Nathan Woods found passed out at hotel bar, threatening to fight police & medics

34-year-old Nathan Woods was found passed out at the bar of the Hyatt Place Nashville/Brentwood on Summit View Drive late Monday night. Medics arrived and offered assistance, which was refused once he became aware of his surroundings. He was extremely intoxicated and unable to care for himself. Unhappy with his situation, he made threats to fight both police and medics. Due to being unable to care for himself, he was taken into custody.

Man pulls knife on clerk when he doesn’t have ID to pick up alcohol for DoorDash order — Clayton Phifer

24-year-old Clayton Phifer and his wife were DoorDashing and had an order to pick up alcohol from a Berry Hill liquor store. When neither was able to produce ID to verify their age, they were denied the alcohol. After some back and forth, the store informed Clayton he was no longer welcome, and Clayton became irate and went outside only to return back inside with his wife. The clerk felt threatened and grabbed a bottle of liquor in case he had to defend himself, at which time Clayton pulled out a pocket knife and stated “there’s gonna be a murder scene in here”. The clerk and the Clayton were chest-to-chest during parts of the altercation and intimidation.

DUI: Nashville Realtor crashes into a parked car after Margaritas & Tequila — Samantha Patton

25-year-old Nashville Realtor Samantha ‘Sammie’ Patton was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Friday evening after leaving Cilantro Mexican Grill, where she says she had two margaritas and a shot of tequila before driving. Officers say she left the restaurant and proceeded onto Eastland Ave where she struck a parked vehicle. When officers and medics responded to the overturned vehicle they found Patton extremely impaired. She refused a breath test.

DUI: Man says he hit a pothole… Officers say he was drunk — Olaoluwa Faparusi arrested

Officers found 23-year-old Olaoluwa “Laolu” Faparusi inside his disabled vehicle on Woodmont Blvd when officers approached to offer assistance. Faparusi told officers he had hit a pothole and was waiting on roadside assistance. Officers noticed front and back tire damage, along with a damaged mirror that Faparusi was unable to explain.

He eventually admitted to having a Sake drink before driving and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. He is charged with DUI.

DUI: Man flees after crash, tells police he’s “a lightweight when it comes to drinking”— Michael Simonetti

31-year-old Michael Simonetti, who described himself to police as “a lightweight when it comes to drinking” called to report he had been in a crash just over 90 minutes earlier. Police met him just down the street, where they discovered a puddle and trail of fresh alcohol, which he had poured out the window of his vehicle. He says he left the scene because he believed the other vehicle also left. Inside the car, police found 6 empty Captain Morgan bottles, and a glass with ice and liquor inside, along with other random alcohol cans.

He failed field sobriety tests and was charged with DUI, violation of implied consent law, and leaving the scene of an accident.
