Robert Niesporek takes off shirt, threatens to fight police after they take his drink away

26-year-old Robert John Niesporek was observed walking on the sidewalk with an open container of alcohol outside of Whiskey Row in the early hours of May 5th. Police noticed he reeked of alcohol and advised him that he needed to throw away his drink, which he refused. Niesporek then started to drink, prompting officers to take the open container out of his hand. After this, Niesporek took a fighting stance, removed his shirt, asking police, “You want to go?” while yelling and screaming derogatory slurs in their faces. Officers gave him multiple opportunities to leave after being warned he would be detained for his behavior, but he continued to be belligerent. Officers deemed Niesporek a danger to himself or others. Niesporek was taken into custody for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Freddy Leyva drunkenly threatens to slap police officer in downtown Nashville

36-year-old Freddy Leyva was taken into custody for public intoxication on April 22nd. Late April 21st,  officers were flagged down regarding two “overly intoxicated” individuals near 3rd Avenue North and Commerce Street, one of which was later identified as Leyva. When officers arrived, they noticed he showed signs of impairment and alerted the medics, who transported the other unidentified female for medical evaluation. While waiting for the medical unit, officers asked Leyva what the relationship between him and the unidentified female was, causing Leyva to become aggressive. Leyva then threatened to slap an officer, so officers detained him. When medics arrived, Leyva was deemed a danger to himself and others after refusing all medical services. Leyva was taken into custody for public intoxication.  

Garry Noah kicked out of Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk for being “overly intoxicated”

38-year-old Garry Alexander Noah was taken into custody for public intoxication on March 23rd. Security at Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk flagged officers down, advising they had an “overly intoxicated” individual, later identified as Noah. Officers attempted to gather his information when they arrived, but he could not answer their questions. Officers could not locate anyone who knew or could care for him, so they deemed him a danger to himself or others and detained him.

Madison Mann argues with friends, refuses to leave Broadway Brewhouse Downtown

24-year-old Madison Mann was taken into custody for public intoxication on March 18th. Officers responded to a call for service regarding an assault at Broadway Brewhouse Downtown. When officers arrived, they were informed about an alleged domestic incident, which led to them speaking with Mann, who was visibly intoxicated and not able to answer their questions. After speaking with several witnesses, they determined there was no domestic incident. So, officers flagged down a cab to get Mann a ride home. Then, they noticed that Mann could not stand independently and needed her friends to assist her. Mann began to argue with her associates, refusing to get in the taxi. Officers determined Mann was deemed a danger to herself and others. Officers then took Mann into custody for public intoxication.

Catholic High School President J. Marshall Hyzdu jailed after harassing women in Nashville bar

45-year-old Catholic school president James Marshall Hyzdu was jailed in Nashville Saturday after reportedly following women around a Nashville bar, making them feel uncomfortable. Security at The Twelve Thirty Club says Hyzdu came into the bar and began to follow women around, making them uncomfortable and annoyed with the behavior. Hyzdu was escorted out of the location, only to return and continue the behavior. According to security, he was escorted out of the building six times and continued to return, even changing his clothing once to change his appearance. He was eventually detained until Metro Nashville Police arrived and took him into custody. They noted his extreme level of intoxication and had no one to contact to retrieve him or assist him back to his hotel. J. Terrell Favors booked after police investigate suspicious vehicle on Broadway

29-year-old Terrell Favors was booked on the citation of simple possession on March 4th. On February 3rd, officers patrolled the Broadway area when they noticed a suspicious vehicle and approached the driver’s side. Officers asked Favors to exit his car, which he did and then searched him. Officers located a small amount of marijuana on Favors’ person. Terrell Favors was cited for the incident and booked on the citation on March 4th.

Andrea Romero punches husband in face at Jason Aldean’s Rooftop Bar

40-year-old Andrea Melissa Romero had a domestic dispute with her husband, Arturo David Soto, at Jason Aldean’s Rooftop Bar on the night of February 18th. Soto flagged officers down, advising them that he and Romero had an altercation, so officers separated the two to gather information. Soto stated they were leaving the bar when an argument sparked, so he went next door and returned as she was walking down the stairs. Then, Romero punched him on the left side of his face. Romero spoke with officers, telling them there was an argument, but nothing physical occurred. Officers reviewed the camera footage, and it correlated with Soto’s statement. Romero was taken into custody for domestic assault.
