Anthony Flores attempts to direct traffic on Broadway, told police he was “on post at Fort Campbell”

33-year-old Anthony Flores was booked on March 17th for assaulting a man at Shake Shack on Broadway Place. Michael Bahr stated that while he was waiting for a friend, he observed Flores, who was highly intoxicated, attempting to direct traffic. Flores told Bahr to move along and was becoming angry that he wouldn’t move. Flores then kicked Bahr’s driver’s side door, causing visible damage. Bahr stepped out of his vehicle to try to stop Flores. Flores became aggressive and punched the glasses off Bahr’s face, leaving him with a bloody nose.

When officers asked Flores for his side of the story he stood at “parade rest” stance and thought he was on post at Fort Campbell. Flores told officers that he had been drinking but not too much. Flores was visibly intoxicated and smelled of alcohol. Flores was then taken into custody. Flores fell asleep on the way to booking but told officers he was “looking at the scenery.”

Barak Hammond shoves APS employee into street in Downtown Nashville

27-year-old Barak Bell Hammond tried to cross the street while traffic was moving in downtown Nashville late March 16th. An APS employee observed this and tried to stop Hammond from crossing the street. Hammond then shoved the APS employee, causing him to fall backward. While the APS employee was on the ground, a vehicle ran over his foot. The APS employee flagged officers down and informed them about the incident, adding that he did not wish to prosecute for the shove. When officers met with Hammond, he showed multiple signs of impairment, so he was deemed a danger to himself and others. Hammond was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

19-Year-Old James Carroll drunkenly argues with pedestrians on Broadway

19-year-old James Patrick Carroll argued with pedestrians as they passed by in front of Whiskey River on Broadway late March 16th. When officers located Carroll, he reeked of alcohol, exhibiting numerous signs of impairment. Carroll stated that he was alone and did not know what hotel he was staying at. Carroll was deemed unable to care for himself and then was taken into custody for public intoxication and underage drinking.

Parker Schram jailed after letting it flow in front of Barstool Sports Nashville

Police say 32-year-old Parker Schram was in the process of urinating on the sidewalk in front of Barstool Sports in downtown Nashville late March 15th. A crowd outside the bar could observe the exposed member attempting to perform its duty. Schram disregarded an officer’s commands to stop and continued about his business. Schram was taken into custody for public intoxication, and it was noted he was visibly intoxicated and unable to tell officers where he was or who he was with.

Thomas Perry deemed too drunk for Broadway

55-year-old Thomas Perry was jailed on March 14th after police responded to the area of 2nd Ave and Broadway for disorderly behavior. Officers observed Perry to have slurred speech, watery red eyes, and the odor of alcohol emitting from his body. Perry was unsteady on his feet as he admitted to drinking two beers and smoking marijuana recently. Due to Perry’s obvious state of extreme intoxication, officers determined he was a danger to himself and placed him into custody.

Troy Davern resists arrest after getting into drunken fight on Division Street

26-year-old Troy Davern was one of three individuals allegedly involved in a fight near 18th Avenue and Division Street in the early hours of March 14th. When officers arrived to investigate, they were flagged down by a bystander, who pointed out Davern in a nearby alley as he attempted to flee. Officers commanded Davern to stop, but he ignored them, continuing to run away. It wasn’t until an officer in a marked unit hindered Davern from escaping the alley that he willingly stopped. Officers detained him and noticed he showed multiple signs of impairment, reeking of alcohol with blood on his face and clothes from the alleged scuffle. Davern was then taken into custody for resisting arrest and public intoxication.

Milton Morocho-Zhunio drunkenly wanders onto Nashville International Airport airfield

32-year-old Milton Morocho-Zhunio was stopped by TSA in front of Gate D3 at Nashville International Airport on March 12th. When officers arrived, they located and noticed him showing numerous signs of impairment. Morocho-Zhunio admitted to drinking, and when officers asked him how he was able to access the secured movement area of the airfield, he replied, “Uber” and “The bus.” Officers then reviewed footage of Morocho-Zhunio taking the elevator to the ramp level and wandering through the secured area until TSA stopped him. Morocho-Zhunio was taken into custody for public intoxication and an air security violation.

Drunk and Naked: Damien Newman refuses to leave gas station

23-year-old Damien Newman refused to leave the Shell Gas Station on Fesslers Lane in the early hours of March 11th. When detectives arrived, Newman was outside of the Shell, fully naked, showing signs of intoxication. Officers asked him where his clothes were, but he had no response. Newman was deemed a danger to himself and taken into custody for public indecency and public intoxication.

Phillip Cooney urinates on sidewalk after walking into traffic

45-year-old Phillip Cooney stumbled into the street disregarding traffic and was nearly hit by two vehicles near Rosa L Parks and Broadway in the early hours of March 11th. Cooney continued southbound on 8th Avenue South and took a right onto McGavock Street near the intersection. This is where he started urinating on the sidewalk. Officers observed this and approached Cooney, who showed multiple signs of impairment as he admitted to being intoxicated. Cooney was deemed a danger to himself and was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Joseph Green attacks woman on Broadway for messing with his baby-mama

34-year-old Joseph Travis Green attacked Carlie Nicole Carter at Whiskey Row on Broadway in the early hours of March 8th. Witnesses waved down the police and advised them that Green was walking down 4th Avenue South. Police then located and detained Green. Officers spoke with Carter, who advised them that Green came up from behind and punched her, which was witnessed by Mark McCarthy. McCarthy then chased Green down to stop him after seeing the assault. Then officers spoke with Green, who reeked of alcohol as he advised them that he assaulted Carter because she was messing with his baby’s mother. Officers reviewed the camera footage, which showed Green hitting Carter, and placed Green into custody for assault and public intoxication.
