DUI: Michelle Jacobs asleep behind the wheel with a handgun

53-year-old Michelle Jacobs was arrested for driving under the influence. On February 25th, officers approached a car parked on Murfreesboro Pike. Jacobs was asleep in the driver’s seat with suspected marijuana in her lap. Officers woke her, and she was able to tell them where she was. When asked what was in her lap, she looked down and said it was CBD and brushed it onto the floor. When Jacobs exited the vehicle, officers could smell a strong marijuana odor. Jacobs agreed to take the sobriety test, which she performed poorly on but insisted it was because she had braces on both knees, although from the starting position, she was swaying heavily. Officers say Jacobs exhibited multiple physical factors of being impaired. While conducting a search, a bag of suspected marijuana and a handgun were found. Jacobs was taken into custody.

Tyche Lewis jailed after firing shot during argument

24-year-old Tyche Lewis was arrested for a shooting in a gas station parking lot. On the 25th, officers were dispatched to a report of a shooting on West Creek Pike. Officers spoke with the victim (Quintin Couch), the passenger of the vehicle. They were trying to back into a parking spot at a gas station, and Lewis was speeding past them and had to stop quickly to avoid hitting their car. Couch started recording once Lewis started yelling as she was driving by. She pulled a gun out and pointed it at Couch. She yelled, ” I’M GOING TO SHOOT YOU, AND I DON’T CARE IF YOU CALL THE POLICE BECAUSE I AIN’T SCARED OF THEM!” After making that statement, she put a live round in the chamber and fired one shot in their direction before driving away. Officers looked up the license plate number provided from the video to get her contact information. Officers pulled up to Lewis’ home and also learned that her license had been revoked. She was then placed into custody.

Matthew Brecht flees from police, they meet him at his house

21-year-old Matthew Brecht face multiple charges after police say he fled from them after they observed him traveling at 50 mph in a 35 mphz in his silver Dodge Ram truck late Friday night in Goodlettsville. Officers stopped the pursuit, per policy, but knew the vehicle and where the driver lived. Officers arrived at the location to find the truck parked but still warm to the touch. Brecht’s cell phone and a half-empty bottle of vodka were vidisble in the vehicle’s driver’s seat. Brecht eventually came out of the house and was taken into custody.

Benjamin McCay found inside country club with stolen jewelry from nearby home

27-year-old Benjamin McCay reportedly entered the Hillwood Country Club at 2:45 a.m. Friday, and took an alcoholic beverage, which he consumed. At 9:20 a.m., security found McCay to still be on the property and contacted police. He told police he had no recollection of the incident or knowledge of his actions. During a search of his person, a set of keys to the business were located in McCay’s pocket, along with assorted jewelry. Further investigation showed the jewelry and AirPods were stolen from the home of Kathryn Martin, whose home is adjacent to the Country Club and golf course.

Braidon Barbe — stripped naked to dance in the Symphony Fountain in downtown Nashville

23-year-old Braidon Barbe was one of several men completely naked in the fountain at 1 Symphony Place in downtown Nashville early Sunday morning. He was without pants or undwear as Officer Groeneweg observed him exit the fountain and attempt to get dressed. He told officers, “I’m drunk!” and was taken into custody for public intoxication and public indecency.

Anthony Nelson — splashed around in his boxers in Symphony Fountain with other naked men

25-year-old Anthony Nelson was only wearing a pair of soaked boxers as police observed him in the fountain located at 1 Symphony Place in downtown Nashville with other more naked men early Sunday morning. As he climbed out of the fountain to awaiting officers, he was unsteady on his feet and visibly intoxicated. He was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.

Jonathan Miller — drunk, belligerant, and unable to pay bar tab in downtown Nashville

36-year-old Jonathan Miller was unable to pay his bar tab at Whiskey Bent Saloon in downtown Nashville early Sunday morning and became belligerent and attempted to fight with others inside the bar. He was escorted outside by security and became hostile with security and officers where were on scene. Due to his level of intoxication, Miller was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.

Chase Irvin, 18, charged with underage drinking, resisting arrest in downtown Nashville

18-year-old Chase Irvin attempted to enter Redneck Riviera late Saturday night, but was denied entry due to his level of intoxication. Irvin then attempted to charge past the bounces. After failing to do so, he began to throw the signs outside the bar and was detained by security. As officers arrived to take him into custody for public intoxication and disorderly conduct, Irvin attempted to flee while being detained. He was additionally charged with underage drinking and resisting arrest.
