27-year-old Leslie Liliana Samayoa caused a disturbance at The Hyatt Place Hotel on 3rd Avenue South in the early hours of May 11th. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the hotel staff, who advised them that Samayoa was “highly intoxicated” and had started filming them after refusing to leave. Officers located Samayoa sitting in the lobby, recording the employees on her phone, and asked her if they could help her. Officers also asked if Samayoa was staying at the location, to which she said she was, adding that the room was in her boyfriend’s name. Then, Samayoa repeatedly told officers to “look at the cameras” even when officers asked what they needed to be looking for. She made nonsensical statements during their interaction, saying, “The staff…I want them registered!” before admitting that she had three alcoholic drinks earlier in the night. Samayoa began yelling at the staff and guests walking by, stating, “Those people are out to get me!” Officers told her to calm down, but she continued screaming at random patrons as they entered the establishment. Officers then asked Samayoa’s boyfriend to come and help her to their room. When he arrived, Samayoa yelled at him, telling him to “Shut up!” and pushed him away. Samayoa was taken into custody for disorderly conduct.

Dawson Weich found passed out in front of Hank Williams Jr. Boogie Bar on Broadway
20-year-old Dawson Lukas Weich was found passed out in front of Hank Williams Jr. Boogie Bar in the afternoon hours of May 12th. Officers woke him up and attempted to question him, during which he showed multiple signs of intoxication, reeking of booze. Weich was deemed unable to care for himself and was taken into custody for public intoxication.
George Thomas charged after slapping multiple women’s butts, being “unreasonably annoying”
27-year-old George Mathew Thomas was taken into custody for public intoxication and disorderly conduct on May 11th. Officers were approached by a group of females, who advised them that Thomas was slapping their butts and was being “unreasonably annoying.” When officers located him, they noticed he reeked of alcohol and showed signs of impairment. The group of females did not wish to prosecute for the incident. Thomas was then detained for the occurrence.
Franklin Orellana-Maya indicted on 4 counts of sexual battery involving young child
A Davidson County Grand Jury indicted 26-year-old Franklin Orellana-Maya for four counts of sexual battery on March 13th. The indictment alleges that Orellana-Maya, between the 1st day of June 2023 and the 2nd day of August 2023, in Davidson County, Tennessee, and before the finding of this indictment, did intentionally engage in unlawful sexual contact with a child less than 13 years of age. Orellana-Maya was taken into custody on April 30th and charged with four counts of sexual battery. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $400,000.
Jada Tomlin breaks boyfriend’s iPhone 13 during confrontation over social media posts
21-year-old Jada Tomlin had a domestic altercation with her boyfriend, Patrick Pointer Jr., at his Old Hickory Boulevard apartment around 4:55 a.m. on May 9th. Upon arrival, officers talked with Tomlin, who said she was sleeping at Pointer Jr.’s apartment. Jada stated that Patrick woke her up around 4 a.m. and confronted her about a social media post he saw at work. Jada said she was upset, took his iPhone 13 from the bed, and threw it, shattering the screen. Patrick responded by breaking her $5 lamp, sparking an argument where they started pushing each other. Then, Jada stated Patrick grabbed her by the neck and pushed her to the ground. When officers spoke with Pointer Jr., he told them he came home from work and brought up the social media post he had seen. Then, Patrick said she took his $600 iPhone 13 and threw it onto the ground, shattering the screen. Patrick stated Jada then began pushing him several times. Pointer Jr. noted that he pushed her back in self-defense but denied grabbing her neck. Tomlin was deemed the primary aggressor and then was taken into custody for domestic assault.
Ja’Toni Clay strikes family member multiple times during altercation over car ride
20-year-old Ja’Toni Clay had a domestic dispute with Tony Clay at The Arbours of Hermitage Apartment complex on May 9th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Tony, who stated he drove to Ja’Toni’s workplace to pick her up, during which a verbal altercation ensued. This caused Tony to leave and return to his apartment. Tony said when he arrived, Ja’Toni had already found transportation to where he was and started striking him multiple times, leaving visible marks on his arm. Then, officers spoke with Ja’Toni, who told them that Tony attempted to drive away with her leg still in the car, which angered her. Ja’Toni called an Uber and returned to The Arbours of Hermitage to wait for him to show up. She said when he arrived, she started hitting him until her boyfriend intervened. Ja’Toni Clay was deemed the primary aggressor and was then taken into custody for domestic assault and not having a driver’s license.
