Marisa Cobbs headbutts man during drunk argument at Placemakr

33-year-old Marisa Cobbs had a domestic altercation with Clinton Carter at Placemakr on March 23rd. When the officers arrived, they noticed their room was trashed with empty beer and liquor bottles as they spoke with them. Carter told officers that on the night of March 22nd, they had been drinking a lot and had an argument. During the argument, Cobbs became upset and headbutted Carter in the forehead, leaving a bruise in between his eyes. Cobbs was taken into custody for domestic assault.

DUI: Jack Neuls found passed out in vehicle, asks officers for a “Semen Sample”

46-year-old Jack Neuls was slumped over and passed out in his vehicle in a lane of traffic near Russell Street and Interstate Drive around midnight on December 27th. Security from a nearby establishment informed them that he had been there for almost 20 minutes. Officers observed his car, causing traffic to back up, so they opened the door, turned the vehicle off, and woke Neuls up. He woke up visibly intoxicated with slurred speech as they questioned him about what he was doing. He admitted to drinking a lot, stepped out of the vehicle, and tried to go back into the car when they asked him for his license. He was stopped and told them where it would be. Officers found a bag of marijuana while they searched for it. Neuls consented to sobriety tests but had a hard time following the instructions, cursing at them as they asked if he understood the directions. Due to his aggression, the test was stopped, and he was detained. They asked him for a blood sample, and he replied by asking them for a “semen sample.” A subsequent search of his vehicle yielded an open beer can, and he was taken into custody for driving under the influence, implied consent, and possessing a controlled substance.

Sara Lackova charged in assault of ex-boyfriend at Nashville AirBNB

23-year-old Sara Lackova spoke to police regarding an incident between her and her ex-boyfriend at an Airbnb At Burnham Apartments on Tuesday. She admitted to pushing her ex-boyfriend, Nicholas French, after he yelled at her during an argument and followed her back to the Airbnb. She pushed him because she did not want him inside the Airbnb. Nicholas told police that she refused to let him inside to grab his belongings and slapped him in the face. Video footage shows the two of them at the entrance, and Nicholas puts his arms up before Sara pushes him to keep him from entering. A witness across the street said they saw Nicholas with his arms up and Sara pushing him. Police noted scratch marks on Nicholas’ arm and believed it was from Sara.

Kaiser Aluminum executive Edgar Scott charged in assault of wife at Nashville Hotel

58-year-old tourist Edgar Scott of Idaho was jailed Thursday evening, charged with the domestic assault of his wife, Karen Scott. Security video from the Four Seasons Hotel shows Edgar in the valet area when Karen walks up to him. He then shoves his wife to the ground at 5:53 p.m., causing a serious injury that resulted in her being transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment. Despite the video, Edgar told police “nothing physical occurred” and claimed they were just trying to get back to their hotel. He admitted to drinking and was heavily intoxicated, according to Metro Nashville Police. Edgar Scott is the Vice President of Environmental and Governmental Affairs for Kaiser Aluminum.

Nashville Police charge Brendan Stevens for 15 grams of marijuana during a traffic stop

23-year-old Nashville musician Brendan Stevens was charged with possessing 2 grams of marijuana in downtown Nashville after Field Training Officer Trevor Taylor observed him driving a white Chevy Cruz without headlines at 11:18 p.m. on Black Friday. During the traffic stop, the officer says he smelled marijuana, and when asked, Brendan stated he had “around 2 grams” in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle discovered a sandwich bag with 15.4 grams of marijuana inside. Stevens was issued a state citation and was booked on the charge this week.

Shatner Franchi (AKA DJ Shatner) charged with DUI in downtown Nashville

Police were dispatched to 3rd Ave N near the railroad crossing as citizens reported a white Range Rover parked in the middle of the road for an extended period of time. When police arrived, the vehicle had moved to the parking lot nearby. Officers made contact with 35-year-old Shatner Franchi, known locally as DJ Shatner, who was rummaging through the vehicle, telling officers he was searching for his phone. when officers asked how much he had to drink, he initially said two 24oz beers and later said 1-8 beers. Franchi wasn’t sure where he was coming from or where he was going and couldn’t recall where he lived. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and eventually blew a 0.126% on a breathalyzer.

Man charged after putting hands on MNPD officer at The Twelve Thirty Club — Brian Clements arrested

49-year-old Brian Clements was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail this week after putting his hands on a police officer who came to escort him out of The Twelve Thirty Club on Broadway in downtown Nashville. Clements had reportedly become disorderly and refused to leave when requested by club security.

Police arrived to find him extremely intoxicated and when they asked him to find a ride to leave the location on his own he reportedly placed his hands on the officer’s shoulders. Officers advised Clements to remove his hands, and he did so before once again putting his hands on the officer. Clements was charged with public intoxication and transported to booking.

North Carolina tourist drunk and fighting in downtown Nashville — Nathan James Alderman arrested

24-year-old Nathan Alderman, from North Carolina, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail after police found him in downtown Nashville standing over another person who he was fighting, and wasn’t letting the person get up off the ground. Officers commanded him to step away so the situation could de-escalate but he refused and would not obey any commands from police. Due to his extreme level of intoxication, he was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.
