Heidi Foster drunkenly tries to re-enter Nissan Stadium after being kicked out of Morgan Wallen concert

51-year-old Heidi Ann Foster caused a disturbance at the Morgan Wallen concert at Nissan Stadium late May 2nd. Security notified officers that she was impaired and was told to leave the location. When officers spoke with Foster, she reeked of alcohol, showing signs of intoxication before falling to the ground. Her husband came and agreed to leave with her. The couple left the inside of the stadium but remained outside the gate. Heidi’s husband then left her at the entrance. This was when Heidi tried to go past APEX security to enter the venue again. Foster was taken into custody for public intoxication on May 3rd.

DUI: Christopher Hawkins found sleeping in his car with gun under his seat

25-year-old Christopher Hawkins was observed sleeping in his driver’s seat while the engine was on near 3rd Avenue South and Korean Veterans Boulevard in the early hours of May 5th. When officers arrived, they approached Hawkins and had him exit his vehicle, where they noticed he reeked of alcohol before he admitted to drinking. He consented to sobriety tests and performed poorly. Officers discovered that Hawkins’ license had expired. During a subsequent search, officers found a loaded 9mm handgun under his seat with two additional filled magazines. Hawkins was taken into custody for driving under the influence, weapon possession while under the influence, and not having a valid driver’s license.

Cody Matthews charged with harassment, calls ex-girlfriend 172 times in two hours

33-year-old Cody Matthews had a domestic incident with his ex-girlfriend, Kayla Michelle Pugh, on the night of May 5th. Officers arrived at Pugh’s Woodycrest Avenue residence, where they spoke with Pugh, who stated she and Matthews had an agreement regarding a motorcycle. Since then, they had not been getting along, but she wanted the bike. Pugh said she advised Matthews she was on her way to pick up the motorcycle, and after their phone call, he continued to call her 172 times in two hours while texting her in between calls. She responded, telling him to “leave her alone,” but he disregarded. Pugh told officers his actions made her uncomfortable and annoyed, adding that she just wanted him to stop contacting her. Matthews was taken into custody for harassment.

DUI: Amanda Edwards crashes car on Old Springfield Highway after one drink

21-year-old Amanda Hazel Edwards had a single-vehicle accident near Old Springfield Highway in the early hours of May 5th. Upon arrival, officers located Edwards walking down the road from the crash, where they approached her and spoke with her, during which they noticed she reeked of alcohol and showed signs of impairment as she told them she was leaving a friend’s house after returning from downtown Nashville. She admitted to having one alcoholic drink around 9 p.m. and believed it was 11 p.m. when it was actually 4 a.m. She consented to sobriety tests, performed poorly, and was taken into custody. Edwards was transported to Nashville General Hospital for a blood draw and then was taken into custody for driving under the influence.

18-year-old Kelexus Simmons jailed after driving stolen GMC Terrain without a license

18-year-old Kelexus Simmons was driving a GMC Terrain, which Dylan Young reported stolen, near Claiborne Street on the afternoon of May 6th. Officers located the GMC Terrain on Carrol Street. Officers conducted surveillance until it became mobile, where Air One followed it throughout Nashville until it stopped behind a Claiborne Street residence. Then, Simmons and her juvenile acquaintance were seen running away from the GMC Terrain. Officers then detained them near Charles E. Davis Boulevard and Fain Street. Simmons had the key to the stolen vehicle on her during her arrest. They were interviewed at police headquarters, where Simmons stated she did not know where the car came from and was not involved in taking it. Officers later discovered that she did not have a valid driver’s license. Before officers located the GMC, there was a reported shooting in the area, and the vehicle suffered a bullet hole to the rear passenger door on the driver’s side. Officers also located a shell casing inside the car but had not yet determined if Simmons and her friend were involved. Simmons was taken into custody for theft, evading arrest, and not having a valid driver’s license.

Kevin Luna points gun at woman while stealing a wheel off her Infinity Q50

18-year-old Kevin Luna was one of several people attempting to take one of the wheels off Breanna Contreras’s Infinity Q50 at her Bridgeway Circle unit on May 6th. Contreras’s boyfriend, Jesus Chavez, observed them and two vehicles, one a red sedan and one a black Infinity Q50. Chavez woke Contrera, and she went outside to start filming the occurrence. Chavez called the police while she recorded them, during which Luna noticed her and began pointing his handgun at her. She stated she heard him saying something to her but was afraid to get any closer due to him having a gun. She added that she had not returned inside until Luna started pointing a laser at her. After several minutes, the red sedan drove away while Luna removed Contreras’s wheel before aiming his handgun at her, firing multiple times, and driving away in his black Infinity. Police got the tag from his vehicle as he left the scene. Officers responded to the registered Murfreesboro Pike address, where they heard him approaching due to the flat tire, and conducted a traffic stop as he pulled in. When officers searched his vehicle, they discovered her wheel in the trunk with a box for a 9mm Glock pistol consistent with the 4 9mm casing recovered at the scene. Luna was then taken into custody for aggravated robbery.

Eddie Oliver Jr. booked after staring into women’s cars in parking lot

27-year-old Eddie Anthony Oliver Jr. was taken into custody for criminal trespass and disorderly conduct on May 6th. When officers arrived, they spoke with the complainant, who stated that Oliver was looking into cars in the parking lot. They also said Oliver was walking up to several female customers, approaching their driver-side windows, and making them uncomfortable. Oliver refused to leave the property when asked. Officers located him in the parking lot, where he attempted to walk away and became uncooperative. After they confirmed that the location had an active trespass on file, he was detained for the incident.

Dewey Burks drags girlfriend to their car during argument

40-year-old Dewey Adam Burks had a domestic incident with his girlfriend, Heather Reynolds, at Nashville Palace on May 4th. When officers arrived, witnesses advised them that they observed Burks drag Reynolds to their car while she was yelling and trying to get away from him. Witnesses also said they saw Burks push Reynolds near their vehicle before one of them intervened and separated them until the police got there. Burks told officers he was telling her to come with him to the car but said he never put his hands on her. Reynolds was very frantic as she repeatedly told officers she did not know what happened while crying. Burks was deemed the primary aggressor and then was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Charles Benson breaks into ex-boyfriend’s apartment, steals $500 worth of his belongings

29-year-old Charles Benson broke into his ex-boyfriend’s, Dee Timothy Patton Jr.’s, Seifried Street apartment on May 6th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Patton Jr., who stated Benson had broken in through his bedroom window. Patton Jr. stated that Benson stole his hair clippers, some clothes, and other beard products, totaling around $500. Then, when officers spoke with Benson, he admitted, under Miranda, to “forcing entry” into Patton Jr.’s apartment, adding he was retrieving his belongings. Benson was taken into custody for aggravated burglary.

Shamon Tyler steals two iPhones from employee at Soho Bar

22-year-old Shamon Tyler was taken into custody for theft on May 6th. Officers arrived at Soho Bar and spoke with an employee, who stated he attempted to kick a group of individuals off the property, but they refused. Then, a physical altercation occurred, during which his two iPhones fell out of his pocket. After taking both iPhones, Tyler and her unidentified female associate drove off in a white Dodge SUV. While officers were at the establishment, they noticed the SUV returned and parked nearby. Tyler then started walking toward the bar. Officers tried to speak with the other individuals in the SUV while their blue lights were activated, but they fled. Then, officers attempted to contact Tyler, but she walked away before telling them she had called to return the phone. Then, Tyler called her friend, who was involved and told her to return the other iPhone, which she initially refused. They returned the employee’s iPhones and detained Tyler for the incident.
