Dana Roumfort denied boarding after drinking half a bottle of whiskey at Nashville International Airport

55-year-old Dana Noble Roumfort was denied boarding near D2 and D3 at Nashville International Airport around 5:31 a.m. on May 15th. Officers were advised by Southwest Airlines staff that she had drunk half a bottle of whiskey. When officers arrived, they located Roumfort sitting on the ground with her face in her hands and the half-empty whiskey bottle in her bag next to her. Officers noticed she reeked of alcohol and gave her the option to leave in a wheelchair, which she consented to. However, Roumfort was unable to stand and fell forward, hitting her head on a Southwest boarding stanchion. Roumfort was deemed a danger to herself and was taken into custody for public intoxication on May 16th.

Rachel Girardi breaches security doors at Nashville International Airport after leaving purse in bathroom

36-year-old Rachel Girardi was seen violating airport procedures at the Nashville International Airport on March 10th. Girardi landed from her flight, went to the restroom, and left her purse. Without knowing that she left her purse in the restroom, Girardi walked out of the secure side of the airport to the non-secure side. Once Girardi noticed that she had left her purse, she breached the security doors and took off running down C-Concourse. Officers cited her for the violation that day. Girardi was booked on the citation for airport and aircraft security violation on April 3rd.

Toshel Hughes caught at Nashville International Airport with 18 pounds of marijuana

27-year-old Toshel Dennesse Hughes was taken into custody for felony possession of a schedule VI drug on February 28th. Nashville Airport Police Department investigated an inbound Southwest flight 802 scheduled to arrive from Los Angeles, CA, and deployed their narcotics detecting K-9 Peggy, who gave a positive indication to four bags. There was a hard-sided dark pink roller bag with a SWA bag tag name displaying “Collins/Ebony,” a dark blue hard-sided roller bag with a SWA bag tag name displaying “Moss/Alvin,” a light blue hard-sided roller bag with a SWA bag tag name displaying “Hampton/Willie,” and a light pink hard-sided roller bag with a SWA bag tag name displaying “Hughes/Toshel.” Officers located them once each bag was claimed and separately asked to search their luggage, to which they consented. During a search of Hughes’s light pink suitcase, they located 18 bundles of vacuum-sealed marijuana as well a small amount in her purse totaling 8,164.66 grams/18 pounds.
