51-year-old Jordan Giron was speeding, going 80 mph in a 50-mph zone near Murfreesboro Pike and Old Hickory Boulevard in the early hours of March 9th. When officers observed this, they initiated a traffic stop and noticed a holster for a handgun in the passenger’s seat as they approached Giron’s car. Officers ordered Giron to exit his vehicle, during which he stumbled. Giron showed multiple signs of intoxication, so officers asked him to take sobriety field tests. Giron consented and performed poorly on the sobriety tests. After being informed of implied consent and deemed too impaired to operate his car, Giron agreed to provide a blood sample. Giron was taken into custody for driving under the influence and speeding.

Jovan McClain assaults boyfriend during scuffle over money
27-year-old Jovan McClain had a domestic incident with her boyfriend, Okeno Dixon, at her Vista Lane residence on March 8th. When the officers arrived, they spoke with both parties. Both advised that they had an altercation earlier in the day and insisted it was strictly verbal. McClain further explained that Dixon was holding some money during this argument, and she tried to take it out of his hand because some of it was hers. However, when McClain went to grab the money, she struck Dixon on his back or shoulder. McClain stated after this, Dixon hit her in the face, which ended the scuffle. Despite Dixon claiming no physical interaction occurred, officers still deemed McClain the primary aggressor. McClain was taken into custody for domestic assault.
DUI: Dominic Rivera pops Adderall and drinks beer before driving with fully loaded pistol
25-year-old Dominic Rivera II failed to stop in his black 2016 Lexus at a posted stop sign near 51st Avenue and Indiana Avenue late March 8th. Officers observed this, conducted a traffic stop, and then noticed he reeked of alcohol as they approached the driver’s side to speak with him. They also saw two Coors Light’s, one empty, one a quarter-full, and a Hennessy bottle in the center console. Rivera II told them that he had taken some Adderall earlier in the day, and two hours later, he had two beers with his dinner. He consented to sobriety tests, performed poorly, and was informed of implied consent, which he refused. A search of his vehicle resulted in them locating a Glock Gen5 pistol with one in the chamber and a fully loaded magazine. Rivera was taken into custody for the possession of a handgun while under the influence, implied consent, and driving under the influence on March 9th.
Nicole Webb assaults husband for recording her
45-year-old Nicole Marie Webb was taken into custody for a domestic assault that occurred on February 29th. Thomas Cowman, while waiting for the divorce to finalize with Webb, went to the family safety center on March 1st to report the incident after returning from a business trip. He explained that he went to spend some time with his children, and then, when he was sleeping in bed, Webb became irate and started lashing out at him, hitting his head and scratching him. He grabbed his phone to record, but she snatched it from his hand and threw it. He tried to get away from her and eventually retreated to the bathroom, where she followed him and continued to hit him repeatedly until he got out of the room. He then got a camera to record her and waited until the police arrived. The next day, he went to report the encounter, where officers captured photos showing redness on his left arm, a scratch mark on his left forearm, bruising to his right forearm, and a scratch mark on his right hand.
DUI: Joshua Johnson drinks 1 beer before crashing his car
44-year-old Joshua Johnson was involved in a car crash at Interstate-24 on March 9th. Johnson begged the driver who called in the crash not to involve law enforcement. The driver stated that he smelt alcohol on Johnson, who was fidgety and nervous. Officers made contact and also noticed a strong odor of alcohol as they approached Johnson, who said that he had nothing to drink. However, later, Johnson said he had one beer around an hour before the crash. Johnson consented to sobriety tests and performed poorly. Joshua Johnson was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence.
Luis Delgado assaults ex-girlfriend with tobacco pipe pick during argument in car
23-year-old Luis Delgado was booked on an outstanding warrant from December 15th, 2023, when he assaulted his ex-girlfriend. Citilally Arellano stated that she and Delgado had been broken up for two months. Earlier that day, the couple had argued in the car. The argument escalated when Delgado assaulted her with a tobacco pipe pick, causing visible injury. When officers responded to Amalie Drive, they witnessed Delgado take off on foot, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Delgado was arrested on March 6th.
Brensley Pulisi jumps on boyfriend’s back, assaults him from behind after becoming upset
20-year-old Brensley Pulisi was booked on March 6th for assaulting her boyfriend at her home on Selsey Court South. Kesean Bowen stated that he picked up his girlfriend and took her home. Bowen advised that this is where Pulisi became upset and started taking her anger out on him. Bowen explained that when he tried to leave, Pulisi jumped on his back and began hitting him. Bowen tried to go downstairs, but Pulisi followed him and continued to hit him from behind. Officers observed scratch marks and dried blood on Bowen’s fingers and left ear. Bowen also had a busted lip and blood on his chin. Pulisi was taken into custody for domestic assault on March 6th.
18-year-old Michkiah Works booked for Public Intoxication after having loud dispute
18-year-old Michkiah Works caused a public disturbance on 43rd Avenue North late February 19th. Officers overheard Works having a loud verbal dispute in an alley behind the location until they encountered her in front of the residence on the sidewalk with two liquor bottles in front of her. Officers noticed her showing multiple signs of impairment as they approached her. Due to the reasonable likelihood that the offense would continue, Works was taken into custody for public intoxication.
18-year-old Angelique Ross booked for underage alcohol consumption
18-year-old Angelique Ross was being disorderly at 43rd Avenue North late February 19th. Officers arrived and noticed a strong odor of alcohol when they spoke with Ross, who had a shot glass in her pocket as she admitted to drinking. Ross was taken into custody for underage alcohol consumption on February 20th.
Daisa McKnight assaults cousin during get-together at TSU
26-year-old Dasia Jucole McKnight, her boyfriend, Samuel Henderson, and her sister, Kimberly McKnight, had a scuffle with her cousin, Ronesha Foster, during a get-together at TSU on John Merritt Boulevard in the early hours of January 1st. On January 4th, Foster reported that Kimberly stabbed her in the back repeatedly with scissors. Henderson grabbed the chains around her neck and pulled them until they broke. Dasia hit Foster several times on the body and face, causing her to black out. Foster said she remembers being put in the back seat of one of her other cousins’ cars until her mom arrived to take her home. McKnight was taken into custody for domestic assault on February 19th.
