Michigan Tourist Marissa Louk interferes with officers arresting her boyfriend on Broadway

24-year-old Marissa Katelyn Louk physically interfered with officers while they were placing her boyfriend in custody outside of Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk on Broadway early March 3rd. Officers repeatedly warned her not to interfere, but she ignored them. Then, when Louk attempted to intervene again, officers detained her. Officers noticed she had numerous indicators of intoxication and placed her into custody for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Melanie Miller kicked out of Jason Aldean’s Bar, complains people inside are homophobic

34-year-old Melanie Leanne Miller had to be removed from Jason Aldean’s Bar on Broadway due to her level of intoxication in the early hours of March 3rd. Miller spoke with the police when they arrived, advising them that she wished to make a report regarding people being homophobic at the bar. When officers completed the report, they attempted to get a taxi for Miller, but she refused to enter it. Miller reeked of alcohol as she stated that she had friends coming down to meet her. Then, officers observed Miller as she stood on the corner between Jason Aldean’s and Broadway Brewhouse, where she was told to leave the establishment moments later. Miller began asking officers for their names and badge numbers, berating them for not displaying either on their vests. Officers deemed her a danger to herself and others. Miller was placed into custody for public intoxication.

Daphne Flemings deemed too drunk for Nashville International Airport

40-year-old Daphne Flemings had been removed from her flight at Nashville International Airport in the early hours of March 2nd. Nashville Airport Police were called to Gate C 13 to conduct a welfare check and noticed Flemings from two prior encounters earlier in the morning. Flemings showed multiple indicators of intoxication as she became uncooperative with officers, cursing at them loudly. Flemings was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Taylor Elliott threatens boyfriend with taser during argument

30-year-old Taylor Kay Elliott had a domestic incident with Kelvin Lagrand Price, her boyfriend, at their Village Hills Drive residence in the early hours of March 2nd. Officers responded to a 911 hang-up call and, when they arrived, spoke with Price, who advised them that he and Elliott argued about how they had both flirted with other people at a bar the night before. Price explained that they started arguing at the bar and continued to argue on the way home. While they argued on their way home, Elliott pulled out a taser and threatened Price with it. However, Price said he grabbed the taser out of Elliott’s hand. Price then told officers that he did not wish to press charges. Elliott spoke with detectives and admitted to threatening Price with a taser during an argument. Elliott was taken into custody for domestic assault.

DUI: Brittany Augustine has multiple drinks at Roy’s Tavern before crashing car

31-year-old Brittany Augustine had a single-vehicle accident on Gallatin Pike near Henry James Bar on March 2nd. When officers arrived, they spoke with Augustine, who advised them she had too much to drink at Roy’s Tavern. Augustine reeked of alcohol as she consented to sobriety tests and performed poorly. Officers informed Augustine about implied consent, and she agreed to provide a blood sample. Augustine stated she had two shots of Rum, one beer, and “a few others.” Augustine was taken into custody for driving under the influence.

Alabama Tourist Kolter Lindsay drunkenly assaults sister at Barstool Nashville

23-year-old Alabama Tourist Kolter Lindsey, a rental coordinator at McCurry Van & Car Rental, had a domestic altercation with his sister, Jazmine Ellison, at Barstool Nashville on 2nd Avenue South early March 2nd. Officers arrived and spoke with Lindsey, who was visibly intoxicated, as he advised them that “it all happened so fast” regarding the incident. Lindsay stated he shoved Ellison out of the way to keep her from getting hit. Ellison told officers it was a misunderstanding and did not wish to press charges. Lindsey was taken into custody for domestic assault and disorderly conduct.

Andrew Gay assaults fiancé for taking children to McDonald’s

34-year-old Andrew Gay was jailed on February 24th for assaulting his fiancé on South Street. A third party reported that his ex-wife, Angela Bierly, was assaulted by her current fiancé. When police arrived, Gay explained that he and Angela had gotten into an argument because he was sick and stressed. Gay stated that the argument started because of the children that he and Angela share. Gay, however, insisted that no threats or violence occurred. Angela told police that the argument was over taking the kids to McDonalds but that there were no threats or physical violence. Angela then changed her story after further questioning and said that she obtained an injury from her fiancé. Angela stated that she told Gay she was going to take the children out to McDonald’s, which upset him. Angela was holding the stroller when Gay grabbed her shirt to stop her from leaving, causing a bruise. The officers observed the bruise and determined Gay to be the primary aggressor.

Amaya Simmons drunkenly yells obscenities at Staybridge Suites staff

27-year-old Amaya Simmons was jailed on February 26th for causing a disturbance at Staybridge Suites Nashville. When officers arrived, Ms. Simmons was angry with staff in the hotel lobby. Officers also noticed the smell of alcohol coming from her. Hotel staff and other witnesses said Ms. Simmons was refused service at the bar and became upset. Ms. Simmons began yelling obscenities at the staff, prompting the staff to call the police. Simmons was then taken into custody and transported to Davidson County Detention Center.

Canadian Tourist Stephen Jones interferes with medics helping his wife near Omni Hotel

60-year-old Canadian Tourist Stephen Gwynne Jones interfered with medics as they tried to assist his wife near the Omni Hotel on Representative John Lewis Way South in the early hours of March 2nd. When officers arrived, they detained Jones and were advised that he and his wife were inebriated, stumbling in and out of the establishment. Jones was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

Michigan Tourist Jarred Parker drunkenly dives onto police vehicle for no reason

24-year-old Michigan Tourist Jarred James Parker dove onto a patrol car near Broadway and 3rd Avenue South around 3 a.m. on March 3rd. Officers observed this and then located Parker shortly after, who showed numerous signs of impairment and reeked of alcohol. Officers detained Parker, and once he was in the back of the patrol car, he kicked the passenger side window repeatedly, causing damage. Parker was taken into custody for vandalizing government property, public intoxication, and disorderly conduct.
