James McLean passes out in front of hotel in downtown Nashville

58-year-old James McLean was found passed out in front of a downtown Nashville hotel. When staff awakened him, he refused to leave, and Metro Nashville Police responded to the scene. He was highly intoxicated and refused to be treated by medics. Officers made contact with his wife, and he was returned to his room at the hotel. A short time later, McLean was yelling and screaming at others in the vicinity and was taken into custody due to his disruptive behavior. 

Alex Naymick jailed after screaming profanities into dugout at Nashville Sounds baseball game

23-year-old Alex Naymick was jailed Saturday night after causing a disruption at the Nashville Sounds baseball game. Police say he ran down and leaned into the dugout of the home team and screamed profanities at the players. As officers approached him, Naymick refused to provide his ID or answer any questions about the incident. He reeked of alcohol and caused everyone around the area to stop watching the game due to the distraction. He was taken into custody and transported to booking.

Irelander helped himself to beers at a closed airport bar, fell asleep behind the bar — Patrick Cassidy

23-year-old Patrick Cassidy says he helped himself to “three or four glasses” of a draft beer at the Arrington Wine Bar inside the Nashville International Airport late Friday night. After consuming the alcohol, the Irelander propped up on the floor behind the bar and fell asleep, where officers found him during a routine concourse sweet at 2:30 a.m. According to his ticket, he had a flight scheduled late that same evening. He was given the option to leave the airport property and return a few hours before his flight. He agreed but was unable to tell officers where he wanted to go. He would only state that he wanted to go to Ireland. He was eventually taken into custody and charged with public intoxication. 

Kolton Leeper punches driver in face after drunken rage in downtown Nashville

21-year-old Kolton Leeper faces a multitude of criminal charges after a night of drinking in downtown Nashville. Police say Leeper, from Lebanon and the son of locally known roofing company owner Tim Leeper, was asked to leave the 5th &Broadway area due to walking in the middle of the road and having altercations with others. He then approached a vehicle, which had stopped to avoid hitting him, and punched the driver in the face after striking the car multiple times with his fists.

Mitchell Moellenhoff: too drunk for downtown Nashville

25-year-old Mitchell Moellenhoff almost fell from the stairs at Old Red’s Bar in downtown Nashville Friday afternoon and onto a THP vehicle parked below. Once on the pavement, Moellenhofff then attempted to get into three different vehicles, believing they were an Uber. He told officers he was either in South Carolina or St. Louis and appeared extremely surprised to learn he was in Nashville. Due to his level of intoxication, he was taken into custody and transported to booking.
