Caleb Sanchez caught stealing $46.04 worth of merchandise from Walmart

31-year-old Caleb Sanchez stole $46.04 worth of merchandise from the Walmart on Gallatin Pike North in the early hours of February 26th. An off-duty MNPD officer advised them that Sanchez had been banned from all Walmart locations on two different occasions, January 24th and February 23rd. The loss prevention officer, Tikicee Russell, provided footage to officers showing Sanchez stealing. The footage showed Sanchez entering the store with an empty Walmart bag, filling it with random items, and trying to leave before being stopped by a Wal-Mart employee, Kimberly Warren. Sanchez was taken into custody for burglary.

Logan Hall defecates on floor after being confronted for trespassing at Walmart

60-year-old Logan Hall refused to leave a West Nashville Walmart on the afternoon of February 14th. Walmart security officer Wanda Robertson, and Phillip McCoy, a loss prevention officer, alerted the authorities, advising them that Hall was trespassing and told to leave after being caught shoplifting. Then, Hall re-entered the establishment, sparking an argument with Robertson in the entryway. During the argument, Hall pulled on his pant leg, releasing feces onto the ground. Officers also noted that a customer nearly stepped in Hall’s feces as well. When officers arrived, they reviewed footage confirming the incident and were told that Walmart wished to prosecute. Hall was taken into custody for vandalism and criminal trespassing.

Lisa Hawkins charged after being caught with liquor in her purse

53-year-old Lisa Hawkins was at the Wal-Mart in west Nashville on November 24th when officers were dispatched regarding an unrelated trespassing incident. She was visibly intoxicated as officers were interacting with the other suspect and consented to a search, which yielded a half-empty bottle of liquor in her purse. Hawkins could clearly not take care of herself, so she was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Tylar Lester pushes out $482 worth of merchandise at West Nashville Walmart

18-year-old Tylar Lester was issued a citation on September 28th after she was caught stealing from the Walmart on Charlotte Pike. Loss prevention officers advised that Lester walked into the store, grabbed items off the shelf, and walked out the door without paying for them. She was taken into custody, and $482.57 worth of merchandise was recovered. She was booked on the citation this week.

Cherre Tubville charged with theft of shoes and jacket from Walmart

33-year-old Cherre Tubville was booked this week on a citation after shoplifting from Walmart on Dickerson Pike on January 30th, 2023. The loss prevention officers told police that Tubville walked in, picked out shoes and a jacket, and walked out of the store with them on her body without paying. The items were valued at $29.96. She was issued a citation at the time and never appeared to be booked.

Jake Stevens caught selling Fentanyl in Walmart parking lot

21-year-old Jake Stevens was driving a green Scion into the Walmart Neighborhood Market on Gallatin Pike on April 13 when he parked near a Toyota Sequoia, which was being surveilled by Metro Nashville Police. A person from the Toyota got into Stevens’ vehicle and conducted what detectives believed to be a hand-to-hand drug transaction. Detectives approached the vehicle and found Stevens to have a scale in his lap with white powder on it. Inside the vehicle, a bag of 2.4 grams of Fentanyl was located between his seat and the center console, and Stevens alerted officers he had a firearm in his waistband. Another bag of 1.6 grams of methamphetamine was also located. Stevens admitted to being a “drug dealer” and stated he was also addicted to drugs.

April Steele charged with felony burglary of $277 worth of merchandise from Walmart

36-year-old April Steele was jailed on Sunday morning on an outstanding warrant from March 1st after stealing from a Walmart on Nolensville Pike. A loss prevention employee witnessed Steele put makeup, food, jewelry, and clothes into a black bag in her cart. She was stopped by the witness and detained. Steele signed a trespassing agreement in 2021 and was in violation as she knew she was banned from that Walmart, making this a felony burglary charge. The total amount of Merchandise was $276.68.
