Mario Greer charged in sexual assault of hotel employee where he worked as a valet

25-year-old Mario Greer is accused of sexually assaulting an employee of the Embassy Suites Hotel in downtown Nashville, where he worked as a valet. The victim says that on March 5, Greer, who she only vaguely knew as someone who worked in the building, followed her into the service elevator after her lunch break. She says he put her in a “bear hug” from behind and she could feel his erect member through his pants. He reportedly fondled her breasts and buttocks before she was able to break away. Officers documented bruising on her arm, and a warrant was issued for Greer’s arrest.

Darius Harris jailed after carrying firearm in downtown Nashville while using drugs & drinking

26-year-old Darius Xavier Harris was a Margaritaville in downtown Nashville Friday night with female companions and a gun tucked into a holster on his waistband. Throughout the night, Harris indulged in the use of narcotics and alcohol, and as they were leaving the venue, one of the women took his gun from him and secured it in her possession due to his level of intoxication. A concerned citizen had observed Harris with the gun and contacted police, who arrived to find them on the sidewalk. As they secured the weapon, Harris became increasingly intoxicated and appeared to be overdosing. He was treated with Narcan and became coherent again. Officers attempted to issue him a citation, but he refused to sign it.

DUI: Aymin Mechel jailed after crashing into a parked vehicle

40-year-old Aymin Mechel was found at the scene of an accident with his vehicle and another parked vehicle. Police spoke to Aymin, who, per the report, reeked of cologne, was unsteady on his feet, and had bloodshot eyes. While speaking to Aymin, police noted that his breath smelled of alcohol. Aymin told police that he hit the parked car and consented to do sobriety tests. After the first test, when he showed clear signs of intoxication, he refused to continue to do tests and argued with the officer. After he was placed into custody, he refused to consent to a breathalyzer or a blood draw. In booking, he admitted to police that he was intoxicated during the accident.

Gabriel Kuhn bounced from Whiskey Row in downtown Nashville

28-year-old Gabriel Kuhn was asked to leave Whiskey Row on Broadway in downtown Nashville in the early hours of Sunday morning. Kuhn refused to leave, despite multiple attempts. MNPD officers arrived at the scene and noted Kuhn’s extreme level of intoxication. He was given the opportunity to contact friends to retrieve him but was unable to do so. He was then transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.

A tearful Adam Campbell jailed after assaulting barback at Wildhorse Saloon

23-year-old Adam Campbell was handcuffed by Wildhorse Saloon security after he assaulted one of their employees. Police found Adam handcuffed late in the night on August 4th outside the Wildhorse Saloon, being detained by security with tears in his eyes. Police spoke to the Wild Horse Saloon barback, Joshua Vanzile, who said he was carrying two bottles of liquor and asked Adam to move. Adam refused to move and told Joshua to “Shut the fuck up.” Joshua said that Adam pushed and punched him in the face five times. Security was then called, and they detained Adam. Police reviewed camera footage from security which showed Joshua’s account of the incident to be true. Adam was placed under arrest for assault.

Tourist Jamie Rex-McMullen assaults bouncer at Lucky Bastard Saloon in Nashville

28-year-old Indiana tourist Jamie Rex-McMullen was kicked out of Lucky Bastard Saloon in downtown Nashville after reportedly throwing a cup of water on security guard Alicia Gill. After assaulting her with water, security video shows Rex-McMullen grabbing the victim’s throat during an altercation and holding her until the victim could no longer speak. She also punched the victim on her upper body multiple times.

Jeremy Mitchell punches through ex-girlfriend’s window; says she’s “going to die”

21-year-old Jeremy Mitchell told his ex-girlfriend she would die after breaking into her home. On July 24th, Chelsea Serritella called the police and stated someone was trying to break into her home. MNPD officers arrived at the residence on Harrington Ave and spoke to Chelsea, who said that her ex-boyfriend, the defendant, broke into her home. She said they broke up a week ago, and he had moved all his belongings out with him. But earlier on the 24th, she said that Jeremy texted her that he was “having people over” and “people sleeping in her bed.” She said that Jeremy was often paranoid due to his abuse of drugs, most notably Xanax.

Chelsea said that Jeremy began knocking on her side door and kicking it when she refused to open it. After that, she heard him yell, “I told you, you were going to die.” Then he broke the window to her bedroom by punching it and attempted to climb through. Chelsea said at that time, she went and hid in her bathroom. Her son, Anthony Serritella, heard him say that she was going to die and saw him drive away in a green SUV, which was the same one he had arrived in. Police noticed the broken window and muddy footprints on the side door.

Benjamin Gooding jailed after failing to move over for an emergency vehicle on roadway

32-year-old Benjamin Gooding failed to move out of the way of a traffic stop in his Jeep and told the officer, “I’m sorry.” On August 1st, an officer pulled over to help Tennessee State Trooper Ryan Declan conduct a traffic stop on I-65. The officer placed his vehicle directly behind the trooper’s vehicle to direct traffic. At this time, a dark-colored Jeep Wagoneer did not move over and failed to slow down while passing. The officer pulled the vehicle over, and Benjamin was the driver. Benjamin told the officer, “I’m sorry,” when the officer told him of the offense. He was placed into custody and transported to booking.

Jasmine Peacock jailed after fighting another woman in Hermitage parking lot

28-year-old Jasmine Peacock fought another woman in front of police officers and was jailed for disorderly conduct. MNPD officers spoke to Jasmine on August 3rd in a parking lot at Hermitage Manor and Autumn Woods Terrace. They saw Jasmine jump towards a female, grab her head, and punch her in the face several times. She was immediately placed into custody despite kicking and pulling away from the police. Jasmine was told to stop assaulting, threatening, cursing, and yelling at the female. Police determined she and the female were not in a domestic relationship.
