Laura Wright charged after keying car in road rage incident

28-year-old Laura Wright was booked this week for a road rage incident that took place on Old Hickory Boulevard. Raymond Bateman told police that on April 23rd Wright sped up to tailgate him while blowing her horn and flipping him a bird with her middle finger. They both stopped and got out of their cars, then Wright walked up to Bateman and punched him in the mouth. He got back in his vehicle and called the police. While on the phone, he saw Wright scratching the hood of his car with a key. Two autobody shops estimated the repair would cost just under $2,000.

Brandon Keener bounced from Ascend Amphitheater

34-year-old Brandon Keener was ejected from Ascend Amphitheater late Saturday night after causing a drunken disturbance. Once outside the gates, Keener became argumentative, disruptive, and attempted to re-enter the venue. He then walked away on his own, but once again returned to argue about re-entering the venue. Officers at the entrance gave him multiple opportunities to walk away, but Keenver refused and was taken into custody.

La Avya Bragg jailed after causing disturbance to neighbors — Karma

24-year-old La Avya Bragg was jailed on May 6th after neighbors called police, reporting that she was yelling and banging on the walls so loud they couldn’t sleep. Officers responded to Palestine Avenue and heard screaming and banging coming from an apartment. When they approached, Bragg had the door open and was screaming. When officers tried to speak with her, she screamed louder and became irate, banging on walls and throwing things around. The officers explained that her disruptive behavior was keeping the neighbors up, and if she didn’t stop, she would be arrested. Bragg started screaming even louder and was placed into custody. She yelled in the patrol car, and once at booking, she continued to yell and kick the door.

Mason Lackey fights bouncers at Jason Aldean’s bar as he’s being escorted out #BadBlood

21-year-old Mason Lackey decided to fight security guards at Jason Aldean’s bar in the early hours of Saturday morning. He was reportedly fighting with other patrons before becoming involved with the bouncers who interveined. He was eventually escorted out of the venue, where he continued to be combative and disorderly. Metro Nashville Police then took him into custody and charged him with disorderly conduct.

Samuel Barrett too drunk and disorderly for downtown Nashville — You’re on Your Own, Kid

25-year-old Samuel Barrett was observed outside of Whiskey Bent Saloon in downtown Nashville early Saturday morning as he was arguing with a group of people, including his friends. He was becoming disruptive to the public and had trouble standing on his own. He was unable to articulate actual sentences when he spoke with offices, who deemed him unable to care for himself. He was taken into custody and transported to booking.

Ryan Slice booked on road rage vandalism warrant; punched through car window

40-year-old Ryan Slice was booked this week on an outstanding warrant from 2015 after a road rage incident on 4th Avenue. Michael Walker told police that he was driving on 4th toward Broadway when Slice pulled up to him in a silver Ford Fusion yelling and accusing Walker of cutting him off. Slice tried to get Walker out of his vehicle, and when he refused, he began to kick his back door, causing a dent, and punched the driver’s side window until it shattered. The estimate for the repair of Walker’s vehicle was over $1,000. Slice is free on a $1,000 cash bond.

DUI: Lindsey Hill riding on rims, can’t answer questions, has to pee right now!

28-year-old “paralegal and dog mom” Lindsey Hill was booked Thursday night after police say she was extremely drunk behind the wheel on Donelson Pike. Witnesses told police that they saw Hill hit a curb while driving on the rims of her car and thought she may have been in an accident. Officers found Hill behind the wheel in a Mcdonald’s parking lot. Her car was missing the left passenger side tire. Hill almost fell getting out of the vehicle, she could barely stand, and police could smell alcohol on her breath as she told them that she had “3 mixed drinks.” Police had a difficult time understanding her as her speech was extremely slurred. She agreed to sobriety tests and performed poorly. She wouldn’t answer any questions and would only say she “had to pee.”

Alexis Jackson urinated on the flower vase of her father-in-law’s gravestone

25-year-old Alexis Jackson was jailed on May 4th after urinating on the flower vase from her father-in-law’s gravesite. Police responded to Forest Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens and spoke with Shawn Jackson who said his soon-to-be ex-wife Alexis had stolen flowers and urinated on his father’s flower vase. He was brought this information by a mutual friend Sandra Merritt. Sandra told police that on the day of the incident she picked Alexis up to take her to her new boyfriend’s house, Chrisopher Meece in Hendersonville. On the way Sandra stopped to use the restroom and when she returned to the car, she saw Alexis with the flower vase. Sandra questioned her about the flower vase and Alexis told her it was from her father in law’s gravesite. She admitted to Sandra that she took the vase and urinated out of retaliation because she believes that Shawn vandalized her father’s gravesite. Alexis left the vase in Sandra’s car once she got to the home of her new boyfriend, Christopher Meece, and that’s when Sandra returned it and told Shawn about the incident.

Justin Rivers says he took “Jack and Daniels” when asked what drugs he was on

22-year-old Justin Rivers was jailed Friday morning after trying to break the glass of Ryman’s Auditorium’s guard shack on John Lewis Way. Police responded after a call from security officers at the location. When police arrived, they saw Rivers shirtless, yelling loudly and punching the glass of the guard shack. Officers immediately detained him and could smell alcohol coming from his breath. Officers asked Rivers if he had taken anything after seeing pinpoint pupils; he replied, “Jack and Daniels.” While officers were speaking to Rivers, he made remarks about bombings, shootings, and other remarks that didn’t make sense. He was taken into custody as he was a danger to himself and the offense would likely continue. While awaiting intake, he continued to make absurd remarks about traffic stops, the keys to his apartment, bombings, and drugs. He continuously went from quiet and respectful to loud and angry.
