30-year-old Zaid Hisham-Ata Amro had a scuffle with security at Whiskey Row late on December 31st. Whiskey Row security warned Amro to leave due to him being disorderly and intoxicated. Officers observed Amro resisting and fighting with security while being escorted out of the establishment. The security staff managed to detain Amro at the bar as officers arrived. Zaid Amro was taken into custody for disorderly conduct on January 1st.

Lyle Shipley Jr assaults wife of 16 years during argument

40-year-old Lyle Shipley Jr. had a domestic altercation with his wife of 16 years, Cassidy Shipley, early January 1st. Officers were dispatched to 1st Avenue North and Church Street regarding a call for service. Officers arrived, and spoke with Cassidy, who advised them that she and Lyle argued about her wanting to go home. Then, he took her phone and pushed her to the ground, causing a minor laceration on her right hand. He fled from the scene before the officers arrived. Lyle Shipley Jr. was taken into custody for domestic assault.

DUI: 19-year-old Alec Jacobs found unconscious in his vehicle after drinking 1 White Claw

19-year-old Alec Michael Jacobs blocked a lane of travel lane near Old Hickory Boulevard and Health Park Drive early January 1st. Jacobs drove off the right side of the roadway, over the curb. Officers observed this and noticed the keys in the ignition while the car was still in “drive.” Jacobs was unconscious, drooling in the driver’s seat, with an opened White Claw in his lap. They had to shake the car and yell at him to wake him up. Jacobs was visibly intoxicated as he admitted to consuming the White Claw in the vehicle. Jacobs was also unaware of when he had left Murfreesboro. He consented to sobriety tests, performed poorly, and provided a breath sample, resulting in 0.084% BAC. Jacobs was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence, an open container violation, and underage alcohol consumption.

Alfred Arnett drunkenly tries to fight security at AJ’s Bar on Broadway

36-year-old Alfred Wayne Arnett was talking inappropriately to women and refusing to leave AJ’s Bar on Broadway on December 30th. Officers arrived and observed Arnett fighting with security. Security advised officers that Arnett was asked to leave three times as patrons complained about his level of intoxication and behavior. Arnett told them he wanted to fight, initiating a scuffle as security tried to get Arnett out of the bar. Alfred Arnett was taken into custody for disorderly conduct.

Jonathan De La Rosa too drunk for Jason Aldean’s Bar in downtown Nashville

25-year-old Jonathan De La Rosa was reportedly acting disorderly at Jason Aldean’s bar on Broadway late New Year’s Eve. Security warned Jonathan about his behavior. He continued to be disruptive, so he was placed into handcuffs and escorted out of the bar due to his level of intoxication. Jonathan was turned over to Metro Nashville Police, who transported him to booking and charged him with public intoxication.

DUI Arrest: Dayne Ryan Baughman jailed after driving wrong way on Trinity Lane

28-year-old Dayne Ryan Baughman was reportedly driving on the wrong side of W Trinity Lane near I-65 in the early hours of Sunday morning when police were alerted to the scene. The car was stopped when officers arrived. It had damage to the front fender and a blown-out tire. All occupants identified Baughman as the driver of the Mini Cooper. He had trouble balancing and had slurred speech. He took 24 steps on the 9-step test and performed poorly on all other field sobriety tests. He stated he only lived a short distance away and was trying to drive home. Officers gave him a ride to booking, where he was charged with DUI, and Baughman admitted to drinking alcohol prior to driving.

Jacob Marsden drives into an unrelated DUI traffic stop… while also intoxicated

Metro Nashville Police were conducting a DUI investigation in a parking lot with another individual when 25-year-old Jacob Marsden drove his grey Ford F-150 into the same parking lot of the closed business. Officers advised him the business was closed, and he gave a confused look in response, prompting officers to see if he needed further assistance. Marsden reportedly had slurred speech, could not form coherent sentences, and was unable to walk without assistance. He told police his anxiety and depression were causing his impairment; despite this, he refused all medical assistance offered. He reportedly reeked of alcohol, refused all sobriety testing, and was transported to booking.

DUI: Michelle Rind unaware she was in crash, cries hysterically to go home after two glasses of wine

After 29-year-old Michelle Rind was involved in a two-vehicle crash at Charlotte Ave & 46 Ave N at 8:30 p.m. on December 29th. Officers noticed Rind had dilated pupils, and when asked for her driver’s license and insurance, Rind stated she did not understand. Rind then asked officers if she was involved in an accident and admitted to drinking “two glasses of wine.” Officers said she then began to cry hysterically and then stopped crying to say she didn’t understand why she could not go home. Despite this, when officers told Rind that she may be too intoxicated to drive, she agreed with them. After being read her Miranda rights and Tennessee Implied Consent multiple times, Rind stated she did not understand and refused to perform field sobriety tasks and a breathalyzer test. Michelle Rind was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence.

18-year-old Fischer Krebs found with 80 THC vape pens, gun, and two bags of marijuana

18-year-old Fischer Krebs was in the driver’s seat of a pickup truck on December 29th, which was the subject of a call to police. The caller believed the driver and passenger to be trespassing on private property. Krebs exited the vehicle when officers arrived, along with the passenger. When speaking with Krebs, officers noticed he had a strong odor of marijuana, to which Krebs admitted they had smoked a THC vape pen inside the vehicle. A search of the vehicle yielded 80 THC vape pens, a handgun, and two bags of marijuana. Fischer Krebs was taken into custody, transported to the Davidson County Detention Center, and booked without incident.
