Braxton Smith booked after telling police he was about to snort meth

26-year-old Braxton Alexander Smith was sitting on the couch in his house at E Woodlands Taill when officers responded to a domestic incident he was not involved in on September 2nd. Officers observed Smith holding a glass plate with a line of crystal meth and a straw on it. Smith advised them that he was about to snort the methamphetamine before being searched for more narcotics and cited for simple possession. Smith failed to appear in court and was booked on a summons regarding the simple possession on November 26th.

Ariel Huff jerks steering wheel while girlfriend is driving; upset over text messages

23-year-old Ariel Huff was riding in her girlfriend’s car on the way back to her apartment early on September 27th. Her girlfriend, Shai Anne Hanley, was driving, and Ariel was arguing with her about text messages after going through each other’s cell phones. Ariel grabbed the steering wheel during the argument and jerked it, causing the vehicle to veer across the road. Shai Anne pulled the vehicle over, fearing that Ariel would cause a car accident.

Samaneh Moradi follows husband around home, assaulting him; he has her jailed

33-year-old Samaneh Moradi is charged with the assault of her husband, Hassan Tehrani, as police documented injuries on his arms, wrists, shoulder, hands, and back on May 25. Police responded to their Nolensville Pike home, where the victim stated his wife was in an argument and became upset when he started to record her with his phone. She is captured on the video following him around the home and assaulting him multiple times with slaps, punches, and fingernail scratches. Her husband stated he wanted to prosecute for the assault, and she was taken into custody.

Zachariah Morris charged in theft of Lexus GS460

19-year-old Zachariah Morris was jailed this week on an outstanding felony warrant charging him with the theft of an automobile. Police say he stole Robert Fortune’s 2021 Lexus GS460, valued at $53,000, from his residence on Rosa L. Parks Blvd. He then fled to Gallatin, where he nearly struck a patrol car and was later arrested on multiple driving-related charges.
