33-year-old Cody Matthews had a domestic incident with his ex-girlfriend, Kayla Michelle Pugh, on the night of May 5th. Officers arrived at Pugh’s Woodycrest Avenue residence, where they spoke with Pugh, who stated she and Matthews had an agreement regarding a motorcycle. Since then, they had not been getting along, but she wanted the bike. Pugh said she advised Matthews she was on her way to pick up the motorcycle, and after their phone call, he continued to call her 172 times in two hours while texting her in between calls. She responded, telling him to “leave her alone,” but he disregarded. Pugh told officers his actions made her uncomfortable and annoyed, adding that she just wanted him to stop contacting her. Matthews was taken into custody for harassment.
Cody D Matthews of Woodycrest Avenue in Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on May 5th, charged with harassment. He is free on a $1,000 bond.
