Officers noted she was belligerent with them during the entire interaction, making threats to them and other citizens downtown. After all other options were exhausted, she was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.
