Liam Bailey facetimes girlfriend so she can watch him cut her rug in half with scissors

23-year-old Liam Bailey was jailed Friday, charged with vandalism after cutting her rug in half with scissors. Mackenzie Snyder called the police to report her boyfriend, Bailey, Facetimed her after the two had been arguing about her leaving the apartment and she did so. She answered the video call, during which Baily cut up her rug. During an interview, Bailey admitted to the rug rampage and also admitted to throwing her clothing on the floor in a fit of anger.

Joseph Hamelin’s wild night at Kid Rock’s Bar in downtown Nashville

28-year-old Joseph Hamelin was at Kid Rock’s bar in downtown Nashville Thursday night, where he was extremely intoxicated and throwing things at other patrons. Security made contact with him and asked him to leave, a request he refused. A second bouncer soon arrived, and he was escorted to the stairwell, where he fell to dead weight and refused to move. He assumed the fetal position and told bouncers he wasn’t going anywhere, but “y’all can take me wherever.” He was handcuffed, and police were called to transport him to night court. While in the back of the patrol car, he vomited, earning him another charge. Once inside booking, Hamelin told his friend, who was also in booking, “I puked in that fucking dude’s car!”

Joseph Horsley — too drunk to fly at Nashville International Airport

56-year-old Joseph Horsley was jailed on April 2nd after being too drunk and falling at Nashville International Airport. Police responded to terminal B to find Horsley lying on the ground, reeking of alcohol. He had red, watery eyes and a red flushed face. Police helped him to his feet, but he was still very unsteady. Horsley was uncooperative and aggressive with the police and was arrested for public intoxication as he was a danger to himself.

DUI: Vernon Lewis says he smoked “one blunt” prior to driving and crashing

22-year-old Vernon Lewis was jailed on March 31st after crashing into another vehicle while reportedly high on marijuana. Lewis failed to yield to oncoming traffic before turning left at a green light and struck a vehicle. When police approached, they smelled marijuana and asked Lewis if he had anything to drink or smoke that night, and he told them he had “one blunt” prior to the crash. He declined sobriety tests and was transported to booking. The other driver of the vehicle suffered minor injuries.

Charlie Boyer arrested after refusing to leave a downtown Nashville store

28-year-old Charlie Boyer was jailed on March 31st after he refused to leave the premises of a store near 12th Avenue S and Broadway. Officers were working on a lane closure and went to a nearby business for a meal break, where they were flagged down by an employee and told that Boyer was refusing to leave. Police also asked Boyer to leave and told him the employee didn’t want him around the store. Boyer told police that he was not from the area. Police told Boyer that he would be arrested for trespassing if he didn’t leave, but he still refused and was arrested for criminal trespassing.

Chase Thomas charged in assault of his wife as they go through a divorce

34-year-old Chase Thomas was jailed on April 2nd after forcefully taking his wife’s car keys from her and threatening to kill her. Police responded to Lakeside Drive, where Catherine Thomas was picking up some of her belongings. Chase and Catherine are going through a divorce, and Catherine has moved out. When she was heading back to her car to leave, Chase opened her door and grabbed her keys out of the ignition with his left hand. With his right hand, he shoved her and scratched her chest. Chase took Catherine’s keys and her cell phone into the house. Catherine pleaded with him to get her things back, or she would call the police. Chase balled his fist and said, “If you fucking do that, I will kill you or have you killed,” before walking away. Catherine took her belongings and left.

Naked and not afraid — Just say no to drugs: Selena Archer arrested

21-year-old Selena Archer was jailed on April 4th after trying to break into someone’s home and completely undressing herself in the front yard before she left the property. Police responded to the complainant, who told them that a black female was pushing and pulling on her door, trying to get in, and that she rang the door about 20 times. Officers canvased the area and saw Archer walking towards them fully unclothed. They asked her what was happening, and she said, “Just take me to jail.” Officers arrested Archer for public indecency. When they asked for her name, she gave them several names and birthdays. She was mumbling and slurring her speech; officers believed she was under the influence of narcotics. Archer was arrested for several charges and transported to booking, where she ended up providing her social security number and was able to be identified.

Brian Maza charged with personal marijuana possession by petty Airport Police Officer

22-year-old Brian Maza was charged with simple possession of marijuana by Airport Police after he was observed speeding on airport property, where he also works. During the traffic stop, Airport Police Officer Ahmed Aly said he could smell marijuana, so he conducted a search of Maza’s vehicle. A small amount of personal marijuana was seized, and Maza was issued a state citation. He was booked on that charge this week.
