Feras Shoukeir charged in assault of wife after she refuses to have sex with him

43-year-old TSU professor Feras Shoukeir was jailed Monday after assaulting his wife when she reportedly refused to have sex with him. Layale Ajamy told police that Shoukeir walked into her bedroom and asked to have sex with her, but she refused because she had filed for divorce weeks earlier. She stated he hit her in her left arm and shoulder area, pushed her to the floor, and pulled her by her hair. She then went outside to the backyard and called her sister until she finally left the house after several more minutes of arguing and drove to Hermitage Library for assistance. She waited in her car until officers arrived and obtained an Order Of Protection. A warrant was issued for Shoukeir’s arrest.

Musician Paige Christine Brumm “hammer punches” bouncer on head on Broadway

22-year-old “Paige Christine” Brumm was booked on October 27th for a citation issued on October 5th regarding an assault at Honkytonk Central in downtown Nashville. On 10/5, officers spoke with George Kerhoulas, an Honkytonk Central employee, who stated that Brumm became upset when he told her to throw her drinks away when exiting the club, and she struck him on the top of his head with a “hammer fist” as people exited the bar. Jullianou Palermo, another staff member, also witnessed the assault.

Bryon Kirkpatrick jailed after threatening to shoot up a business; reports wife missing

28-year-old Bryon Thomas Kirkpatrick contacted police wanting to report his girlfriend missing on October 28. Officers were assisting Kirkpatrick when he told them that he was going to get his firearm to shoot up an unrelated establishment as he was visibly intoxicated. Kirkpatrick went to numerous officers to report the same crime, but officers were advised that Kirkpatrick’s girlfriend was at home. Kirkpatrick was taken into custody for public intoxication due to his inability to care for himself.

Rocco Cipriano pushes woman to the ground during attack & holds her down

29-year-old Nicolas “Rocco” Cipriano was involved in a domestic disturbance with Hayley Murphy at Morris Apartments on October 30th. Officers were dispatched and observed Murphy crying on the ground, being comforted by a friend, Mr. Michael Ward Leverrier, when they arrived. Leverrier told officers that he heard Murphy and Cipriano screaming at each other and observed him holding her down on the ground. Then, Leverrier stated he stopped Cipriano from hurting Murphy and told him to walk home due to his level of anger and intoxication. Cipriano let Murphy up after Leverrier told him to calm down. Cipriano was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.
