27-year-old Austin Hubbart and his wife, Megan, were visiting Nashville this weekend from Villa Grove, Illinois. The couple was drinking on Broadway Saturday night before returning to their AirBNB on Harmony Way. Both had been drinking in excess, and Austin threw up in the Uber on the way to the AirBNB. He became angry after that, and his rage continued once at their destination. She says he pushed her to the ground, where he repeatedly kicked her in the head and body multiple times, causing her to lose consciousness for an unknown amount of time. Once she awoke, she found him in the bed asleep and called police. Officers took Austin into custody and charged him with felony aggravated assault.

Matthew Keith says “everything went black” while drinking in downtown Nashville
23-year-old Matthew Keith was observed swaying around the stop sign at the intersection of Harrison & 5th in downtown Nashville Saturday in an extreme state of intoxication. He told officers he had been drinking on Broadway and repeatedly asked where he was at. He further stated he was drinking with his friends when “everything went black.” He was given an opportunity to provide an address to be taken to or to contact his friends, but was unsuccessful in both tasks. He was a danger to himself in his condition and was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.
Lauren Rearick charged in DUI Crash after drinking “two margaritas” at bartaco
23-year-old Lauren Rearick told police she had “two margaritas’ at bartaco” before crashing her car on Gallatin Pike early Sunday morning. There were no injuries in the accident, and she was determined to be the at-fault driver. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests and later blew a 0.130% BAC on a breathalyzer.
Rebecca Nieves threatens medics, resists police, after drinking too much in downtown Nashville
Police and medics responded to the Ole Red Bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville in the early hours of Sunday morning, where 25-year-old Rebecca Angelic Nieves was initially believed to be having a seizure — it turns out she was just extremely intoxicated. As medics placed her in the back of the ambulance for medical clearance, Nieves began to threaten to harm the medics and was eventually placed into custody by police after it was determined she was just intoxicated. She then pulled away from officers, resisting arrest. Nieves then vomited all over herself and the back seat of the patrol car, and produced a second round once inside booking.
John Young charged in DUI crash after leaving Play Dance Bar on Church Street
64-year-old John Mark Young says he consumed “a couple of vodka and cranberry drinks” at Play Dance Bar in Nashville Saturday before crashing his 2008 Chevy Impala a few hundred feet away on Church Street. Additionally, inside the vehicle, officers found a Cayman Jack 24 oz Margarita can. Young performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was charged with DUI.
Michael Arnold found with two handguns after DUI traffic stop on I-440
34-year-old Michael Arnold of Bethesda, MD, was traveling over 90 mph on I-440 when he swerved and nearly struck a police patrol vehicle Saturday evening. Officers conducted a traffic stop and found Arnold to be extremely intoxicated and reeking of alcohol. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and later blew a 0.247% BAC on a breathalyzer. Inside the vehicle, officers discovered four empty Whiteclaw cans, one empty Twisted Tea can, and two consumed screwdrivers. A Glock handgun was located in the driver’s side door, and a Colt revolver was in an unlocked compartment.

32-year-old Caroline Fitzhugh called 911 on May 19 to report she had murdered her roommate. Further investigation revealed she did not murder anyone but rather called 911 with a false report of an emergency to “show her family a wake-up call.” She was taken into custody and transported to booking.
Bass Berry & Sims lawyer Theodore ‘Gil’ Ulhorn V jailed on DUI charge in Nashville
48-year-old Memphis attorney Theodore ‘Gil’ Ulhorn V was traveling at 50 mph in a 30 mph zone in the early hours of Friday morning near West End, according to Metro Nashville Police, who conducted a traffic stop. Uhlhorn, who was driving the vehicle, reportedly reeked of alcohol and was visibly intoxicated along with slurred speech. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was taken into custody. At booking, he initially agreed to a breathalyzer but then refused after attempting to negotiate his release if it was below the legal limit. A warrant was granted for his blood, and the draw was completed at General Hospital.

23-year-old Christian Gregory was booked this week for getting into a fight with Kelodjah Holt after she confronted Christian about sleeping with her ex-boyfriend and brother, Kelodjah Holt. A male called in on the line whispering about people being in his apartment that shouldn’t be. Police responded to Green Circle in Goodlettsville and spoke with Christian and her sisters, Talissa Gregory, and Shamaree Ramsey. Christian had just been in a fight with Kelodjah, who also lived in the apartment complex. Kelodjah found out that Christian had been sleeping with her ex-boyfriend and her brother, so she went to Christian’s apartment to confront her, and the argument turned into a fight.
During the fight, Christian grabbed a kitchen knife in self-defense, but Shamaree knocked it out of her hands and separated the two. Kelodjah ran to get back to her apartment, and Christian got in Shamaree’s car to follow her. Talissa ran after Christian but lost sight of her as she drove off. Talissa believed that Christian was hiding and waiting for an opportunity to attack Kelodjah, but it was later discovered that she circled the complex and went back to her apartment to grab another knife.
Christian pulled up to Kelodjas’s apartment and exited the car screaming, “I’m going to kill you b$*ch.” Christian slashed Kelodjah’s front passenger’s tire and then scratched her car with a knife. She then lunged at her while swinging the knife in her direction. Kelodjah told police that she feared for her life, and her claims were corroborated by Talissa and Shamaree. Officers found a broken knife blade lying on the hood of Kelodjah’s car and a knife handle sitting in the center console of Shamaree’s car, confirming that Christian used the knife.
