Gabrielle Hydorn hits husband with shoe, punches him in head during argument

29-year-old Gabrielle Hydorn told police her husband hit her after telling her to stop being so loud. She told police after they arrived at the residence on Lebanon Pike on August 8th that she was on the phone with her sisters when her husband, Kevin Hydron, told her to stop being so loud. After the demand, he entered the bedroom, took her phone, and hit her arm and leg. She said she followed him into the living room, hit him in the back of the head, and threw a shoe at him, causing a scratch on his shin. Kevin told police that he asked her to quiet down, then sat on the living room couch. He said that she came into the living room, hit him in the back of the head several times, and threw the shoe at him. Police determined Gabrielle to be the primary aggressor based on the two’s history, Kevin’s injuries, and conflicting stories.

Third suspect arrested in 10K purse heist from Mother’s Ruin Bar — James Noel

23-year-old James Noel was involved in stealing a $10,000 Gucci purse at Mother’s Ruin bar previously covered by Scoop Nashville. He is the third suspect identified in the theft, caught on security footage from the bar. The theft happened on August 3rd when Madeline Lublin was charged with the theft, and her boyfriend, Aeden Whittington-Baschoff, was charged with a false report after returning the purse. The video shows James as the one who grabbed the purse from the table and handed it to Madeline. He was unidentified during the time in which Madeline was arrested but was later told who he was. During the investigation, an anonymous tip was sent in from crime stoppers, absolutely confirming James’ identity. Police also confirmed his place of employment, which they contacted and received James’ contact information. The officer spoke with James, who said he would surrender himself due to his involvement in the theft.

Andre Reveles charged with DUI while driving to get his grandmother a soda

24-year-old Andre Reveles crashed his grandmother’s Silver Ford Focus on Strasser Dr late Tuesday night. Police arrived to the location where Andre had moved the vehicle across from the telephone pole he struck and spoke with him. He said he was getting his grandma a soda but admitted to drinking “2 or 3 beers” before driving. Police described him as smelling like alcohol and had him perform sobriety tests. After he showed indications of intoxication, he consented to a blood sample and was placed into custody.

Francis Lytton strangles son when he won’t pull up his pants for school, per report (Angel Sims)

56-year-old Francis Lytton, who also goes by the name Angel Sims, told MNPD Sgt. Gray that her juvenile son, who called 911 for strangling him, was lying about the assault. MNPD Officer Cushman and another officer spoke with the son first when they arrived and found him being treated by NFD EMS. He told police that he was waiting on his brother’s shoes earlier that Tuesday morning to get ready for school. The shoes never arrived, and Francis told the son repeatedly to get ready for school and to pull up his pants. When he refused to pull his pants up, he said that is when Francis hit him with her purse and reached for his neck to strangle him. EMS transported him to Vanderbilt Hospital after police observed his neck and collarbone injuries. The officers attempted to ask Francis about the incident, but she refused to tell them anything. They called MNPD Sgt. Gray, whom she spoke with on the phone. Francis said the son was slow getting ready for school, would not pull up his pants, and was disrespectful. She also said he was lying about her strangling him, for he sustained those injuries after leaving the residence.

Vipul Patel charged with public intoxication in restroom of Nashville Airport

45-year-old Vipul Patel, Tuesday morning, was in the Nashville International Airport, reportedly being loud, rambling, and annoying other passengers by trying to talk to them. Police were told that they could find him in the restroom by Southwest Airlines found him. When police contacted Vipul, he spoke to other passengers in the restroom and blocked the entrance. They said he smelled strongly of alcohol, was lethargic, rambled, and was still loud even though they were present. Southwest Airlines told police that Vipul’s flight was changed to the next day after they denied him access. Police advised Vipul of this and told him they would order him a taxi to a hotel. Vipul refused to leave the restroom, told police he was flying to Houston now, and would file a lawsuit against the airline. Police told Vipul multiple times that he could not board the plane that day and would be escorted to another means of transportation. After he still refused to leave, police placed him under arrest for public intoxication.

