Nathanial Jacob tackles, strangles boyfriend during argument

27-year-old Nathanial Jacob was jailed early Monday morning when officers responded to Old Matthews Road after he assaulted his boyfriend. Sergio Donis told officers that Nathanial started arguing with him for no reason. He said he was trying to leave when Nathanial tackled him to the floor in the hallway, and they began fighting. Sergio stated that Nathanial was on top of him and strangled him for about 40 seconds to the point where he had difficulty breathing and speaking. Officers observed a scratch on Sergio’s face, and a witness told officers they saw Nathanial on top of Sergio with his hand around his neck.

Danmion Eddings wields butter knife toward ex-girlfriend who calls his mother on him

22-year-old Danmion Eddings Jr. got into an argument with Caitlyn Wheeler, the mother of his child, over gas money to put in her vehicle in the wee hours of October 24th. Officers were dispatched to Buena Vista Pike for a call regarding a domestic disturbance and spoke with Wheeler as they arrived. Wheeler told officers that she and Eddings were having a verbal altercation when he started to call her out of her name and stated, “If you hit me, I’m gonna hit you back.” Wheeler reported that Eddings pulled her off the couch and began to hit her in the face and that she took his phone to call his mom to tell her about how he was acting.

Officers were told that Eddings stood over Wheeler and grabbed her by the throat before demanding his phone while wielding a butter knife. Wheeler stated that she then locked herself in a room and that Eddings punched a hole in through the door while she was on the phone with officers. Eddings told officers that the entire argument was over Wheeler wanting money and that he “had enough” before shoving her. Eddings stated that Wheeler was the one who grabbed the knife and that he left the residence after attempting to get his phone back. Police observed markings on Wheeler’s collarbone and throat, as well as a hole in the door, both corroborating with her statements, and determined Eddings to be the primary aggressor. Eddings was taken into custody for aggravated assault.

DUI: Colton Weinberg charged after blowing 0.128% BAC on breathalyzer

25-year-old Colton Weinberg was observed behind the wheel of a vehicle parked on the grass median on Ashland City Highway near the Cheatham County line Monday night. They met Colton, who had bloodshot eyes consistent with intoxication. A witness said that they saw Colton follow them in the wrong lane of traffic before he pulled into the median. Police performed standardized field sobriety tests, which Colton performed poorly. Colton told police under Miranda that he had been to Bavarian Brewhouse earlier, where he had two beers and a shot of Crown. Colton was transported to booking, where he yielded a 0.128% BAC.

Ross Yeo charged with DUI after crashing into mailbox on Old Clarksville Pike

25-year-old Ross Yeo told police he was “going through things” and “needed to leave it all up to him” but would not elaborate further when they found him on Old Clarksville Pike late Friday night. He reportedly reeked of alcohol and had run over a mailbox about forty-five minutes prior. He also admitted to consuming a Heineken and four mixed drinks prior to driving. Police found his wrecked vehicle some distance away on Old Clarksville Pike, with an open case Heineken inside. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was taken into custody. He later blew a 0.110% BAC on a breathalyzer.

Norma Odilia-Macz attacks boyfriend with bicycle, gold belt, extension cord, and knife

24-year-old Norma Odilia-Macz was preparing for a child’s birthday party last week when she reportedly became increasingly intoxicated and began to attack her boyfriend of three years, Isaac Sonora De Jesus. Police were called to the scene after she threw a bicycle at the victim, smacked him with a brown extension cord, and hit him with a gold belt. Not finished with her drunken assault, she then grabbed a knife and began to attack his head, causing injuries that were treated by medics. Officers located the bloody knife, bicycle, extension cord, and gold belt, all of which were considered evidence of the crime.

Spencer Clariday faces felony after pulling his gun on a man who he says was wielding a machete

33-year-old Spencer Clariday is charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after he pulled a handgun from a waistband holster and ran the slide, putting a round in the chamber while speaking to Pejhman Ehsani. Clariday says he did so because Ehsani was allegedly holding a machete, and he was in fear for his life. Officers reviewed a video of the incident and were not able to confirm if the victim was wielding a machete at the time of the incident.

McDUI: Troy White passed out behind the wheel in drive-thru with two loaded handguns

Police found 56-year-old Troy White asleep in his vehicle at McDonald’s drive-thru at 1:30 a.m. Sunday. He initially seemed unconscious but slowly acknowledged people were around, but could not follow simple commands. Police say he reeked of alcohol, and he stated he had been drinking at a nearby bar where he had “four bottles of beer.” He performed poorly on field sobriety tests, and during a search of his vehicle incident to arrest, two loaded handguns were found around his seat, once under it, and the other next to the center console.
