Inspirational Speaker Patrick Walker-Reese fails to appear in court for using phone while driving
37-year-old Inspirational Speaker Patrick Walker-Reese was using his phone and tapping his screen while driving down I-40 near mile marker 209 in the early hours of April 23rd, 2023. Officers observed this and conducted a traffic stop, and then he was cited for driving while using his cell phone. Walker-Reese failed to pay the fine or appear in court on June 16th, 2023, so on August 18th, 2023, a warrant was issued for his arrest. Walker-Reese was taken into custody on March 25th.
Julie Berlin booked after using her phone driving down I-24 East
54-year-old Julie Annette Berlin used her phone while she drove down I-24 East on June 28th, 2023. Officers observed this and conducted a traffic stop. Officers cited Berlin for the violation during the stop. Berlin was booked on the citation of driving while using a cell phone on March 17th.

21-year-old Alexia Jadyn Jones was observed using her phone while she drove down Briley Parkway around 8 p.m. on July 16th, 2023. Officers observed this and initiated a traffic stop. Jones was cited for the violation. Jones was booked on the citation of driving while using a cell device on March 7th. Alexia Jadyn Jones of Beaty Blvd in Gallatin, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on March 7th, charged with driving with a cell device. She was released on her own recognizance.

36-year-old Travis Ramsey Mitchell drove down Old Hickory Boulevard while looking down at his cell phone in December 2022. Officers observed this, conducted a traffic stop, and cited him for the violation. He failed to appear in court and was issued an arrest warrant.
