Masi Kingston in custody: now on tour of county jails across the state

31-year-old Masi Kingston, who last month walked out of a police station where bounty hunters were surrendering him, is once again in jail this morning. He was captured in Atlanta Tuesday night by his Nashville-based bondswoman, Keeley Benoit. He attempted to flee as he exited a club in Atlanta and had to be tased by the bounty-hunting team. While on the ground, Masi screamed, “Call my lawyer, call my sister!” as other nearby men attacked the bounty hunters with designer handbags and purses. In Davidson County, Kingston was wanted after failing to appear for an evading arrest court date. He has since posted a $22,000 bond for those charges and is awaiting transfer to the next county. Williamson County has a hold on him to answer for state probation offenses, which is where he is currently pending transfer. He has additional open warrants in Montgomery and Hamblen counties in Tennessee and also in Texas, though Texas is unlikely to extradite him.
