36-year-old Aamin Stokes had a domestic incident with his on-and-off girlfriend, Shayla Childs, at her Work Drive residence on June 11th, 2023. When officers arrived, they spoke with Childs, who stated Stokes had come over after they ended their relationship. They began to argue, and it escalated when Stokes shoved Childs down a set of stairs, leaving her left shin bruised and swollen. She also had visible marks on her knees. They deemed Stokes the primary aggressor and issued a warrant for his arrest. Stokes was taken into custody for domestic assault on April 28th, 2024.
Aamin Stokes of Sunset View Drive in Hermitage, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on April 28th, charged with domestic assault. He is free on a $2,500 bond.
