Beth Creglow charged with DUI after admitting to drinking for hours prior to driving

39-year-old Elizabeth Creglow told police she had been drinking for several hours at a friend’s house before deciding to drive back home to Clarksville this weekend. Police encountered her after she crashed her 2018 black Ford Edge on I-24 near mile marker 34. She says she was attempting to pass another vehicle when she crashed into it. She was placed into custody for DUI and transported to booking.

Emanuel Pedreira Valdes charged in brutal beating — “I should have stopped. I didn’t mean to hurt her”.

32-year-old Emanuel Pedreira Valdes is charged with the brutal beating of his girlfriend, Cassandra Neal, inside their Antioch apartment. He beat her until she vomited, and strangled her until she couldn’t breathe. The assault began when he accused her of cheating and spread from an upstairs bathroom to every room in the home. He pushed her hit her, slapped her bit her, strangled her twice, punched her in the face, and threatened to kill her as he strangled her again. Police documented redness to her face, cuts, bruising, red marks, and swelling. In a statement to police, Pedreira Valdes said “I should have stopped. I didn’t mean to hurt her”.

Mark Corwin calls police to say he threw a rock at a bus in anger, turns himself in at McDonald’s

27-year-old Mark Corwin was walking down a hill in order to catch a city bus just before lunch on Tuesday. He became upset as the bus began to pull off before he was able to catch up to it and threw a rock at the bus, cracking a window. He walked back up the hill, and once he calmed down he called police to confess and turn himself in. He walked to the McDonalds and waited to be taken into custody.

Man pulls knife on clerk when he doesn’t have ID to pick up alcohol for DoorDash order — Clayton Phifer

24-year-old Clayton Phifer and his wife were DoorDashing and had an order to pick up alcohol from a Berry Hill liquor store. When neither was able to produce ID to verify their age, they were denied the alcohol. After some back and forth, the store informed Clayton he was no longer welcome, and Clayton became irate and went outside only to return back inside with his wife. The clerk felt threatened and grabbed a bottle of liquor in case he had to defend himself, at which time Clayton pulled out a pocket knife and stated “there’s gonna be a murder scene in here”. The clerk and the Clayton were chest-to-chest during parts of the altercation and intimidation.

Man charged with threatening ex-girlfriend after she reported his crimes to police — Diante Wilkes

28-year-old Diante Wilkes is charged with breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s car and taking her speakers. Once he learned she had reported the incident and warrants had been issued for his arrest he reportedly began to text his ex, Jessica Carter, and make threats of physical violence if she didn’t “cancel the warrants”.

In addition to the open warrants for theft and auto burglary, Wilkes was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail earlier this week, also charged with coercion of a witness. He remains jailed in lieu of a $7,500 bond.

Woman throws drink on officer who is escorting her out of Redneck Riviera— Jessica Gonzales

Jessica Gonzales, a 27-year-old tourist from Houston, Texas, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail after she threw a drink on Officer Charles Wakefield when he asked her to leave the Redneck Riviera bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville.

The officer was attempting to get her off the property as management asked she be trespassed and was no longer welcome due to causing issues with other patrons. She was charged with disorderly conduct and is free on pre-trial release.
