34-year-old Antonia Denise Williams, an employee of Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, had an altercation with a co-worker, Kenyatta Avery, at their job on April 25th. Avery advised officers that Williams threatened to “beat and drag” her because she believed that she stole her money, which several people witnessed. Williams was cited for the incident that day. Williams was later booked on the citation of assault on May 13th.

Jovan Nikolic throws man on ground during argument over construction materials

40-year-old Jovan Nikolic, a Bacar Construction employee, had an altercation with Billy Morgan at a North Dupont Avenue residence on January 8th. When officers arrived, they noticed Morgan bleeding from his ear as Nikolic approached them, advising them he was the aggressor. Officers detained and Mirandized him, during which he stated that he and Morgan argued over construction materials, adding that it escalated when Morgan “got in his face.” Nikolic said that he grabbed Morgan by the neck, threw him to the ground, and started punching and kicking him. Morgan was transported to Skyline Medical, where he told officers he wished to press charges for the occurrence. Officers cited Nikolic for the incident that day. Nikolic was later booked on the citation of assault on May 13th.

Herbert Sievers spits on Shell gas station employee during argument over drink prices

63-year-old Herbert Sievers had an altercation with an employee, Jonathan Booker, at the West End Avenue Shell gas station on April 20th. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Booker, who stated that he and Sievers argued over the price of a drink. Booker stated that the argument escalated when Sievers started insulting and spitting on him. Sievers was cited for the occurrence that day. Sievers was later booked on the citation of assault on May 13th.

Jason Vanhofwegen found passed out covered in vomit outside of Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk

47-year-old Jason Vanhofwegen was found passed out and covered in vomit outside of Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk around midnight on May 17th. Officers approached Vanhofwegen, woke him up, and noted that he was “extremely intoxicated.” Vanhofwegen told them he had been drinking and smoking marijuana that night. When officers asked him to stand up, he almost fell due to his level of intoxication. Then, Vanhofwegen stated he had no place to go and was alone. Vanhofwegen was deemed unable to care for himself and was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Darian Mckissack assaults police officer during altercation at Meridian Park Apartments

25-year-old Darian Mckissack was involved in a domestic incident at a Meridian Park Apartments residence on the morning of May 16th. Upon arrival, as officers entered the unit, Mckissack approached them aggressively in a fighting stance with his fists clenched. Mckissack then pushed an officer with his hands. Officers told Mckissack he was under arrest, and he began pulling away while they tried to restrain him. Mckissack ignored their commands, forcing officers to utilize a taser to immobilize him. Mckissack was taken into custody for resisting arrest and assault of an officer.

Dana Roumfort denied boarding after drinking half a bottle of whiskey at Nashville International Airport

55-year-old Dana Noble Roumfort was denied boarding near D2 and D3 at Nashville International Airport around 5:31 a.m. on May 15th. Officers were advised by Southwest Airlines staff that she had drunk half a bottle of whiskey. When officers arrived, they located Roumfort sitting on the ground with her face in her hands and the half-empty whiskey bottle in her bag next to her. Officers noticed she reeked of alcohol and gave her the option to leave in a wheelchair, which she consented to. However, Roumfort was unable to stand and fell forward, hitting her head on a Southwest boarding stanchion. Roumfort was deemed a danger to herself and was taken into custody for public intoxication on May 16th.

Brian Duke tracks woman at Hattie B’s with AirTag, tells her “I hope you’re enjoying that sh*t chicken”

41-year-old Brian Duke was taken into custody for harassment on May 14th, 2024. On September 17th, 2023, Deana Jane Greenlee-Fitz called the police to her Cabin Hill Road residence. Greenlee-Fitz advised officers that when she was out with her family eating at Hattie B’s Hot Chicken on September 16th, 2023, Duke texted her saying, “I hope you’re enjoying that sh*t chicken.” Greenlee-Fitz was confused about how Duke knew her location until she discovered an Apple AirTag device inside her purse. Greenlee-Fitz then told him to stop contacting her and blocked his number. She said Duke then used Venmo to message her by sending her $0.01 at a time, telling her to unblock him. Greenlee-Fitz added that she fears what he might do due to their history. A warrant was issued for his arrest, and he was later detained for the occurrence.

30-year-old Cory Andrew Peckins was observed exposing his genitals and masturbating at Parmer Park on Leake Avenue in the afternoon hours of May 4th. Zane Gray alerted the authorities, and when they arrived, they noticed there were children present at the park. Officers discovered this was the second complaint concerning Peckins within two days. Gray provided them with a description of him. Police located Peckins at Phillips Toy Barn before finding that he had been charged with a similar crime in California and is currently on a $60,000 bond. His family members told police that he had not returned to court in California and was on the way to Virginia when he abandoned his vehicle somewhere in Davidson County. Peckins was taken into custody for indecent exposure on May 13th.

William A Williams tells Mapco manager that he’ll “slap her up”

51-year-old William Williams was taken into custody for assault on May 11th. Officers were called to the Main Street Mapco gas station, where they spoke with Marlyna Jefferson, the store manager, who stated that at around 3:50 p.m., one of her employees had called her advising that Williams was aggressively panhandling their customers. Jefferson said she approached him to tell him he was not allowed to be there, to leave, and that he was trespassing, during which he started yelling derogatory, offensive, provocative slurs at her while threatening to “slap” her up, causing her to fear for bodily injury and call the police.
