Chrisopher Bean repeatedly asks to be arrested after being kicked out of Tootsies Orchid Lounge

27-year-old Chrisopher Bean attempted to re-enter Tootsies Orchid Lounge after being removed in the later hours of May 12th. Security for the establishment flagged officers down, and when police arrived, they repeatedly advised Bean to return to his hotel or walk away. Then, Bean stated he wanted to go to jail and put his hands out to be arrested. Officers told Bean they did not want to take him to jail and that he needed to leave the area. Then, Bean called his lawyer while telling officers, “Just arrest me,” and started walking toward the bar with his hands behind his back while telling officers, “Take me to jail.” Bean was taken into custody for public intoxication. While in custody, Bean could not remember anything and continuously asked why he was under arrest for DUI. Bean also called one of the officers “Baby“,” and changed his story of” and changed his story about what was happening multiple times.

Oliver Mcclean caught with cocaine after harassing patrons at Rippy’s Honky Tonk

32-year-old Oliver Edward Mcclean caused a disturbance at Rippy’s Honky Tonk around 8:18 p.m. on May 11th. Upon arrival, several witnesses and security for the establishment told officers that Mcclean was harassing and touching patrons. Security also stated Mcclean was involved in a physical altercation, prompting them to remove him from the bar. The other party involved in the scuffle advised officers that he told Mcclean to stop harassing patrons. Mcclean responded, “What are you going to do about it?” Mcclean then approached him and put his hands around the man’s neck. He said he pushed Mcclean back, prompting security to break up the fight. Then, officers located Mcclean outside of the bar, reeking of alcohol and showing signs of intoxication. Mcclean was seen yelling at security guards, prompting officers to separate him. Mcclean could not call anyone he knew or provide officers with the address to where he was staying, so they deemed him a danger to himself and others. During a subsequent search, officers discovered a baggie containing 1.7 grams of cocaine. Mcclean was taken into custody for simple possession and public intoxication.

Simone Babis arrested for interjecting in a police investigation

37-year-old Simone Babis was interfering with police work near The Hilton and Bridgestone Arena on May 4th. Babis saw them speaking with a male juvenile, which upset her because she believed they were profiling him and felt she needed to stand by just in case. She interjected multiple times, asking the young male questions he did not want to answer. Officers told her she needed to back up and that it was none of her business what he was doing. She continued interrupting their investigation, asking if he was in custody and if he wanted her to call his mother, which was when officers requested a supervisor to the scene. When they arrived, they advised Babis to walk away, adding that it was none of her concern as to why he was with the police. She continued to ask, “Is he under arrest?” while ignoring their commands, prompting them to detain her for the incident. Babis was taken into custody for disorderly conduct.

Anthony Flores attempts to direct traffic on Broadway, told police he was “on post at Fort Campbell”

33-year-old Anthony Flores was booked on March 17th for assaulting a man at Shake Shack on Broadway Place. Michael Bahr stated that while he was waiting for a friend, he observed Flores, who was highly intoxicated, attempting to direct traffic. Flores told Bahr to move along and was becoming angry that he wouldn’t move. Flores then kicked Bahr’s driver’s side door, causing visible damage. Bahr stepped out of his vehicle to try to stop Flores. Flores became aggressive and punched the glasses off Bahr’s face, leaving him with a bloody nose.

When officers asked Flores for his side of the story he stood at “parade rest” stance and thought he was on post at Fort Campbell. Flores told officers that he had been drinking but not too much. Flores was visibly intoxicated and smelled of alcohol. Flores was then taken into custody. Flores fell asleep on the way to booking but told officers he was “looking at the scenery.”

California Tourist Alansan Bangura tased after resisting arrest, tells officers they’re “enslaving him”

36-year-old California tourist Alansan Bangura caused a disturbance at Luke’s 32 Bridge late March 10th. Security for the establishment alerted authorities and advised them that Bangura refused to leave the bar after being told to do so. Security noted that this was due to Bangura annoying other patrons, bumping into them, and making a scene. When the officers arrived, they tried to speak with him, but he was verbally irate, disregarding their commands. Officers then went to detain Bangura, but he became resistive, pushing backward, causing them to fall onto the ground in an unknown liquid. During this scuffle, Bangura fell onto Officer Tucker, injuring his shoulder. While on the ground, Bangura continued to resist, refusing to give officers his hands. When officers got his left wrist into a handcuff, they told him that he would be tasered if he continued not to cooperate, which he did not. After numerous chances, Officer Liquori placed the taser on Bangura’s back and dry-stunned him. After being tased, Bangura finally gave the officers his hand so they could detain him. Bangura repeatedly told officers that they were “enslaving him” and that they needed to take him to the precinct to let him go. Bangura also called them racial slurs while on the way to booking. Bangura was taken into custody for the assault of an officer, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and criminal trespassing on March 11th.

Washington Tourist Natasha Lysiak yells at police, refuses to leave Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk

44-year-old Washington tourist Natasha Spirit Lysiak refused to leave Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk in the early hours of February 3rd. Security at the bar advised officers that she stood before the side door, stopping people from coming or going. Officers responded and observed Lysiak going up to the side door. Officers tried to get her attention, but she started walking away. Then, Lysiak stepped up to the officers, yelling at them as they tried to speak with her, attempting to get in their faces. Lysiak was visibly intoxicated and irate as officers tried talking with her. Lysiak then screamed as she was escorted to the patrol car. Lysiak then refused to sit in the patrol car while yelling at officers. Officers eventually were able to get Lysiak in the vehicle and transported her to booking as she cried in the backseat. Lysiak was taken into custody for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Deutsche Bank Broker Crosby Kisler attempts to bite officer in booking, says he is “an assassin trying to kill him”

35-year-old Crosby Kisler, broker at Deutsche Bank, had an incident at Whiskey Row in the early hours of January 29th. Whiskey Row security flagged officers down regarding a male, later identified as Kisler, who had fallen on the ground. When officers arrived, they noticed Kisler had visible injuries to his forehead and nose, using the building to balance himself. Kisler showed signs of intoxication as he told officers that the Whiskey Row security personnel “ganged up on him” and assaulted him as he tried to walk away. Security spoke with officers and informed them that they turned around and saw Kisler fall over. They attempted to help him up but had no other interaction with him. Officers tried to ask Kisler where he was staying. Kisler stated he was staying at a place that was paid for with his own money and refused to give them an address. Then, officers explained to him how they would need an address due to his level of impairment, but Kisler tried to leave, stating he was going to walk home. He was deemed a danger to himself and others, so they detained him. On the way to booking, Kisler gained an Irish accent, calling officers “c*nts” and “f*ggots,” saying they do nothing to better this country. Then, once at booking, Kisler said that Officer Sprouse was an assassin who was trying to kill him. Kisler stood up repeatedly, so Sprouse had to assist him back to the bench. Kisler then kicked Sprouse in the leg twice and tried to bite him. Kisler was taken into custody for two counts of assault on an officer and public intoxication.

Zaid Amro drunkenly tries fighting security at Whiskey Row on New Year’s Eve

30-year-old Zaid Hisham-Ata Amro had a scuffle with security at Whiskey Row late on December 31st. Whiskey Row security warned Amro to leave due to him being disorderly and intoxicated. Officers observed Amro resisting and fighting with security while being escorted out of the establishment. The security staff managed to detain Amro at the bar as officers arrived. Zaid Amro was taken into custody for disorderly conduct on January 1st.
