Tourist Sean Gaddis flees car accident scene, located at Nashville Airport

51-year-old tourist Sean Gaddis from North Carolina was in an automobile crash on I-40 E near the I-65 split on the afternoon of May 17. Police say that due to the location, both drivers agreed to continue to the next exit at Fessler Lane to complete the report and exchange information. Instead of stopping at any of the next exits, Gaddis reportedly drove to the airport to continue his day. Police located him at the Nashville International Airport and charged him with leaving the scene of an accident with property damage. He returned to Nashville to be booked on that citation this week.
