James Andrew Green booked (yet again) for a 2016 boating violation – now on a $10,000 bond

32-year-old James Andrew Green was jailed in the early hours of Sunday morning on a citation originally issued in 2016. In June 2016, he was cited for a boating violation on Percy Priest Lake. Since then, he has failed to comply with the terms of his bond, failed to return to court, and failed to pay his fees and fines. According to the Davidson County Criminal Court Clerk, Green has failed to appear for court dates related to this citation at least four times and had his bond forfeited. The most recent warrant was issued in 2021, which he was booked on this weekend. He is again free on a bond – this time for $10,000.

Dakota Cole charged with BUI on Percy Priest Lake

21-year-old Dakota Cole was operating a boat at the Percy Priest Reservoir Saturday night when TWRA Officer Clayton Hetland observed a passenger on the board standing above the gunwales while the boat was underway. Cole reportedly reeked of alcohol and admitted to drinking while operating the boat. When asked to display the required safety equipment, such as a throw cushion, Cole presented a first aid kit. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was taken into custody.

Songwriter & falconer Holly Lamar faces 30 charges after TWRA raids her Wing Blade Falconry

56-year-old Grammy nominee Mary Holladay “Holly” Lamar was booked this week on 30 wildlife-related charges after agents from the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency (TWRA), stemming from a search conducted in August of this year, during which 13 birds of prey were seized from her falconry, Wing Blade Falconry, in Whites Creek. In 2018, Lamar was charged and convicted in England for owning unregistered falcons and for having a dead falcon in her freezer, which was “half-eaten with its leg cut off.” She is banned from owning falcons or birds of prey in the UK.

BUI: David Rank, 62, charged after doing donuts on a jet ski near Elm Hill Marina

TWRA Officer Joshua Landrum says 62-year-old David Alan Rank was having too much fun near the Elm Hill Marina Sunday as he observed him doing donuts near the no-wake zone without a life jacket properly buckled. As he spoke to Rank, he says it was apparent he was intoxicated with slurred speech and a strong smell of alcohol about him. When asked how much he had to drink today, he stated he had “one or two drinks” on his daughter’s boat.

He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was taken to jail.

Too drunk for Percy Priest Lake: Lucille Gonyea & Dominic Napolitan arrested on jet ski

TWRA Officers observed 42-year-old Lucille Gonyea & 58-year-old Dominic Napolitan on a jet ski near Hamilton Creek while visibly intoxicated. Dominic was operating the vessel with a half-worn life jacket while holding a styrofoam cup he attempted to hide when the officer approached. Both parties reportedly reeked of alcohol, and Dominic performed poorly on field sobriety tests. TWRA Officer Joshua Landrum took both parties into custody.

BUI: Tyler Ruby admits to drinking beer & smoking weed prior to operating boat on Percy Priest Lake

TWRA Officer Joshua Landrum was patrolling Percy Priest Lake Sunday when he noticed a pontoon boat in the ‘no wake’ zone without any registration numbers properly displayed. As he encountered and spoke to the boat operator, 31-year-old Tyler Ruby, he noticed he reeked of alcohol and had slurred speech and glassy eyes. Ruby admitted to drinking “2 or 3 beers” and smoking marijuana prior to operating the boat. After performing poorly on field sobriety tests, Ruby was transported to booking on multiple charges.

Austin Rivera booked on outstanding citations for jet skiing after sunset on Percy Priest Lake

In June of 2021, 24-year-old Austin Rivera was issued boating violation citations on Percy Priest Lake for operating a jet ski after sunset and towing two individuals on a tube after sunset. He was scheduled to appear to self-book on the citations a few weeks later but never appeared. Eventually, he was taken into custody on the outstanding criminal charges this week in Nashville.