Lucas McClain strangles boyfriend underneath bridge on 8th Avenue
32-year-old Lucas McClain had an altercation with his boyfriend, Matthew Lee Harber, underneath the bridge on 8th Avenue South in the early hours of May 10th. Officers observed Harber in a prone position on the sidewalk outside Party Fowl without a shirt or shoes. Officers noticed Harber also had visible injuries on his neck, left shoulder, and elbow. Harber then stated that he and McClain argued over not having any cigarettes. During the argument, he said McClain “Raised his hand up like he was going to hit me, so I punched him three times on the head.” Then Harber said he was “taken to the ground by McClain, and he had his arms around my neck.” Harber added that McClain had physically abused him on several past occasions. When officers spoke with McClain, he stated that they had argued verbally, and when Harber started to walk away, he grabbed him. Harber then told them that he did not lose consciousness when McClain strangled him but threw all his stuff away and ran from him. Deputies located a couple also staying underneath the bridge, one of which was Renee Killburn, a witness. Killburn told officers that she had seen McClain “physically assaulting” Harber. McClain was taken into custody for aggravated assault.
Jeante Tate smashes girlfriend’s iPhone 15 after making fun of her work on Instagram
19-year-old Jeante Lashawn Tate had an altercation with his girlfriend, Monique Austin, on February 14th. Officers were dispatched to a Whispering Oaks Place residence, where they spoke with Austin, who stated she and Tate argued over him making fun of her work on Instagram. Austin said he then started taking all her clothes out of her closet. Austin stated when she tried to stop him, Tate pushed her head, grabbed her iPhone 15, and threw it on the floor, causing the screen to shatter. Austin said the phone cost over $1,000 and that her friend tried to intervene, which sparked a scuffle between them and Tate. A warrant was issued for Tate’s arrest that day. Tate was taken into custody for vandalism, domestic assault, and not having a valid driver’s license on May 9th.
Torrianna Finney & 10-year-old child caught stealing over $1,000 worth of items from Walmart
18-year-old Torrianna Finney was taken into custody for theft and contributing to the delinquency of a minor on May 9th. Officers were dispatched to the Dickerson Pike Wal-Mart. They were advised that the loss prevention agents had a 10-year-old male, Finney’s boyfriend’s little brother, in custody for shoplifting over $1,000 of merchandise. When officers arrived, they spoke with the young male, who stated he was inside the store with his brother’s girlfriend, Finney, and provided them with her Tennessee ID. Then, Finney walked back into the store with his backpack on, and he pointed her out on camera. Officers located her and brought her to the loss prevention office. The cart that the 10-year-old had contained female clothes, body products, children’s toys, and other various items. Finney told them that she had put a few things into the cart, adding that she had lost sight of her boyfriend’s brother. Finney did not know he would try to leave with the cart. She then told officers that she did not have a way to pay for the merchandise. The 10-year-old told officers that he and Finney were putting items in the cart. Officers searched her bag and found two brand-new sports bras and watches. She was then detained for the occurrence.
Alarrion Oglesby flees police after stealing merchandise at Publix
22-year-old Alarrion Monique Oglesby and her brother stole merchandise from the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard Publix on May 3rd. Investigators observed them walking out of the establishment with a full cart without paying. Her brother put the items into a gold Dodge Journey and entered the passenger seat with the window down. Officers approached and demanded they exit the vehicle and turn it off. Oglesby then put the vehicle in drive and sped out of the parking lot. Officers noted the license plate and later discovered it was registered to her. On May 8th, they spoke with Oglesby at her Smith Springs Road residence, where she stated that she drove a gold Dodge Journey and that she gave her brother a ride to go “shopping” a couple of days prior. Oglesby was taken into custody for theft and evading arrest on May 9th.