Max Hocker jailed for DUI; found in backseat of car with his girlfriend

18-year-old Maxwell Hocker was found in the parking lot of Woodmont Baptist Church with his girlfriend, Parker Strang, with their car running. Police noticed them in the parking lot close to midnight on Wednesday with the vehicle still running. They made contact when they saw the two in the vehicle’s backseat. Maxwell smelled strongly of alcohol and told police that he drank wine in the parking lot with Parker but had not driven. But later, he said they drank at a party nearby and drove to the parking lot before claiming into the backseat together. Parker told police they were drinking at the party, and then Maxwell drove them to the parking lot. Standard sobriety tests were administered, and he showed signs of intoxication. He refused to do one of the tests due to previous concussions and refused the provide a breath sample.

Renas Kestay raids Mapco for scratch-offs and cigarettes

31-year-old Renas Kestay was let into a Mapco by an employee around 2 a.m. on July 13th. Police reviewed security footage that showed Renas entering the store, grabbing a trash bag by the door, going behind the counter, and filling the bag with cigarettes and scratch-off lottery tickets. The estimated value of cigarettes and scratch-offs inside the back is $1,195. The footage then shows Renas leaving with the trash bag. Police identified Renas from his tattoos and previous body cam footage with him in it.

Rachel Quinn charged with punching caregiver in face and biting her arm

33-year-old Rachel Quinn was a possible suicidal patient at a hospital on March 31st, 2021, and Michelle Shults was in charge of watching her. Shults told the officers they were in the common area when Quinn became upset, so Shults began escorting her back to her room. While escorting Quinn back, Shults said she grabbed her by the hair, pushed her to the floor, and hit her in the face several times. Kelly Young saw the assault and attempted to break it up, but then Quinn bit her forearm. Police reported that Shults face had bruising and was swollen. A warrant was issued for her arrest in April, and she was booked into custody this week.

Keniqua Mcadams jailed for custodial interference after taking children on a cruise

40-year-old Keniqua McAdams was charged with custodial interference after she kept the father of her kids away from them during his allotted time for visitation. The victim, Keemer Jordan, was supposed to have visitation with his two children from July 1st to August 8th. On July 1st, Keniqua took the two children on a cruise with her outside of the country, not allowing Keemer the time for visitation, which was designated by a court order.

Alexander Airhart charged in rape of woman he brought home to “show her the architecture”

40-year-old Alexander Airhart took the victim, D. L. M., home with him from a bar on July 22nd to show her the architecture where he raped her, the victim stated. She disclosed the incident to police at Vanderbilt Hospital on July 23rd, where they responded to a sexual assault call. She said on the night of July 21st, she, Alexander, and his unknown friend were at a bar when Alexander invited her to his house on Battlefield Dr. to “see the architecture.”

She said yes, and had a couple of sips of a drink that Alexander made her while his friend slept on the couch. After a little more socializing, she stated that she wanted to leave, but Alexander convinced her to stay the night due to her drinking and being unsafe for her to drive. Again, she agreed, and Alexander offered for her to stay in his bed since his friend was on the couch. While they were upstairs in Alexander’s room, she said that she felt sick and was sitting on the edge of the bed when Alexander began taking her clothes off. She told Alexander, “Please don’t do this. I don’t want this,” as he reportedly ripped her pants off. She told him she was about to vomit to get him to move away from her.

He went into the bathroom, so she tried to exit the room. He saw this, pulled her into the bathroom, and then put her pants and purse in the bedroom. Entering the room again to grab her items, the victim stated that Alexander began pushing her, eventually getting her onto the bed despite her attempts to fight him off. During the struggle, Alexander got on top of her and pushed her legs apart, forcing his member into her mouth by prying her mouth open. She stated, “Please stop,” but then decided to “let it happen” so it would end sooner. He then penetrated her sexually as she said she pleaded with him to stop, but she blacked out soon after that. When she awoke, she said she was in the same room, and was bleeding from the forced penetration. On July 23rd, she went to Vanderbilt and completed a Medico/legal-examination (rape kit). The report stated that she had bruises on her collarbone and redness on her vagina.
