Night Riderz round-up continues — Kaleb Paulson jailed for rioting

20-year-old Kaleb Paulson was involved in a Night Riderz (NR) Meetup on June 3rd and 17th, 2023, according to police. Night Riderz is one of the top street racer organizations that organize street takeovers and side shows in Nashville. Kaleb Paulson, the defendant, is a reported group leader. On June 3rd, MNPD Officers noticed Kaleb in a red Ford Mustang and others in the racing crew heading toward Space Park South, a known location for sideshow events. The Mustang was registered to Kaleb and had a sticker with “NR” representative of the Night Riderz racing crew, according to detectives. Police stopped Kaleb at Airpark Center Drive near BNA Airport, where Kaleb was wearing NR gear and had evidence of street racing in his vehicle. The Night Riderz also visited known locations on June 17th throughout Space Park South and Sidco-Powell Place. The MNPD officer saw the defendant leave the scene at the meet-up. MNPD Street Racer Initiative officers knew about his red Ford Mustang and Tennessee license plate. Warrants are outstanding for a large number of the ‘Night Riderz’ crew, according to police.

DUI: Colton Weinberg charged after blowing 0.128% BAC on breathalyzer

25-year-old Colton Weinberg was observed behind the wheel of a vehicle parked on the grass median on Ashland City Highway near the Cheatham County line Monday night. They met Colton, who had bloodshot eyes consistent with intoxication. A witness said that they saw Colton follow them in the wrong lane of traffic before he pulled into the median. Police performed standardized field sobriety tests, which Colton performed poorly. Colton told police under Miranda that he had been to Bavarian Brewhouse earlier, where he had two beers and a shot of Crown. Colton was transported to booking, where he yielded a 0.128% BAC.

Elizabeth Bennet shows up to have sex with ex-lover; charged with harassment

61-year-old told police she got drunk Friday and went to the home of her ex-boyfriend, Harris Stephens, with the intention of having sex. She said when she arrived, she knocked on the door a few times and claimed Stephens eventually opened the door and struck her in the face, so she called police to report the incident. A short investigation revealed he had ended their relationship nearly two weeks prior, and the senior lady had taped several notes to his door and slid some into his home under the door. She repeatedly called and left voicemails, despite blocking her numbers continuously. Officers determined there was no assault and that Elizabeth was actually harassing her ex-lover. She was taken into custody and transported to booking. 

Christopher Williams threatens to kill woman over cell phone service

55-year-old Christopher Williams argued with the victim, Tabatha Williams, on the morning of August 18th about his cell phone not working. At this time, the argument reportedly turned into Christopher screaming at Tabatha, “Get the f*/k out of my house. “Tabatha told police that he became aggressive, shoved her, then continued to body-check her out of the house. Christopher screamed at her that he would “f*/king kill her” if she did not leave. A man named Treyvon entered the room and stepped between them before she and Treyvon left the residence.

Cayley Phillips bites an officer who arrested her for DUI; after her parents turned her in to police

24-year-old Cayley Phillips was driving on Briley Parkway early Friday morning when her parents called police and asked them to conduct a welfare check on her, as they believed she may be intoxicated. Officers located Phillips, who was visibly intoxicated. She initially stated she was “just emotional” but later admitted to consuming “three shots” earlier in the evening. She consented to a breathalyzer but became physically aggressive and verbally abusive when she was woken up to provide the sample. During booking, she began to fight officers and bit one on the arm during the struggle. She then broke some of his equipment.
