Jeffrey Wright Bawitdaba Bawitdaba Booted from Kid Rock’s Bar in Nashville

49-year-old Jeffrey Wright was kicked out of Kid Rock’s bar in downtown Nashville late Saturday evening due to his unruly behavior toward other patrons. After being escorted outside, Wright continued to attempt to regain entry and became belligerent with security. He began to yell and scream at Metro Nashville Police officers when they arrived, too, and he was taken into custody and transported to booking.

Brandi Jennings charged after pepper-spray incident at Maplewood High School

18-year-old Brandi Jennings was broadcasting an Instagram live from Maplewood High School on Valentine’s Day when several girls, who she is not friends with, got onto her feed and caused a scene while she was live. After her broadcast ended, she confronted the group of girls in the hallway but said she suddenly became afraid she was going to “get jumped.” She pepper-sprayed the girls, with one juvenile receiving a direct stream to the face. She was charged with carrying a weapon on school property.

Andres Gamboa deemed too disorderly for Luke Bryan’s Bar in downtown Nashville

35-year-old Andres Gamboa of Franklin, TN, is charged with disorderly conduct after he was involved in a fight at Luke Bryan’s Bar in downtown Nashville early Sunday morning. Metro Nashville Police Officers working the Entertainment District Initiative approached Gamboa to de-escalate the situation when Gamboa refused to let go of the other patron and continued to be aggressive. Gamboa was taken into custody and transported to booking. He is free on pre-trial release.

Joseph ‘Joey’ Schwartz charged in drunken assault of employee at Jason Aldean’s Bar

24-year-old tourist Joseph Joey Schwartz, from Maryland, found himself in the Metro Nashville Jail overnight when he attacked a Spanish-speaking cleaning employee at Jason Aldean’s bar overnight. The worker says he was mopping an upstairs bathroom at the downtown Nashville venue when Schwartz appeared and began blocking the doorway and preventing his free movement. He says Schwartz, who was extremely intoxicated, then began to beat the victim in his face, leaving him with multiple lacerations that required medical treatment. Schwartz was taken into custody and charged with assault and public intoxication, and given pre-trial release back to his home in Maryland.

Intoxicated California man assaults Nashville officer at Nudie’s Honky Tonk — Ebrahim Parvizshahi

Metro Nashville Police working the Entertainment District Initiative in downtown Nashville located 35-year-old Ebrahim Parvizshahi outside of Nudie’s Honky tonk yelling and screaming at bouncers from the venue. An officer was already attempting to assist security with another patron when Parvizshahi inserted himself into that interaction by pushing the officer. As they attempted to take Parvizshahi into custody he attempted to flee and push his way through the crowd but was eventually taken into custody. It was later learned the other patron was his brother.

Maplewood High student Demanuel McFarland charged with domestic assault of girlfriend

Police responded to Maplewood High School, where a 17-year-old student stated that her 18-year-old boyfriend Demanuel McFarland, who also attends the school, had grabbed her during an argument and slung her to the ground. McFarland told police he was upset about her messaging other people and took her phone from her and when he confronted her she pulled away, and he pulled her back. The victim says he also slung her to the ground at this time and pulled his arm back as if he were going to strike her, but didn’t. He was transported to booking and charged with domestic assault and given a $100 bond.

Tourist defecates on himself in downtown bar, says security is “trying to kill me” — Hunter Brooke Macfarlane

38-year-old Hunter Brooke Macfarlane, a tourist from North Carolina, was found on the floor of Miranda Lambert’s Casa Rosa on Broadway in downtown Nashville with his pants around his ankles, having defecated on himself while screaming: “They [security guards] are trying to kill me!” Security flagged down officers after the man refused to leave, and he was transported to booking, where he was charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct. He is free on pre-trial release.
