Harvie Alay-Muralles drunkenly flees car accident

22-year-old Harvie Joel Alay-Muralles was involved in a car accident at the intersection of Bell Road and Blue Hole Road on December 9th. Officers arrived and spoke with the involved parties when Alay-Muralles returned to the scene. Witnesses at the scene identified him as one of the individuals in the at-fault vehicle. Alay-Muralles was observed to be visibly intoxicated as they Mirandized and placed him into custody for leaving the scene of an accident and public intoxication.

Deon Henderson slams baby-mama into wall, tells her “You know I’m bigger than you”

30-year-old Deon Jamal Henderson was involved in a domestic dispute with the mother of his two kids, Austina Harper, at their shared residence on Old Hickory Boulevard on December 9th. Harper advised officers that Henderson had been abusing her for years and that when he came home from work, he began to argue with her before ripping the Ring doorbell camera off the door. Then, she stated she told him that she did not want to argue in front of their children, so they went to their bedroom, where he grabbed her by the wrists and threw her onto the bed. Harper attempted to record the incident, but he grabbed her phone, telling her, “You know I’m bigger than you; I could just pick you up and throw you.” Henderson pushed her up against the wall when she stood up, which made her slam her hands into the wall, breaking her fingernails and causing them to bleed.  Then, Harper ran to their neighbor’s house, who allowed her to use their phone to call the police, and Henderson fled the scene. He was taken into custody for domestic assault on December 11

Zuri Lawrence threatens neighbor with baseball bat over loud music

30-year-old Zuri Lawrence was threatening her neighbor, Shanica Rutledge, at the River Retreat Apartments on the morning of March 22nd. Rutledge stated Lawrence came to her front door with a baseball bat. Upset about the loud music she was playing, she then hit the front door, causing damage. Rutledge also provided pictures she took of Lawrence holding a bat as she advised she was in immediate fear for her and her child’s safety during the incident. On March 31st, officers presented a photo lineup where Rutledge positively identified Lawrence. Lawrence was placed into custody for aggravated assault on December 11th.

Joseph Kellogg fights multiple people in Hilton Hotel lobby

36-year-old Joseph Leroy Kellogg started an altercation in the lobby of the Hilton Hotel with Kenneth Dale Hadley, Arthur Eugene Davis, and Hayden Brent Miller around 5 a.m. on December 10th. Officers responded to the incident and spoke with Kellogg, who was visibly agitated as he was detained and requested his attorney. Then, they talked to Hadley, the hotel security guard; Davis, a hotel employee; and Miller, a hotel guest. Hadley advised he responded to an altercation in the lobby bathroom, where he found Kellogg and two to three other individuals. Kellogg left the hotel and re-entered, and Hadley told him he needed to leave the property, but Kellogg refused and took a fighting stance against Hadley, which initiated a physical altercation between Kellogg, Hadley, Davis, and Miller. Kellogg pushed Davis and punched Miller, but only Davis wished to prosecute. Officers reviewed surveillance of the scuffle, but several points were not in the frames. The video showed Kellogg in a fighting stance and moving towards Hadley, getting in his face. Then, Davis and Miller came to Hadley’s aid and could be seen talking to Kellogg before he pushed Davis, punched Miller, and chased after him. Hadley got in between Kellogg and Miller before grabbing hold of Kellogg, and then he punched Hadley in the face, placed his hands around his neck, and grabbed ahold of his windpipe. Officers observed Hadley’s lip was swollen and his neck was red. Kellogg was taken into custody for strangulation, assault, and aggravated trespassing.

James Bogan grabs roommate by chest hair, assaults him

60-year-old James Bogan had an altercation with his roommate, Michael Dudeck, at their shared residence on December 8th. Dudeck advised that the argument escalated when Bogan pushed him, holding him against the wall. Then, he said he believed Bogan wanted to wrestle, so he performed a takedown. Dudeck thought the scuffle was over with, but Bogan grabbed him by the chest hair and struck him in the face, leaving marks. Then, they went to the ground again, causing swelling and abrasion on Dudeck’s wrist. Bogan was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Latasha Weeden tries to forcefully spread girlfriend’s legs to prove she cheated

42-year-old Latasha Weeden was involved in a domestic dispute with her girlfriend, Tasha Childs, at their shared residence on Old Hickory Boulevard in the early hours of May 3rd. Childs stated that she came home, and Weeden was upset, accusing her of infidelity, and began punching her in the face, head, and back, causing visible injuries to her bottom lip and bruising to her back. Weeden tried to open Tasha’s legs to prove that she had been cheating, and Tasha scratched her on the inner thigh. The assault finally ended when Weeden’s stepmother called Weeden, telling her to leave the residence before the police were called, causing her to flee. Weeden was taken into custody for domestic assault on December 9th.

Jacob Williams assaults woman over coins, tells her “You are a Wh*re!”

35-year-old Jacob Williams had an altercation with Ashley Gail Meeks on Dickerson Pike in the late hours of August 30th. Meeks spoke with the officers and advised that she took an Uber to meet with Williams to sell her coin collection and hang out. She stated they went to the back bedroom to chill, and a few hours later, they walked out towards the front area of the trailer park to the community trailer. She said that Williams got into an unknown silver four-doored sedan, which drove him back to his trailer, so she messaged him regarding his whereabouts because they were supposed to meet at the community trailer. Meeks waited on the front steps, and another individual came out and told her that she could not hang out if she did not have a space in the community trailer, so she began to walk to William’s trailer to retrieve her belongings. When she got to his trailer, a female named Ashley answered. She said she had never seen Meeks and needed to leave. Meeks advised her that she would not leave until she got her coins back or the $200 for them. Then, Williams reportedly came out and grabbed her hair, stating, “I owe you no money! you are a whore!” Meeks said that Williams pulled her down the steps, dragged her across the ground, grabbed her phone from her, hit her in the face, and threw the phone, causing it to break. Meeks tried calling the police during this incident but could not until she ran away to the front of the trailer park, contacting them via Siri. Williams was taken into custody for vandalism, theft, and domestic assault on December 9th.

Javon Edwards assaults sister at McGavock High School basketball game

20-year-old Javon Lewis Edwards was involved in a domestic disturbance with his sister, Eryonae Miller, at McGavock High School during a basketball game on December 8th. Miller flagged officers down and stated she and Edwards were in the car arguing about her not wanting to leave the game. Then, she opened the car door to get out, and he sped up, causing her to fall out. Edwards grabbed her shirt close to her neck and strangled her. Miller was able to get away from him and run into the school, where a female staff member checked her for injuries, observing the red mark on the left side of her neck and the red mark above her right breast, consistent with where she said he placed his hands. Officers spoke with Edwards, who stated he “jacked” her up but did not hit her. Edwards was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Carmen Kemp drunkenly assaults girlfriend during dispute

59-year-old Carmen Linette Kemp had a domestic disagreement with her girlfriend, Van Vanessa Lancaster, at Tarrywood Lane on December 11th. Officers arrived and spoke with Lancaster, who advised she and Kemp had been arguing. Kemp was visibly intoxicated and flustered when she talked to the police and began to spark an altercation with Lancaster when officers were speaking with her in the living room. They warned Kemp not to argue with Lancaster, but she refused and eventually tried to provoke her physically, hitting her on the arm. Officers observed this, deemed Kemp the primary aggressor, and placed her in custody for domestic assault.
