58-year-old Gladys Wills went wild Saturday when police say she was hit by a vehicle in downtown Nashville and assaulted that driver, for which she received an assault citation. She then got into a physical fight with her daughter, while her granddaughter got a ride home from MNPD. Once they were all back to the residence, she then assaulted her granddaughter, too, grabbing her by the throat, leaving visible injuries. She’s free on a $1,000 bond.

Too drunk for the FGL House in downtown Nashville — Launce Wickesberg arrested
35-year-old Launce Wickesberg was found at the GFL House in downtown Nashville, extremely intoxicated, and unable to walk on his own. Police say he was uncooperative, in need of assistance, and a danger to himself. He was charged with public intoxication.
Man found passed out in parking space after 5-6 beers at Jason Aldean’s Bar — Blake Layman
21-year-old Blake Aaron Layman says he had “5 or 6 beers” at Jason Aldean’s bar before he passed out on the ground in a parking space. When officers found him late Friday night and woke him up, he staggered to another parking spot where he threw up before being arrested for public intoxication.
19-year-old & intoxicated at Rippy’s on Broadway — Christian Ham arrested
19-year-old Christian Clayton Ham, from Oklahoma, posted photos of him drinking at Nashville bars on social media this weekend, with his family. Late Saturday night, he was at Rippy’s on Broadway when venue security was attempting to get him to leave, but he didn’t want to go. He is charged with public intoxication and underage drinking.
Drunk & Disorderly at Tin Roof on Demonbreun — Brandy Putman arrested
Police say 27-year-old Brandy Putman was at Tin Roof on Demonbreun early Saturday morning when her friend became so ill that medics were called for assistance. Brandy was disruptive and would not allow them to care for her friend, and was so belligerent that she was arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
DUI: Man drinks “a few shots” on drive from Broadway to downtown neighborhood — David Hogan
32-year-old David Hogan admits to driving from “somewhere on Broadway” to near Lipscomb University, and taking “a few shots” along the way. When police responded to the area, they located him leaning against a fence in the backyard of a residence, with his arm through the neck hole of his shirt, and profusely sweating. Neighbors say he left his car parked with its hazards on while he was drunkenly roaming through the neighborhood. He blew a 0.139 BAC.
Tourist charged after punching bouncer in face when asked for ID at Honky Tonk Central — Lazaro Wilkerson
25-year-old Lazaro Wilkerson, from Kentucky, is charged with assault and public intoxication after he attempted to enter Honky Tonk Central in #DowntownNashville and reportedly punched the bouncer in the face who asked for his identification. #bspotter
Another Broadway virgin learns his lesson — Nicholas Terry charged with #PublicIntoxication
24-year-old Nicholas Terry was found wandering around downtown Nashville alone in the odd hours between last call and sun-up Tuesday morning. Officers felt he was in such a state that he was unable to care for himself, and could not be left to roam downtown on his own. He was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication. No one retrieved him, so he served his full 8-hour hold before being released back into the city, ready for round two.
Man to police: “The only way I’m leaving is if you take me to jail” — Cody Leonard, arrested.
21-year-old Cody Leonard got into an argument downtown when someone called his brother a derogatory term. Police got everyone to calm down and agree to go their separate ways, except Cody. Cody stated: “The only way I’m leaving is if you take me to jail”. Officers obliged, and booked him on a charge of public intoxication.
Drunken tourist charged after urinating in a mop bucket at Nashville Airport: Rishan Chamdal
24-year-old Rishan Chamdal, of Houston, TX, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Sunday night after airport police say he went into the backroom of the District News shop inside concourse D and urinated into a mop bucket. An employee caught him mid-stream, demanding he stop, and when he didn’t (or couldn’t) she called airport police. He resisted arrest and had to be taken to the ground, and caused a disturbance while being escorted out of the building.
