David Herrera-Andino shoots man in face during altercation, leaves him in critical condition

21-year-old David Herrera-Andino was taken into custody on April 11th for an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon that had occurred at a Preserve Circle residence on March 24th. Andino had shot and hit Brillian Amilcar Mercado-Nunez in the face. Andino then fled the scene by having Karla Dayanne Hernandez-Reyes pick him up. Officers on the scene rendered medical aid until paramedics arrived and transported Nunez to Vanderbilt Medical Center, where he was in critical condition. Detectives identified Andino as the shooter via several individuals who were inside the residence during the shooting, and he has since admitted to firing the handgun and shooting Nunez in the face.

Alexandra Gresser slaps boyfriend during argument on Christmas Day

22-year-old Alexandra Gresser had a domestic dispute with her boyfriend, Evan Healey, at Wallace Road on Christmas Day. Gresser spoke with officers and advised them that she and Healey had an argument over their house being messy when her family was coming to visit later that day. She admitted to slapping him once before he left to go to his parents. They spoke with Healey via phone, and he confirmed her statements. He did not wish to prosecute and refused all offered services. They both informed officers that she has severe bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and anxiety. They were notified that she was possibly having a mental episode during the incident since she has been unable to take her prescribed medication since December 14th. Gresser was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Jordan Durham charged in assault of her boyfriend during knock-down-drag-out

25-year-old Jordan Durham is charged with the domestic assault of her boyfriend, Anthony Keith Phillips, after she says she was attempting to stop him from moving her items out of their shared apartment and caused an injury to his right arm. Both parties agreed that he pushed her away, striking her in the mouth in response, and she claims she was strangled and slammed into the wall. After an investigation by responding officers, Durham was determined to be the primary aggressor due to the severity of the injury, and both parties agreed that she initiated the physical contact.
